Service is great, they're always so nice. The cheese enchiladas are fire, we always get them from here. The chips and salsa are great as well. Never had a bad experience! read more

Love the tacos here and I guess thats what I should stick to. Called in my order for 3 tacos and a pork chop breakfast plate. Total was 25 and they asked if i wanted to leave a tip at drive through which i did. However when got home i realized no tortillas were provided for my plate and that my porkchops were either reheated or cooked too long. I understand prices have increased and staffing is a problem. I have no problem paying for quality food but this was not the quality Im used to from Taco Tejano. read more

We have been coming here for lunch on Wednesday's and always order the same thing. I order the cheeseburger and my husband got the enchiladas. Wonderful food. We invited some friends this Wednesday and we were so embarrassed. The waitress added French fries to 2 of my friends burger order. They did not want fries and cannot eat them for medical reasons. The waitress refused to take the fries off their check. She said, "you said you wanted everything on your burger, so I figured you wanted the fries". Each order was $2, so she ripped them for $4. No lemons for tea, no red sauce, straws are so short you must dig them out of your glass to get a sip. Then to top it off, the cashier charged us $25 for the same lunch we got last Wednesday for $16. My husband asked why it was so high, and she said she added 20% gratuity for all 6 on our check, even though each couple had their own check to pay. We tipped 20% last week, so the bill should have been $16. Never again, I hate cheating and will miss those burgers. read more

Never again. Waited 10 mins for the waitress. Apparently she was too busy talking it up with her friend and catching up to even come by and give us a menu or at least take our drink order. read more

Always fresh food, the best homemade tortillas, friendly staff and perfect flavor! Soft flour tacos will change your life.

I ordered two bean, cheese and chicharrón tacos and I got bean, cheese and chorizo so I called and they told me to go in and they would correct the order so I go in the next day to get the right tacos and when I got home I opened up the tacos and it was only chicharrón so I take the tacos back to the restaurant told them my order was still wrong and the girl takes it to the back and tells them that I wanted bean cheese and crispy chicharrón which they didn't have any so I said fine add the soft chicharrón, when I got home I opened up my tacos and it was the same thing just chicharrón! How hard is it to make a bean, cheese and chicharrón taco three simple ingredients cmon! read more

Came in to to eat for lunch, walked in and was told to order at register so we did that, I wanted a potato and egg taco, and the worker Selene stated " we have no potato's" but was very rude about it and just looked annoyed by doing her job, proceeded to order something else. Finally placed the order and as we were walking away she then yelled " you have to pay now " as in the past we always paid at the end, then snatched my card from me. Food was not good, service was terrible. My family and I will not be coming back due to how rude we were treated. read more

This place is so good they don't even have a sign out front. I do find the prices a bit higher than other places such as a dollar forty three for a bean and cheese taco when other places might be $0.99, but the drive thru is packed. The barbacoa taco was more refined and less gamey than other places. It almost tasted like pot roast, and there was no gristle or mystery parts in it. Tortillas were excellent along with the green sauce on the tables, which was spicy. The polish sausage and egg taco was good, but the eggs were white, a sign that they were mixed with a lot of milk or water. They charge for everything: onions, cheese, pico, extra salsa, and jalapenos. As mentioned earlier, the taco prices are higher than other places, but the food is very good, and I appreciate that these people should be able to charge commensurate with the food quality and flavor. So along with Taqueria Mexico Lindo, also in Seguin, I shall sample other taquerias in this mecca of fine mexican food. read more

Great tacos and service, visiting from Austin Texas for a softball tournament. We will be back for lunch.

This is a good place to get Mexican food in Seguin. This was our second visit in two days. My wife had the number 1 crispy taco and cheese enchilada and I had the number 4 crispy taco, cheese enchilada, and chalupa, both came with rice and beans. We enjoyed both combos and felt satisfied. We both liked the beans. We were told by another patron that the Migas was very good. She said she has had Migas at a lot of Mexican places in Seguin and so far this place had the best Migas. So, we came back the next day and both got the Migas. Very tasty! Glade we came back to try them. They get very busy at breakfast time and especially on the weekends so be patient with them as the staff works hard to serve you. It is worth the wait! read more

Stopped at this little gem on our way to Port Aransas. Looked up some yelp reviews for restaurants nearby. Glad we stopped in here. The hot sauce is the bomb. Carne guisada taco with cheese is definitely the way to go. The hubs got the crazy taco and its super delicious as well (it comes with all their meats, potatoes, eggs, beans and cheese.) Tacos are huge for us and well worth the price. Super fresh tortillas!! Yes please!! Definitely worth trying if you get the chance!! read more

Christina was spot on...grab a carne guisada with cheese. I woke up craving it this morning so I'm about to make the 15 minute trek to get it. Trust me, it's worth it. Best I've ever had. I can't vouch for anything other than the carne guisada with cheese and the delightful green sauce. Gotta run and grab my tacos! EDIT: The thoughts of carne guisada caused me to rush through my first run at this review. I just got back from my journey...and let me tell you, nothing has changed. Those tacos are like crack. If you have never been to Seguin, a quick glance will confirm that the number of taco shacks per capita is pretty astounding. In fact, El Taco Tejano has at least 4 competitors within a 100 yd radius. As of this writing, there was no signage outside but the parking lot was full. As a point of reference, Taco Tejano is directly across from ZDT and resides in an old Dairy Queen building (Google Maps is a bit off on location). This place meets all of my criteria (see Monterrey Cafe review) except that there are no waitresses. As an added bonus, at any given time there are at least 2 grandmas making tortillas in the kitchen the old fashioned way...no machines, no scales, just skill and a little love. Make the trip and thank me later... read more

Been coming here for years. Best tacos anywhere. Homemadeflour tortillas. Excellent hot sauce. The Barbados taco is the best anywhere. The soft flour taco with hamburger meat is amazing. Potatoes and bean taco to die for. The chorizo and egg taco. Amazing. This is not a restraint to be missed. This is the way tacos should be made. Great people. read more

They best place to get Breakfast Tacos in Seguin... Which says alot because Seguin has competition.

Their green Chile is my all-time favorite. Nice size tacos and portions. My favorite taco is carne guisada with cheese.

sucks when i order 2 tacos and they only give you a small pinch of salsa, i have to pay for another small cup of salsa every time, the food is good don't get me wrong is just the greed that gets me. Is Seguin everybody loves spicy stuff and stop being stingy. read more

Amazing tacos, tortillas are made in front of you, barbacoa is by far the best. Bacon is crispy like I like it. If you're craving good food this is the place. read more

This is a nice little place that I've been to a few times. I just found the name of this place, since there's no sign. Christina is right, it's an "old run down Dairy Queen", or a an old drive-in. Despite not a sign, it's easy to locate as it's right across the street from ZDT's Amusment Park. You order up at the counter and take a seat and wait. Oddly, there's no chips and salsa. I even asked if you could order chips, but no chips. I get two enchiladas, rice and beans. Despite being a big eater, three enchiladas would be too much. Their cheese enchiladas are just about right. The right mix of cheese, chili gravy, and grease. Not too much, not too little. The rice and beans are a good compliment to the enchiladas. There's a bottle of green hot saue on the table. And it's a pretty good taste and heat to it. Now, if they only made chips! I had the "hamburger" taco once, and it was the weak link here. Now, I stick to the enchiladas. This place breaks the trend, and takes cash and credit. Usually, the best places take cash only. read more

Best breakfast tacos in the tri county area.... The lunch menu is delishious and AUTHENTIC too !!! Home made delishious tortillas, home made salsa , and delishious filling in their tacos make this the perfect breakfast tacos! Hard to find for 1st timers (small sign), but so worth it ! Their cheeseburgers are even phenomenal and VERY filling! Made fresh from scratch daily and not even pricey. Limited seating inside of what used to be an old Dairy Queen years ago, drive thru moves along pretty good, despite being full of cars most peak times of mornings. If yer looking for the best damn breakfast tacos EVER, check em out, if you want fancy-schmancy atmosphere and white linen table cloths and waiters, stay away this place ain't for you ! In a town chock full of taco joints, this place stands tall as the best in town. read more

You'd never know it by the looks of the place, in an old run down Dairy Queen, but the tacos here are out of this world. Homemade tortillas are outstanding. My favorite is the Carne Guisada and Cheese. Be prepared that it's gonna take a while to get your tacos...this is no Taco Cabana. But they are worth the wait!! read more

Food was great. Had the huevos ranchero plate. In a new location..need to work on their service.

I have been going to Taco Tejano for about 4 years. It is the ONLY taco joint I will get my tacos from. And whenever I bring someone down from another state or city I ALWAYS make sure to go get them Breakfast Tacos. read more
