Everything was piping hot and delicious! Wish they never left Kiel and would come back.

Excellent food. Service is a bit slow but friendly. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. It is our favorite Mexican in the area.

Awesome steak enchiladas! The steak fajitas were amazing too! They have drink specials most nights with drinks under $5.00.

I knew I was in for a treat when my friend from El Paso described Cocina Mi Familia as "legit."…read more This was a five star experience through and through. I ordered two carnitas tacos and one lengua taco all of which were on point! The meat was tender and flavorful with a green and a red hot sauce served on the side that added just the right amount of heat and a nice added boost of flavor. They were served with onion and cilantro true to the street taco experiences I grew up with in Tucson. The rice was fresh - none of those surprise "crispy" grains that signal rice that has either been sitting out or reheated. The refried beans were fantastic and also reminded me of home. Even the horchata was amazing. Although the food was a standout what struck me most was the cleanliness of the restaurant. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms all signal that this restaurant cares about details. Even the hot sauce bottles (which I am used to seeing cakes with old drips and drops) were absolutely spotless. I truly believe that things like this matter and suggest that the kitchen is also in good shape. Tye menu was a bit large and could be somewhat overwhelming so much so that I didn't bother to read everything. Besides - I already knew what I wanted. Service was friendly, prompt, and accurate. This place is an absolute MUST for when I return to Sheboygan and it receives two enthusiastic thumbs up from both me and my friend from El Paso - and both of us are experts on good Mexican food.

Food was very good, but our server circled back one time. He came to take my plate away, but never cleared my husband's, came to give us our check without asking if he could get us anything else. My husband interjected we wanted dessert. Very politely, our server said he would put that in. Some time went by and no server or dessert. Frustrated, we paid our check from the table. Just as I finalized the charge, our server appeared and anxiously stated he would get our dessert to go. Fine. We waited and a server came out and gave our dessert to the table behind us ,- even though they were saying it wasn't theirs. End of story.

The Oldtimer w/cheese burger was cooked correctly but dripped grease on the paper-lined tray, the bottom bun was so soaked with grease I removed it right away, the top bun only slightly better & I finally removed that and ate the beef patty with a fork. The fries were hard. Three of us didn't eat them; the other 3 in our group said theirs were fine. When we paid, we mentioned the fries to our server. She said perhaps they left them under the heat lamp too long. We arrived around 3p.m. and I think those fries were leftovers from the lunch service. This was not my first visit here, but I'll think twice about coming back after today's food.

Good to see Harry's Diner (at Interstate) open again. Perfect stop on the way back from Door County…read morefor us and open on Monday. Swedish pancakes aren't quite as light (we've gotten used to something more crepe-like) as we'd prefer but still great. Also some menu additions with Mexican/Spanish influences which we gave a shot with the Barcelona Breakfast (a rice skillet). Nice touch with the breakfast links cut into coins and browned crispy (but not dry) to top the skillet. You can dial the size of your breakfast as you'd like. For example with the pancakes, one, two, or three, and for biscuits and gravy, one or two. Love the complete renovation that's brighter with new booths and bathrooms. There's a full on bar too but difficult to take advantage of while on the road. (Gotta stay sharp through that Milwaukee area construction).

What we got wasn't great but l'm hesitant to generalize it to all the good because looking around. People were eating with gusto! We both ordered the Farmer's Breakfast because it contained ingredients eggs-actly what we wanted. Unfortunately it was very dry and kind of tasteless. The potatoes were overwhelming and were not crispy fried at all. So while I'm not complaining of oily hash browns, it certainly needs some oil or butter in the preparation. I saw someone with an actual skillet of breakfast and maybe that would be more to my liking. I would probably come back next time I'm visiting Sheboygan and give them another chance. Hopefully, I just chose wrong on a menu of so many options! PS the mixed drinks were quite reasonably priced, and they even had two HUGE glass jars of homemade liqueurs. But u don't drink much and certainly not this time of day, lol!

Vanilla cold foam is the cherry on top if it didn't already come with marching cherries as garnish! It was super sweet and creamy, so if that's your vibe, it's so worth it. Walking in was a bit flustering only because the wind gusts were a little disoriented so fixing your hair once inside was mandatory. I was meeting a group so waiting to be seated didn't really apply to me. I found a high chair and booster seat myself for my table after putting in my drink order. It's things like that where someone else noticing the need really makes a difference but if you got to figure it out yourself, you will. Having worked in the service industry, I felt like the waitress did her job and not much more. I think that waitresses are heavily apart of the experience and it goes past just taking and dishing out orders. Having already making a decent tip from the large group, I feel like a more positive attitude could have boosted it immensely. Even though there was a game, it was not super busy. For some reason the food doesn't impress me here. I think everything is really over saturated in salt. There was a mix up with the wedges I ordered instead of my fries and it was fixed immediately. I got the Mac Burger that had bacon on it, it was huge, the bacon was thick but half of it was fat, the Mac and cheese was like white velvita that had been fried on one side before plopped on. The place did easily manage space for the 14 of us, it seemed like a clean establishment, and the moist disposable towelets were a nice touch on the way out.
