Tried this place for the first time. I've always passed it on my way home for the last 7 years and thought I'd give it a try tonight. The young lady working the register was nice and provided exceptional service. I asked how big the burritos were before buying, and the young lady was very helpful. Initially, I wanted a Super Burrito with Carnitas, however, she'd mentioned they were out. So instead I opted for Al Pastor. Got all the way home to find out that it wasn't Al Pastor, it was just Asada mixed with what appears to be ground beef. Ended up being $20.34 including a glass bottle coke & chips/salsa. Now, the burrito was still amazing, great flavor, the salsa was spicy just as I desired. Chips were cold, but still edible. The size of the Super burrito was very filling. Just wishing I had checked somehow before leaving to make sure it was correct. I'd totally recommend this place, and will probably return in the future. I was craving some breakfast burritos and ran into this place on Yelp. Once again, Yelp did not disappoint. Was it the most amazing burrito I've ever had in my life, no... but it was pretty darn good. I called in the order and picked up the burritos a few minutes later on my way home. It's a small place with outside seating. Nothing fancy, but they have a pretty good selection on the menu besides just breakfast. The breakfast burritos are pretty big and I really liked the red and green hot sauces that they have. We tried a sausage breakfast burrito and a chorizo breakfast burrito (I added avocado and cheese--kinda surprised it wasn't served with cheese). My boyfriend really liked the sausage burrito and the chorizo was pretty good--a little greasy, but that's pretty normal for chorizo. I would come here as a teenager and get their "El super burrito" with beef. It's a solid tasty burrito. Today, however, I went for the Machaca breakfast burrito. It has an excellent marriage of flavor and texture. Top this champ with red or green sauce and you'll enjoy it till your last bite. Prices are a few dollars cheaper than at similar places, but the portions aren't any smaller. In particular, the burritos are more than twice the size of those I've found elsewhere! Also, the service is quick, and the staff are polite and friendly! Particularly given their massive portion sizes. Their most popular item seems to be the super burrito-- which is a massive (as pictured) wet burrito. I had mine with their grilled shrimp. I've lived here for over 10 years and this was my first visit. At first I was bothered that they only accepted cash but, I wanted to see how the food was so I went to go get cash at my bank. When I returned I found the prices to be great compared to other Mexican food places. I ordered the chorizo and potatoes plate, chilaquiles plate and a Ham burrito. Food was great, beans are delicious rice is ok . My plates both came with tortillas they were a little over cooked but still enjoyed them with my plate. The chorizo potatoes were great and have amazing flavor. The chilaquiles were amazing too. The restaurant offered only outside seating but it is really nice and it's covered. Birds are brave so watch out for them lol they get really close and try to steal food given the opportunity. Plants add a cool atmosphere. But overall I loved my experience. read more

I found the place by accident. I don't generally eat Mexican food because it just isn't on my RADAR. I lived with an Italian cook for over 15 years who was quite versatile in the kitchen, but occasionally needed or wanted a quick fix that was high in protein and easy to get down. Burritos, taquitos, tacos... meats and vegetables mixed with a gravy called sofrito were sometimes all he needed. El Super Burrito is on the path of my nightly walks. Imagine how odd it sounds to go on a healthy walk and stop by a burrito stand! It is a cash only establishment and there is a working cash machine in a small, covered area that has picnic tables. I have seen workers and families eat here and everyone seems happy. The window also does an enormous amount of carry out and it advertises its service for catering. I pretty much order the same thing every time I am there. Two tongue tacos please. They each come in two-ply, soft, corn tortillas. I ask them told hold the salsa and cilantro (they wind up giving it to me in a cup) and they add hot fresh corn chips on the side. The food is very good and the service is friendly. I can order in English or in Spanish and the responses are appropriate and clear. The pricing is competitive and fair (come on, have you seen how much eggs cost in a store?). I've also had huevos rancheros and a bean and cheese burrito. I've never been disappointed. As I had mentioned, there is space to eat out as well as an option take away the meal. Considering the number of Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood (including the fast food shops such as Taco Bell or Del Taco), I believe that El Super Burrito stands out as an excellent food value for your dollar. read more

The only thing "super" about this place is in their name. I've probably passed by this place over a thousand times and I've never tried it. Out of the blue one night, my brother suggested trying this place and I wasn't opposed to it so we did. We both had their "super" burrito with pork, and sadly we both agreed that this was the worst burrito we've had in our lives. No flavor whatsoever, they probably don't even have the actual spit that rotates while grilling the meat; they probably just grilled some meat and threw some flavoring on top. The red sauce on top of the burrito had more flavor than the pork. If this tells you anything, I almost never waste my food but I stopped eating after about 2/3's of it. Revolting. Honestly, I think all the rave reviews on yelp come from people who are either drunk or stoned.
