Inside the Deyes food mart. Delicious tacos and super cheap! Only .99 cents during the week between 5-10AM. I'll definitely come back

Delicious tacos! I could eat the tortillas by themselves. Fresh and great flavor! Good prices too.

Stopped in here for brunch after morning church. Absolutely LOVED this place. The interior is old and needs to be updated but it has it's own charm. Having said that - we came for the food and it did not disappoint. Large portions for a good price. Migas with Cheese was so good, eggs were fluffy, pico de gallo was fresh, beans and potatoes were served hot and were exactly what I expected with light seasoning. I also loved the salsa they provided to add to it, super good and the perfect fit for my Tex-Mex breakfast. Husband had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious! well seasoned, good batter, good gravy. Will absolutely be coming again!

What I did not expect was for these tacos to show up looking like they'd been training for a strongman competition. These things are enormous. Not "big." Not "hefty." I'm talking full‑blown California‑burrito impersonators. Each one weighs about ten pounds and could double as a doorstop. I opened the bag and immediately understood why the Uber Eats driver looked spiritually exhausted. I ordered three: * Bacon, egg, cheese & potato * Sausage, egg & cheese * Bean & cheese The bacon one... listen. Something in there was giving "mystery smoke." I don't know if it was the bacon, the potatoes, or a ghost from a BBQ pit that refused to move on, but the flavor was doing its own side quest. Not awful -- just confusing enough that I paused mid‑bite like, "What exactly am I tasting right now." The sausage one was solid, no complaints, but the bean and cheese? That one was the star. Simple, authentic, comforting -- the Beyoncé of the order. Zero drama, zero surprises, just good. And the real MVP moment: they delivered to New Braunfels. From Seguin. Through Uber Eats. That's not delivery -- that's commitment. That's "we will cross county lines to make sure you're fed." Even though one taco wasn't my vibe, I'd absolutely order again -- just with a different lineup. When the tacos are this massive and the delivery radius is this heroic, you give them another shot.

But you really can't go wrong ordering anything from tacos to enchiladas. But do yourself a favor & get a large order of salsa & chips! Yummy!!! I've only used the drive-thru, but the employees at the window are always so friendly & sweet. Now since they're so popular, the drive-thru can take a while to get through. So I suggest while you are in line, use the "call-ahead" number that's listed on the side of the building so your order will be ready when you pull up

Once our food arrived, though, things took a turn. My oldest daughter ordered bean and cheese tacos, but unfortunately, there was a hair in her food. We brought it to the staff's attention, and they immediately replaced her order and offered to take it off the bill, which we appreciated. My mom and I were both disappointed with the potatoes. They were stale, dry, and tasted like they had been reheated in the microwave. My pancakes, on the other hand, were perfect! My mom enjoyed her plate overall, aside from the potatoes. My youngest daughter ordered the chicken tender plate. She liked the tenders, but they looked a little strange. They were pale and appeared to be missing seasoning. Overall, the service was quick and the staff handled the issue with the tacos well, but the food quality was inconsistent this time around. Hopefully, our next visit will be better!
