Wait, did I mention we had the most wonderful cheese curbs as an appetizer? Worth ordering but only if you split a sandwich!! There are a handful of booths in the front area along with seating along the bar. TVs in the main room. There is also a back room that would hold maybe another 40 people. This tavern has been in place for years under different names. I would love to hear the history. They even has Sprite Zero so I couldn't have been happier. We ordered a double cheese burger, two sides of fries, and a double cheesesteak burger. This was essentially just a slightly larger and thicker burger. Both were excellent and were able to customise to our heart's delight! The fries were a little under seasoned for my liking, but salt and pepper were available. The ranch wasn't anything special, just premade from a pouch. The special of the day was a burger and cup of soup/chili, and I think we definitely were missing out there. It was super popular in the time we were there and the chili smelled incredible. And considering how hot the day was, it must have been really good for people to keep ordering it. When it came time to close out or check, we realised there was a "cash only" sign on the register. I'm usually really good about seeing these things ahead of time or looking for them on the door. So I apologise if it was posted upon entry, as well, but I did not see any signage for that other than at the register. Thankfully they do have an ATM on site inside if needed. Called store...employee apologized profusely but couldn't do anything and would leave a note for manager to call me next day. No phone call. Stopped in and the manager advised because it was the next business day, she could not help me but had to send in paperwork to corporate! Didn't care I had pictures cshowing just the bun. For a $6.49 burger. I was advised it would take a few weeks to,process! Several weeks have gone by with no word from them so I am posting this review To let everyone know that service is just as important as good food.
