The cozy velvet chairs makes this place a nice little gettaway for tea and catching up with friends. I appreciate there is no upcharge for non-dairy milk here. They have an oat milk option as well as a 2% lactose-free option. The service was great and the cashier was very friendly. My friend is lactose intolerant and I'm vegan so we both were looking for non-dairy options. There was something for the both of us. The cashier was knowledgeable about the menu and how to accommodate to our dietary preferences without much fuss. There wasn't much of a wait time which was nice too. I ordered their matcha latte, light ice, no sweetener, and added strawberry puree. It was perfect! I look forward to coming back to try their other drinks.

With that in mind, with the decor and the aesthetics in here, I would recommend dining in over grabbing a drink order and doing a to go because I think that's where their strengths are. Would be cute for photo backdrops or to catch up with some tea and some tea with the buddies. For our brunch/late breakfast order, we got the: 1) Corn Milk with Pandan Jelly (less ice, less sugar): -Even with these adjustments it was still quite sweet, I'm not sure if it was from the run off from the jelly. I think if I was going to order it again, I'd get it with no sugar and just go with whatever natural sweetness the corn and the jelly would add in normally. -Only other place I've seen corn milk at was Unu Cafe in SoCal, but this one was a bit too sweet in comparison. I'll keep that in mind for future orders. Panda jelly was pretty good though. 2) Salted Hojicha (less ice, no sugar): -Creamy and milky, the saltiness added an extra depth of flavor. Ordering it at zero sweetness, again was a very good call, because my boyfriend who is intolerant to anything sweet said this made him ill because it was too sweet?? It ended up being my drink in the end and it was not bad overall. 3) Smoked Ham & Swiss Cheese Pockets: -Imagine those Pillsbury Crescent rolls but with smoked ham and Swiss cheese inside. Simple, delicious, and note bad for breakfast. 4) Dubai Chocolate Cake: -Our friend ended up eating this as his dessert and said it was overall okay, though a tad dry. 5) Smoked Bacon Egg & Cheese Croissant: -It's a normal breakfast croissant. Nothing to write home about. I don't mind trying this place again, just as a sit down restaurant.

I was expecting a little more of a vibrant/fun atmosphere, but it was still a nice spot to relax and enjoy brunch. Since it was a hot day, we opted for indoor seating, but the air inside still felt pretty warm and heavy, with a big fan running in the background. We ordered the Everyone's Favorite Pancakes and the Steak and Eggs. The steak and eggs were definitely the highlight--flavorful and cooked well. The potatoes, however, felt a little underwhelming; they could've used more seasoning since they were just topped with diced bell peppers and onions. The pancakes had a nice vanilla flavor and were light and easy to enjoy, especially with the ice cream I requested to be put on the side. The staff were attentive and checked in on us several times, which made the experience pleasant. Overall, I'd say this place is a solid choice for brunch, especially for group gatherings. They have plenty of drink options, and the pours are generous if you're looking for a spot with strong cocktails alongside your meal.

Kenny and the staff are extremely kind and caring, and even when the place fills up they deliver excellent service. However, I thought the food we ordered was just ok. Ordered the #1 (Breakfast burrito), #5 (breakfast sandwich). Both items' composition was not the best. They were wrapped with the wrapping paper that didn't securely hold the entire sandwich/burrito securely. Especially for the sandwich, the cheese and meat were easily spilling out from the sides. The burrito was standard, but I felt the same way more or less regarding its structure. Additionally, the flavor was ok and good at best. The meal came with red salsas, which look to be house made since it was clear there is pickled onions and some other little things in it. Honestly it is an ok salsa, I'm not sure if this particular flavor is what I'm looking for to complement a breakfast burrito normally. We had an OK experience. The restaurant seems like a fairly small shop (run by family)! While I'm all for supporting local and mom/pop shops, I probably would not wait over 15 minutes for it. Maybe will have to try the bulgogi items next time! But for breakfast burrito/sandwich it was just ok to me.

It's a cute space, although even on a Thursday afternoon, all of the tables were taken except the ones specifically marked with 'no laptops'. I tried a few things from their seasonal menu, including the Salted Maple Hojicha and the Orange Cardigan. Orange Cardigan had been specifically pointed out by a fellow Yelper who was glad to see it back, and I can see why! Not too sweet, nicely spiced and I really like the orange flavor. Drinks are great although for specialty lattes, costs quickly adds up ($0.75 for oat milk replacement so the Orange Cardigan is $8 total including tax). The avocado toast was decent and I definitely need to come back and try the croffles. Overall, I definitely see myself coming back for a nice coffee treat every once in awhile. They also seem to host events (there's a pottery pop up on Oct 30 that is full, but I'm definitely interested in future offerings!) they also sell cute things from local independent artists (stickers, etc).
