    Roscoe and topanga taco truck
    Carey I.

Rabbit hole special on Tuesday 1.25 tacos. But grabbing some brews and spicy carne asada tacos are the perfect match for a good time long time on a Friday night. These guys are spicy and flavorful. I ask for the green sauce for an extra kick. Make sure you get them with everything. I don't know what everything is, but it sure is good. I hunted down the truck cause I think the truck tacos taste better. The inside is pretty good, but for some reason not as good as the truck. Maybe because the truck cook does something different. Always busy and never slow, I keep coming back.

My friend suggested we try this truck out because it is always poppin! He says that there are always people there. We came by on Monday night and sure enough, there were people there. They have the truck right on the corner of Sherman Way and Woodley. They line up about 10 chairs so there is some seating. I noticed most people ate in their cars because it was cold and windy. I ordered 3 carne asada, 3 carnitas and 1 tripe. My friend got 2 carne asada and 2 pastor tacos. Once we got to his house we noticed that there were 4 plates stacked. She separated the tacos by order. SO SMART! It was not a guessing game when we tried to split the tacos up. Everyone got what they wanted without having to shuffle them around. The tripe was delicious! Actually, they were all good, but tripe was my favorite. Great service and great tacos. I will be back a bunch more!

This place is the best! We go to their trucks on Sherman Way & Lindley and they have the best service & burritos. Would recommend 10/10 .

First time here, won't be coming back after I repeated my order 5 times. They messed it up. It's not hard to make 5 tacos.

We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and everything was presented really well. The enchiladas were flavorful, the grilled fish was cooked perfectly, and the tortillas with the short rib were a table favorite. Portions were great for sharing, and the sauces really tied everything together. Service was friendly and our server checked in on us throughout the night without making us feel rushed. It did get a little busy, so there were a few waits between courses, but nothing that took away from the experience. Overall Great atmosphere, solid food, and a fun place for birthdays or date nights. I'd definitely come back!!

When we…read morearrived, we were told the Dine LA menu was already sold out--which was confusing since they open at 6 PM. Our waiter then told us we needed a specific Dine LA reservation, something that was never mentioned when I called or when I made the reservation. I've been to plenty of Dine LA restaurants and have never experienced this. The service wasn't necessarily bad, but it was very dismissive. No apology, no real explanation--they basically just brushed it off. Thankfully, the food saved the night! The Michelada oysters were TO DIE FOR--seriously one of the best oyster flavors I've ever had. We also had the short rib plate, which was delicious. The outdoor atmosphere and decor are really cute too. I would come back, but ONLY for those oysters--definitely not for the service.

Yes, you get all three so no hard choices have to be made. My first impression of the beans was that they were no biggie but last night they were fire! I almost ordered a plate to take home. You have been warned the ceviche tostada has a kick but squirt some lime on it if you need to and you will survive. As for the guacamole, it's guacamole - need I say more? For my entree I went with the snapper, which came with escabeche, lime, pineapple, cilantro, green onion, and chili rub. In the past, I've strictly stuck to their small plates and I feel that's still the way to go. Nothing wrong with my snapper, I just love all the other little plates more. I went with one other person and only one piece of cheesecake came out. Supposedly it was a bigger slice but looked like an average size to me. This cheesecake is made with manchego cheese so don't expect an overly sweet treat. I did enjoy it. But, I also ordered their flan that is only available in August and I found that to be better than the cheesecake. Get both as one is limited edition. We also got the fried chicken tacos. We were told they were pretty spicy but I felt the ceviche was spicier. They were tasty but did not live up to their oxtail tacos they used to have. Also, squirt some lime on these tacos - you're welcome. This is one of my fave places to dine during peak weather season. Go check them out. Tip: street parking is available if you get there at 5 otherwise valet is $15. Trust, you do not want to park your car anywhere other than that one block where the restaurant is located.

There were many families eating dinner and many larger parties that looked like they were celebrating something special. We were all famished after fighting through LA traffic on a weeknight. I'm pretty sure we ordered at least half the items on the menu. Every dish ordered was fine, edible, not burnt but just ok. While I am by no means a connoisseur of Oaxacan food, I am perplexed at the number of reviews raving about this restaurant. It's fine, there nothing wrong with the food, but I, personally, don't think it's rave worthy. I've been here 2x now. I'll come back to a place especially when it's on a "best of" list and I wasn't impressed. I always think it may have just been a bad day or perhaps I didn't order well. Next time I see this spot on a "best of" list I'm going to find out WHAT dishes I should've ordered.
