We have NO idea why so many people bad mouth this buffet! It's an AUCE buffet that is under $10! Seriously! And it included the drink! We've been here 2x and we'll keep going back .. It's a wide variety of interesting foods, latin, asian, american, hibachi, seafood, salads, desserts! It's like going to another country without the expense :) The staff is super friendly (though most don't seem to speak much English) .. It's clean and the food is pretty well stocked .. Four of us went yesterday and we tried just about everything there .. ONLY negative is that the signs above the food aren't always correct, some aren't in English, and some have no labels at all .. But we're daring and we tried most of it!! Give them a shot! * Also FYI .. Both times we went were during the week .. One around 4pm and other around 7pm ..

These are Puerto Rican tamales called "pasteles" to the left and regular tamales to the right.

I don't understand why this place doesn't have better reviews. First, I came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch, so the price for lunch on the weekends is 11.99 (outside says 8.99) so just be aware the weekend price is different. You pay before you eat just like Sweet Tomatoes or other Buffet places. They have so many food choices here and they are GOOD. It is Latin style buffet mainly so you've got malanga, plantains, yellow rice, white rice, tamales(banana wrapped and so good!), pasteles, ropa vieja, salad (they have plain shredded cabbage which i loved), etc. For dessert, I had tres leches! I noticed as well they have some sushi options and ceviche, but that was the only thing that was not good, so I wouldn't eat those. Aside from that, servers were friendly and over all we had a nice experience here. Maybe they offer better food options for the weekend? I will definitely be back.

I have seen this place turn over several times. Now it is a Spanish buffet. No one really speaks English there so when you order your hibachi you got to take it like they cook it for you. Furthermore, many time I have seen the buffet tables way under temperature and the food cold. The worst part is that everytime I go it feels like I am walking inside a church because they play religious music. If I wanted to go to church I would go to a church not a restaurant. In addition, this is not the first restaurant the owner has owned. Unfortunately, 90% of all the restaurants they have owned have closed down. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that this restaurant has nothing to do now with El Gran Palacio.

This is my mother in law's favorite restaurant. We had a crowd of 15 people for lunch. I like that the buffet has a wide variety of Hispanic food along with Chinese and American. The staff was a bit disorganized, it could have been because of the size of our table. The food was decent. Like any buffet, some dishes tasted great and others not so much. The restaurant wasn't as clean as I'd prefer and there was only one working toilet (out of 4). I also think they could have used 2 hibachi cooks, since it was backed up. Also, the dessert options were slim and the ones available were not very good.

All the food was cold and looked like it had been reheated not freshly made. And it wasn't as clean as one would think.

The food wasn't restaurant quality and the service was mediocre even though there were more employees than customers.

They asked me for a tip before I even sat down. Not much variety and not great food. I miss the buffet that used to be there.

The food was horrible. All fried and greasy. Everything was old and at room temperature. It was really disgusting. We will never return.

We came mid-afternoon, and while I did see some fresh food coming out, some of what was there was looking dry (the chicharrones, in particular.) The lunch special includes a choice of rice, a protein (I got two large honey-glazed ribs) and a vegetable (mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon mixed in for me.) I added a scoop of pinto beans on the rice. The meal was so large, the to-go box containing it wouldn't close. (They have plates for those eating in (which we did), the lady didn't ask us which we wanted.) The ribs were well-cooked and tasty; rice and beans were good, the cheese and bacon didn't help the mashed potatoes much. My wife had trouble getting what she wanted in the pernil department: there wasn't any nice crispy skin left, just either flabby or hard; and she had trouble getting the lady to pick the nice fatty pieces of meat she tried to point out. There was a good variety of desserts too, though the chocolate tres leches I picked didn't change my low opinion of tres leches in general. Counter service.

Everything tastes homemade, the portions are huge, and the prices are unbelievably low for the quality. Truly a hidden gem that deserves way more attention.

Luckily, it looked like the brunch crowd was thinning out so we were able to get a table without a reservation. Bulla serves tapas style meaning you should probably get at least two items if you are not sharing with the table. Looking at the menu, my husband and I both realized that if you are going to get three items each, it really was the best value to get the Brunch Prix Fixe for $32 although it did seem like a lot of food. In hindsight, we probably should have shared one Brunch Prix Fixe and then got one or two other items as I ended up taking food home. There is also a Bottomless Sangrias and Mimosas for $23 but we aren't big drinkers. I did get a hot tea though. For the first course, I ordered the Potato Tortilla and my husband ordered the Sopa de Garbanzo Frita. As soon as they arrived, I realized it was going to be too much food because each one was huge. My potatoes were very thinly sliced and soft and delicious, especially with a swipe of the garlic aioli. My husband liked his chickpea soup but did say it was a little spicy. It also comes with a poached egg in the soup. That was another thing - most of the Prix Fixe items, especially the second course, come with either fried or poached egg and I only eat scrambled which made it hard to choose the next course. I got the Chicken and Waffles which came with three thin breaded chicken fillets sandwiched between super fluffy waffle quarters, served with a rosemary maple syrup. It was all so good, that you could eat the chicken and the waffles without the syrup if you wanted but I used the syrup for the herby flavor. I took home two of the waffle quarters and one piece of chicken for a waffle sandwich at home. My husband's braised pork hash was also really good, and came with another poached egg. For the final sweets course, we both ordered the Hazelnut Waffles (yes, yes, I know, I ordered two waffle dishes in a row). These were so yummy, just slathered with Nutella, whipped white chocolate cream, and chocolate chips. All in all, a great brunch!

Everything was explained extremely well and throughout the entire meal it felt like if I needed something someone would be there. I sat at the hightops near the bar. Comfortable, casual, ready to eat. The course started with a sangria: Red, white, or beer. Wait, what... beer? Okay, that's new to me. New enough to not even think of the others....and, it worked. The beer was more of a light aftertaste. Nothing like I would have imagined. I started with the TOMATILLO HUMMUS - Tomatillo salsa, jalapeño, fried chickpeas, coca slices. Tasty and more filling than I thought it would be. Following that was the TRUFFLE CARBONARA - Linguini, wild mushrooms, bacon, garlic cream, green peas, poached egg. A great version of a carbonara dish! If this wasn't my one meal of the day, I would have been taking half of it home with me. To end the adventure I went for the CHURROS CON CHOCOLATE - Traditional fried dough, chocolate sauce, dulce de leche. A perfect way to conclude the dinner. Not too big, but certainly not too small either. Yes, I'll be back -- and not just myself next time!

This place is really hidden, I mean I went to middle school not far from there and never knew it was there. Walking in, Pa'lla Voy gives me the same feeling as a small mom and pop shop. They do plate lunches and more there. Truly a variety and personable feeling when you walk in. They're located at 1732 Rinehart Rd, Sanford, FL. I ordered the fried fish with mac salad and sweet plantains. I was really split between the plantains and the rice, however, the owner was so sweet that she threw it in for me anyway. She gave me a huge cup by the way without charging me extra just so I could try it. They had a whole case of desserts too, and honestly who can say no to a giant portion of flan? I paid about $25 for the whole meal and it was definitely enough for two meals. The fish was a fresh fried tilapia topped with onions. You have to eat it fresh, but it was so crispy and flavorful. The mac salad was fresh with bell peppers and a good palate cleanser when eating fried food. The plantains are a good staple. The rice really stole my heart though. It was so good. I would rate the plate an 8.5/10. I also got tamarind juice, which I would rate at a 8.5 as well. Overall, I would rate them an 8.5/10 and recommend anyone in the area to give them a try. They are so sweet and the food is good and a lot for what you're paying.
