This is a new opened restaurant and I have been wanting to give it a try so this morning we headed over! Party of 2. We were greeted and sat quickly as the only customers. It was decorated nicely, it was spotless and very warm and welcoming. The waitress was kind and very attentive. The tea was fresh and very good. We ordered: The chilequiles plate The huevos divorced A side of guisada Chips and salsa The food was heavenly. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were authentic from scratch, the food was fresh and hot. The only concern was the price. The total was $32.00. Seems steep but worth every penny for the amount of food and the quality. We will definitely return! I cannot wait to try the albondigas which is only available on the weekends !

This is my 2nd time going to El Torito, I loved everything about it, the ambiance, the cute decoration and especially the food. I had the flauta plate and my mother had Huevos rancheros. They were delicious. We went back a 2nd time, I went to the bathroom and found this (see pictures ) a sign that says " No toilet paper in the toilet" with a huge trash can in the stall, and then on the shelf a used toilet seat. !!!!! Sorry El Torito, I love you but that is nasty and reportable to the health department, which I will have to do

So, this place has been here for a long time. I remember it having a huge rocking chair in front. So we were driving around, cause the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed, due to the fair. Well, we drove past quite a few places, then decided to turn around. Stopped here, and we were not disappointed. Place has plenty of seating, and the staff was very friendly. Very clean, and pretty comfy inside. We ordered our drinks, water, lemonade, and horchata. Free refills, until the third refill. We looked at the menu, and saw some normal stuff on the menu for a Mexican restaurant, but a few things stuck out. The most interesting thing for me was the barbacoa grilled cheese sandwich. So I ordered that, boy, was that good. It came with a cup of beans and a big red. My wife and daughter shared the Birria taco plate, came with two tacos and the consommé that had a lot of meat. They had to order two more tacos. So, I went to the bathrooms, which were clean by the way, but the only thing I didn't like was that all the cleaning products were out in the open, on a shelf, a kids eye level and reach. We only have grandkids, so definitely watch them kiddos when they go to the bathroom. All in all, we would go back.

We just tried El Torito. The food was delicious and they have pozole, it was fresh and had great flavor. The iced tea taste like fresh sun tea. We had the Birria tacos and those were amazing. https://www.facebook.com/El-Torito-104850628670801/

Delicious breakfast plate of Chilaquiles & Side of Bacon. Good coffee not watered down & weak. The inside is very clean. ( Floor & tables ) etc. Very nice people. ( Apologies for the menu photos being out of order. I can't seem to get them to upload in the proper order )

    !El Torito!

Clear pride of place, as evidences by the thorough cleaning between customers, the spotless floors, the tidy kitchen and bathrooms. The host and hostess gave us a very warm greeting and even the cleaning staff were smiling and friendly. They appear to be well-run and a good team. He enjoyed the pork chops with eggs and thin soft warm house-made corn tortillas. I very much enjoyed the scrambled eggs with chorizo, melted cheese on top and salsa verde on the side. Lots of happy families coming in and out. Very nice place. Lovely staff.

Food was good. Ambience also good service good. The only thing I did not like was cinnamon in my coffee that's just the way they make it.

Why has it taken my husband and I so long to try the grilled oysters divorciados?! Holy moly are…read morethey full of so many mouth bursting flavors! They were absolutely fantastic! I am definitely ordering this as a meal next time! Everything else on their menu is fantastic! I had the quesadilla this time and was surprised it's not your typical flat quesadilla. These are fried tortillas with the fixings of a quesadilla. Mouth watering, crispy and melt in your mouth meat! This place always is a great choice!

After a fun day at Schlitterbahn, we headed to La Cosecha with the family and arrived around 7:30…read morePM. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a more polished atmosphere than I expected. We were seated quickly, and our waitress was excellent--friendly, attentive, and especially kind and accommodating with our kids throughout the entire meal. I originally wanted to order the barbacoa, but our plans changed when we tried modifying the kids' meals. We asked about adding picadillo to their bean and cheese tacos and substituting fruit for the rice and beans. We were told adding meat would be $4 per taco and fruit would be another $6, which would have more than doubled the price of the kids' meals. Rather than doing that, I ordered the one-pound fajitas with chicken and Wagyu beef so we'd have plenty of extra protein to share with the kids. The kitchen was pretty slow, but thankfully the chips were excellent and they kept them coming. The salsa was served warm with a nice amount of heat, and my oldest son absolutely loved it. In fact, the chips were apparently too good. Between the long wait and unlimited chips, my 7-year-old managed to eat enough of them that he eventually threw up. That's entirely on him--not the restaurant--but perhaps the strongest endorsement of the chips I can offer. My wife ordered the sangria swirl margarita and enjoyed it, although we were surprised by how few flavored margarita options were available. I went with a mezcal cocktail that was delicious, well balanced, and definitely wasn't shy on the alcohol. Once the fajitas finally arrived, they were excellent. The Wagyu beef came out medium rare exactly as requested, and both the beef and chicken were flavorful and well prepared. Ordering the larger portion also worked out nicely for sharing with the kids. Overall, we'd come back, although probably more readily for an adults-only dinner. The food, cocktails, atmosphere, and especially our waitress were all excellent, and the staff was genuinely kind to our children. The biggest drawback for a family meal was the lack of flexibility with the kids' menu. Some reasonably priced à la carte options or easier substitutions would make this a much better choice for families.
