This was supposed to be red snapper with rice and beans.

They fucked up the order. I asked for mofongo con camarones, all I got was the shrimp, no mofongo. Ordered the whole red snapper with rice and beans, all I got was the snapper with plain rice. This place becomes a club after a certain hour and that's where their head is at. Good is the last thing on their mind.

Don't let the picture fool you, very juicy pernil with flavor and crispy skin

So far the best pernil I've had in Orlando that they actually listened to what I said. They gave me juicy dark meat and crispy cuero. Now THATS real lechon, their fries were fresh and crispy.

The food is always good! The vibes are as well. They have Instagram and Facebook with pictures and events weekly! A must if you're in Orlando and enjoy Hispanic vibes.

Horrible experience. Everything was on the empty side. The rice was SUPER HARD. The meat was mediocre. I don't understand how the other reviews are decent. We even told the woman working there and she still gladly took our debit card to charge us lol we barely touched our food. The is from the buffet. Maybe the menu food is better but super overpriced.

$4.99 exotic latin food buffet! What can I say, you gotta try it at least once! They have pigs feet, gizzards, lechon (roasted pork), chitlins/chitterlings! I just realized that puerto rican food is very similar to filipino food . We'll be back for sure

The food sucks, everything is really greasy, doesn't have any flavor. Honestly I would never come back here.

For dancing this place is awesome! The food is suspect but good enough to eat. You can't go wrong with a buffet.

My husband and I both got sick eating here. The food was also unremarkable and the music was depressing.

Located in a strip mall in the heart of East Colonial, parking was easily found. We opted for the loiza tray to share as a starter platter. They were all tasty and who doesn't love an assortment of fried appetizers? We also shared the main dish, the roti kan kan at the recommendation of our server since it includes both of the cuts of their main specialty dish, the porchetta. This was the standout of the night, especially the crispy pork skin on the outer covering of the pork belly. Would describe the inside as elevated casual, with a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Service was friendly. We just thought it was slightly priced on the higher end for what you got . Would return but order different dishes to try out the rest of th menu.

The fried chicken wasn't bad, it had flavor and the tostones were nice and crispy. We didn't care for the rest though. The arroz con gandules was the driest I have ever had! The carne frita/maditas de cerdo had NO seasoning. I was so shocked! They tasted like unseasoned pork and oil! I was so disappointed because I wanted those so bad. The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately for us it was a big miss. The ladies working there didn't look happy to be there but neither would I if I had to work in those conditions! It was like a sauna!

The lady at the register was patient with me as I stumbled through my broken Spanish. She didn't suggest switching to English, so I must have been speaking reasonably well. So I ordered the carne frita (fried pork) with a side of tostones. When I go to any Latin restaurant, I have to try the tostones. Ever since Rice & Beans closed I've been on the quest for some good tostones. Piñones' tostones (no rhyme intended) were decent, but not quite what I hoped for. The star of the meal was the carne frita. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. I'll likely try it again in a mofongo.

The staff were kind and even helped us pick what to order. The food, although sometimes came out a tad bit overcooked, was still really delicious. Now you might be wondering: "Why is your review so low if the food and service was great?" It's very simple. They have a photographer who goes to every table and asks to take a picture with you. You can deny of course, but if you do accept, just know that they will also throw in AI-generated versions of the photo that they took of you and your guests or family. To some people, this might not matter, but to someone heavily against Generative AI and understands the harm it does to the every-day person, this immediately soured my mood. Do the owners mean any harm by it? Probably not, but I cannot support a restaurant that blatantly used generative AI. Once again, the food, service, and atmosphere are all great! The Generative AI photos they took of me and my family, not so much.

They do have a little canopy area with tables and seating, but it's so hot to be outside I opted to wait and eat in my car. We waited about 30 minutes before receiving our food and once we received it you could tell everything was freshly made. We ordered a combo that came with 2 pinchos, 2 pieces of bread, 2 orders of loaded fries,2 mofongo balls. And 2 drinks. The pincho meat is big meaty chunks and well seasoned. These were some of the biggest pinchos I've found in Orlando and the price was really reasonable. The loaded fries were ok, just typical fries with bacon and cheese. These mofongo balls had good seasoning, they weren't dry at all, and the perfect portion. The garlic bread was good as well and was soft. Overall everything was great! The seasoning on all the food was perfect, the portions were more than enough, and the prices extremely reasonable. The only negative I have to say is that it took long for us to receive the food but everything was freshly made and I appreciate all the hard work they do during the extremely hot fl summer.
