Obsessed. I am ALWAYS on the hunt for breakfast burritos. After a morning hike we were feeling hungry and were looking for a new spot to try. Enter: EL TACO LLAMA! I have seen this location many times when stopping in for a donut at Mama's, but oh man I am kicking myself now for sleeping on them. When we first walked in, the restaurant was super clean...even the grill was spotless. We were the only ones in at the time, so ordering was fast. The woman who took our order was so friendly, it felt like mom was making us burritos. They had all the proper signage posted for Covid, including vaccination checks for dine-in. There are some booths available for diners inside. We ordered two Mexican style breakfast burritos, which included eggs, potatoes, beans, rice, onions and cilantro. The burrito on it's own was a little spicy. BUT THE SALSA!! Oh boy. Love love love. Both the green and red were fresh, delicious and very spicy. Salsa makes or breaks a meal sometimes, and El Taco Llama is doing it right! I also appreciated that they asked how much salsa we wanted and if we wanted chips with our meal (for free what a treat!). We will be back again for more breakfast! For two burritos, it ended up coming out to $24. Is it the cheapest around? No, but happy to support a small biz with awesome food and GREAT customer service! Note: They are cash only! ATM available inside.

Food was so good, sorry I ate it all!!

The service was good and friendly. Cash Only!!!!!! They have ATM!!The food was so delicious and the asada has good flavor and tender. I had a burrito y taco, and 3 crunchy tacos. Wow!! I want more!! My go to spot for authentic Mexican food.

This is tiny place but those are the best ones right. The meat flavor is amazing. I like this place a lot especially their burritos but the meat price increased so I don't order my usual as often I still come and get the amazing gordita. I wish I could steal the recipe for their red salsa hot sauce it's sooooo sooo good one of the best!!! Try this place out

This place has been around since I was little and never disappoints. The cook is amazing and the Kearny Asada burritos are so bomb! Juan is the BOMB

The grandkids wanted to eat here last week. Why?! Still not sure. The interior is depressingly old school, the booth seating is very uncomfortable, and the food is not that appealing either. Definitely a carb-loading place, with lots of tortillas, beans, and rice. They do offer a variety of meats, but scant nods to any veggies, at least from what I saw. My quesadilla was okay, but the runny avocado sauce (it could hardly be called guacamole) didn't do it for me. I realize that there's a family here, making a living. I wish them well, but their place didn't win me over with the minimal efforts to create a welcoming experience for guests.

Love their carne asada tacos and their nachos! The hot sauce is soooo good. I could have this everyday!

While there are a plethora of Mexican food options in the valley, it's always exciting when you find a great one! I tried the breakfast burrito this morning end it was great. The portions are pretty generous and it came with some chips which was nice. The star of the show is definitely the salsa. Both red and green are decently spicy. I think the green might be the overall winner though. The staff is super friendly and I will definitely be back for more!

I just want to thank everyone who works here at Taco Llama every time I'm come here I get treated like the owner. Service is so great and fast I can honestly say that the management has a big part in it. The cooks do a great job and food is so delicious!!! The best thing on the menu is the FRESH MENUDO !! I was fortunate enough to come in when they just started cooking and boy let me tell you!!! It was amazing!!!! Thank you so much I will definitely come back again and tell all my friends and family!!

Asada Taco....more like ground beef,or "Birria Taco". Overpriced and disappointed. Should have read the reviews. Don't recommend tacos.

Food has no flavor. Definitely better options to eat besides this place. But if you like cheap food and don't mind the flavor go for it.

Happy hour weekdays from 3pm to 7pm with a fun drink menu with a nice bar section next to the kitchen and ofcourse you gotta have menudo and pozole on the weekends. They also have hot soups (Caldos). We ordered the Taco Fiesta platter that comes with 4 tacos (protein of choice-seafood extra) and rice/beans and the chilaquilles platter with carne asada and 2 eggs sunny side up. Everything came out hot and was sooooo tasty. There seafood tacos are choice of grilled or fried tilapia or shrimp. I love there beans and rice! She had a nasty attitude and no smiles at all. I asked if they sold sopes I asked where on the meñu was it? So I can look at my options. The server told me it wasn't on the Meñu. In my head I'm like "how do you not have it on the meñu but yet sell it ?" I didn't make it a big deal but for some reason she seemed annoyed. I also asked one of the other servers if they can bring a lemonade for my daughter, she had said yes she can do that. But.. We got our food 35 mins later (keep in mind it was one plate) we were waiting on. & we still hadn't gotten our lemonade I had asked for. The cook brought us our plate & he was nice and asked if we needed anything else. I said " I asked one of the servers for a lemonade and it still hasn't been brought." & he mentioned he would let them know. Then the server comes back with an attitude and places it on the table, not even a word said. I even thanked her multiple times and nothing was said, no "you're welcome" or anything. She never even checked up on us or asked if we needed anything else. If you can't handle being a server why even work as one? Simple as that. This is what ruins a restaurant's reputation and makes people not want to go back. No tip was deserved.

From the moment your plate hits the table, you can tell you're in for something special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. In the best way! We begin taking bites and are both amazed. Me a little bit more. I really really enjoyed this burrito. Maybe because it has rice instead of potatoes, I'm not sure, but it was delicious. My wife also really enjoyed hers; she gave it a 7.5 out of 10. I give my burrito a 9/10. Our chilaquiles were a whole other story and flavor profile. The carne asada that came with it was life changing. Whatever seasoning they used on tha carne asada is perfect. My wife was deeply impressed. The sauce, the chips, the eggs, beans and rice were all very very good as well. All complimented each other very well. Plus we were meeting early which also happy hour was still happening. I think it's from 3-6. Even at 5 in the afternoon, there was no parking in the lot. And the residential parking was pretty much packed. As I had my little pup with me, we needed a table outside. It's been a while since I was seated outside. Usually it's been in the bar area. They have a back gate at the patio but it was locked. First off, the place was packed. It's been a while since it's been like that. Or maybe I've only been coming during happy hour. Also, it's somewhat seems to be a thing where you have to ask for the happy hour menus. Anyways, their items are pretty decent for prices. Drinks specials and some of the food items are worth it. We alway get a pitcher of beer for the table to share. Food wise, a couple of the ceviche. Either fish or shrimp and that's served with a tostada chip. For 12.00, it's pretty decent in size and quite tasty. Between the fish or shrimp, I prefer shrimp better. Also, two street tacos for 5.00 with many choices of protein. Lastly, the loaded fried nachos for 12.00. Let's say when they mean loaded, it was loaded. That too comes with your choice of protein which I went with the al pastor. The food was great. Reasonable price and well portioned. Plus the chips and bean dip to start off. They also accommodate some salsas with chips which is nice. Before it would alway be the bean dips and you would have to ask for the salsa. If you want fresh guacamole, they have someone that will prepare it table side to your liking. This visit, there was also the mariachi band walking around asking people if that wanted any requests. The service was great, the staffs all are amazing and friendly. My mom had the breakfast tacos (not pictured) which she liked a lot, I had the avocado toast and added ahi tuna. The toast may look small at first, but was very rich and filling. I will say I was surprised to see the tuna in lox-like strips, but maybe that's because I'm used to ahi tuna either seared or in chunks poke style. All in all, a very nice experience.
