So happy to finally have a seafood boil restaurant this amazing in town!!! Came with my bestie on a busy Friday night, and the service was FAST! Let me start with every employee here was so kind, our server I didn't catch his name but he was so attentive to us and explained everything on the menu! Not pictured was the spring rolls and fried rice (we was EATINN) but every single thing was amazing! The drinks are AFFORDABLE! And the seafood was amazing! We got the medium (can't remember if it's called house blend or kitchen sink) but the seasoning was too good! We left full! 10/10

Legendary Special

I went to Cajun Bros for my 22nd birthday and I am already planning to go for my 23rd! This place was delicious, seafood tasted fresh and it was very well seasoned! The legendary special came with so much food i had leftovers for the next day, that special can easily feed 4 people! Spice level hot has the perfect amount of heat for this boil but, if jalapeños are very spicy for you i wouldn't recommend this spice level. Extra hot is delicious as well and has quite a kick especially when the potatoes are soaking up all the flavor on the bottom of the bag! The place itself is very spacious and inviting, i will definitely be back!

Incredibly delicious! Had to order another pound of the crab. Perfect amount of spice and flavor.

Food was delicious. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Lots of flavor and a great fry on the fish and shrimp. Going to try the boil next time as it looked delicious coming out to the tables next to us.

Our food was delicious. Nothing to complain about when it comes to the food. BUT. I placed my order online for pick up. My bill was almost $300. So we paid $200 cash and the rest with my card. When I paid with my card it gave me the option to leave a tip which I didn't. What I didn't realize was that they added a $33 tip for a pick up order! I didn't realize until I got home but that doesn't seem right to me. You get a tip for serving me not for me picking up my food. So for that I only have them 3 stars.

Kids, chicken nugget meal

The food was cold the server was rude. Food took almost an hour and server gave us candy to hold us over. It was loud. Not peaceful at all.

Local family owned spot inside of a renovated church. Place has tons of charm with many original…read moreelements intact, but modern at the same time. One of two places it looks like to eat in Founders Row. Came with a group of 7. We stood around the bar height tables and had drinks for about an hour before finally sitting down. The bartender took great care of us despite the size of the group and ensured we had everything we needed. Once we sat down, the real magic happened. We ordered a few apps for the table, calamari, spinach and artichoke dip and alligator bites. I only had some of the artichoke dip and some of the complementary smoked salmon dip they brought out. Didn't want to be too full for the catfish plate I ordered. The artichoke dip was made with smoked Gouda and was great. The other apps got great comments from other people in the party. I ordered a fried catfish plate that came with grilled shrimp, coleslaw and fries. Catfish was cooked perfectly and the grilled shrimp were delicious, great seasoning. The coleslaw is made with cabbage, green bell pepper and apple cider vinegar. Really great combo that worked well. Service was great especially for our large party. Our server who was also the bartender because we sat in the bar area kept a fresh soda water in front of me the entire time, never had to ask. The manager/owner? even stopped over to check in on us a couple of times. Stop in for a great meal, I wish I could return to try the crawfish etoufee.

There's also an easy-going ambiance reminiscent of that Crescent City charm with a menu and service to match. We were delighted to see so much of the late David Wilson's cuisine on the menu from his Cedar Hill restaurant. His son Shawn has a jewel here and it was tough to decide on an entree. There are many enticing newer items. Special menu items included a Spinach Artichoke Dip, Steelhead Trout, and even Grouper! Our waiter, Tanner, was very kind and helpful. Eventually I ordered an old favorite, the Fried Seafood Platter with Fried shrimp, scallops, and catfish that came with a Remoulade, a sweet and spicy Cocktail Sauce and a delicious Tartar Sauce. Substitutions were not a problem and of the sides, I ordered the sautéed Spinach and a potato cake! My husband was easy. Wilson's Pot Roast was calling him. Cooked with Cajun seasoning and slow roasted, it's served with mashed potatoes, celery, carrots, fried onions and gravy. He also wanted some Jalapeño Hush Puppies. There was virtually no wait for our food or so it seemed. Our food arrived and it was terrific, first bite to last. Odd that I would enjoy a vegetable so much but the spinach was excellent and it disappeared. All of my Seafood was perfectly fried with even my shrimp tails edible - nice and tender and crunchy. The potato cake was also yummy. I haven't had one in some time. That thin fried shell with the creamy tasty interior ... My husband was over there seemingly playing in his fried onions and gravy. I had to laugh. And then try some. Ooooh. So good. He couldn't stop eating them. And the roast beef! Very tender and a huge portion. We were definitely impressed with our first outing. The restaurant is beautiful. A gorgeous bar takes up one side of room. There are tables with pews for seating, and others with a singular banquette on one side and chairs on the other. These tables can be moved. There are two unisex restrooms. Everything was very clean. The "Revival Tent" patio is equipped with fans and lighting and would be nice in almost any weather. There is ramped handicapped access in front. We're coming back soon. I was impressed with the environs, pricing, portions, quality and especially the service.

As soon as I walked in, I had a feeling that this was going to be much better than I would expect for a strip mall restaurant. We ordered the pork pot stickers, lamb dry hotpot, and the karage ramen. The pot stickers were perfectly cooked, crispy on the bottom, good chew, and great flavor. The lamb dry hotpot was a kingly meal. The presentation was impressive and the exquisite variety of ingredients made this a meal to remember. The karage ramen was lackluster, I would wager their other ramen options are better. The atmosphere was pretty good and the service was excellent. Overall, if I lived in Waxahachie, I would be a regular here.

It's that type of hole in the wall place that has you knowing it's going to be something. It served a wide variety of Asian dishes from Vietnamese to Japanese to Chinese to Thai, but I wager at its core it's Chinese. We started with the pork potstickers, and they were fantastic. It's hard to find places that cook the outside correctly with crisp on the bottom and chew on top, but Fun did it perfectly. My bf got the lamb dry hot pot, and it looked stellar. He got a lot of food for the money and really enjoyed it. I would recommend if you could handle spice. I tried the Chicken Karaage Ramen, and found it lacking. It tasted like eating pure grease, and though the Karaage was alright, it was weighed down heavily by the broth. The noodles were noticeably homemade, though. Overall, we would recommend coming here.

Instead, one came sickeningly sweet with an unlisted cinnamon syrup, and the other still had a strong cinnamon taste. When we questioned this, the server casually mentioned the cinnamon syrup--something not disclosed on the menu. I had to specifically ask her to take one back rather than her responding promptly. Next, they brought our sushi rolls, but no plates, no soy sauce, and not even dishes for dipping. We had to ask for all those basics. I specifically chose two rolls without cream cheese--because I don't want cream cheese in my sushi--and yet one still had it. The server's response was to chat with a manager but not to offer any solution, compensation, or correction. Overall, if a menu lists certain ingredients, that's what should arrive. Adding things like cinnamon in a drink or cream cheese in a roll--especially when people might have dietary needs--is careless. They need to be more attentive to both the menu and the customer's feedback.
