I've had some good food here, but my recent experience was just average. Got the fish tacos, outside of the sauce, the breading and fish weren't that flavorful. Inside they keep it pretty cold, so if you don't have a jacket, you might be chilly. The service was acceptable, nothing too special though. Overall, not too bad. Solid 3.5

They are not a food stand anymore. The restaurant is in downtown Ennis and the phone number listed here is the same. Please call them for updated hours if you want to be sure.

We found it on our drive back from Dallas to Houston, just a couple of minutes off I-45, and worth the quick detour. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the pizza had that authentic New York-style feel. We also tried the pasta, which was delicious, and the calamari was decent as well. We didn't order a huge variety, but everything we had was flavorful but kudos on the cheese pizza. Kids loved it If you're looking for great pizza or a decent place to eat instead of Taco Bell or subway or some fast food restaurant while traveling through the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

I know Ennis is small but I have been to Napolis in Corsicana and some places in Waxahachie - Olive Garden has nothing on this place. My husband always gets spaghetti with meat sauce and extra meat sauce my son usually gets chicken fettuccine and I will either get chicken Parmesan or Picatta. All of the food is super delicious cooked to perfection and generous portions. If you get a salad make sure you ask for the house dressing it is incredible how they have taken Italian dressing with a little marinara and oh my goodness it is truly delicious and so very fresh!

One of two places it looks like to eat in Founders Row. Came with a group of 7. We stood around the bar height tables and had drinks for about an hour before finally sitting down. The bartender took great care of us despite the size of the group and ensured we had everything we needed. Once we sat down, the real magic happened. We ordered a few apps for the table, calamari, spinach and artichoke dip and alligator bites. I only had some of the artichoke dip and some of the complementary smoked salmon dip they brought out. Didn't want to be too full for the catfish plate I ordered. The artichoke dip was made with smoked Gouda and was great. The other apps got great comments from other people in the party. I ordered a fried catfish plate that came with grilled shrimp, coleslaw and fries. Catfish was cooked perfectly and the grilled shrimp were delicious, great seasoning. The coleslaw is made with cabbage, green bell pepper and apple cider vinegar. Really great combo that worked well. Service was great especially for our large party. Our server who was also the bartender because we sat in the bar area kept a fresh soda water in front of me the entire time, never had to ask. The manager/owner? even stopped over to check in on us a couple of times. Stop in for a great meal, I wish I could return to try the crawfish etoufee.

It's always packed, so I figured it had to be worth trying, and it definitely was! The restaurant is located in a great shopping plaza with an Asian market, boba shops, bakeries, and other stores, making it a fun area to explore before or after your meal. We were seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant had a fun, energetic atmosphere with great music playing, making it the perfect spot for a girls' night. We started with a few appetizers: garlic noodles, Kickin Wings, and raw oysters. I didn't personally try the oysters, but my friend really enjoyed them. The Kickin Wings were my favorite appetizer! They were hot, crispy, and packed with flavor. The garlic noodles were just okay in my opinion, but the shrimp added to them was delicious. For our seafood boils, we ordered the Special Combo, which included 1/2 lb head-off shrimp, 1/2 lb snow crab, one potato, and sausage for $34.99, with the option to add more items for an additional charge. The seafood was fresh, well-seasoned, and flavorful. My only minor complaint was that the boil bag felt a little small, making it a bit difficult to really dig in and mix everything together the way I like. Overall, we had a great experience! The food was delicious, the service was friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and it was the perfect place to catch up with friends over seafood. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm craving a seafood boil. Would definitely recommend!

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED
