This place has been one of my favorites for a few years. I got a combo for $11 and some change and they filled it to the max, enough for my son and I to share and be stuffed. Pernil, rice and beans, plantains never fails. It's such a great place to come for a quick hot plate. We came during the week in the late afternoon and it wasn't very busy and we got our food quick.

Stopped in for lunch. It's all cafe style. Some dishes had no clue, lol. Got the pork with rice and black beans and not sure what the other side was. It was very good, only turn off was the few hair still on the pig skin. Also got the cucumbers which I enjoyed. Had to get the Chicharron, enjoyed it and love the crispy skin

Great spot for a quick meal with a heaping serving for a good price. It's cafeteria style here. My husband ordered this food and I was surprised how fast he had his food and paid. It was very good and flavorful. There's a good amount of tables. The parking is alright. It seems that it use to be a gas station so it was nice parking under the shade. It looks like there's at least 3 or 4 locations in Orlando.

Woah! The Cuban girl in me knew she wanted Cuban food and thought I wanted pernil, but then I saw they had ropa vieja. It is cafeteria style offering a combo platter of your choice of meat at different prices, your choice of rice, and an appetizer. Meats choices were a lot! Masitas de puerco, bistec encebollado, pernil, ropa vieja, chicharon (huge), even teriyaki chicken. Rice choices were white, con gandules, Chinese, yellow. They had red beans. Appetizers were plátanos, and many other offerings. My huge plate was $13. They also have a pastry case that includes tres leches, flan, flancocho and more. Casual and very Spanish style with dudes trying to sell you stuff in the parking lot from air pods, shirts & desert. Go for the food and pasteries inside. The flan was sooo good.

This is my 3rd week coming here before my grandson's tee-ball practice. I come here to get my crispy pork (chicharrón) and munch on while I watch his practice. Services is fast and polite. The ambiance is very relaxed, at least at this time of day. Their food is delicious. Corner of Dean Rd and E Colonial Dr.

If you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican and Cuban bites, this would be my highest recommendation. They have an incredibly large selection of entrees and sides that are fresh and ready to serve for a quick and delicious meal. Their catering is also a great option and very competitively priced. High Recommended!

On my way to hang with a few friends, and decided to grab some food. So I went ahead and stopped the misplaced after passing by a few times, but never ever knew that I wouldn't be going inside. So I went inside, and I realized that the food was assembly line with the fact that some of this restaurant food was about to go to waste because they were just about closing in a few minutes. So I just put in my order told him what I wanted, grab the food and then the price wasn't bad and I can't lie. The food is pretty good as well. I'm not sure if I would've certainly come back because it's not on my side of town, but I will say that it's worth it if I'm looking for a solid quality plate of food.

Yum! Just like el palacio de los jugos en Miami.

Lots of selection of latin food. Reminds me of Blue Sky food by the pound in Miami. Hard to choose what to order. They have desserts too. Dine in or takeout like we did. Reasonable priced for the amount of food you get. Good value.

A big Five Stars for this tasty authentic Puerto Rican restaurant located in Orlando, FL. This is our go to for delicious food. They have everything you can think of and more. I think I've tried everything here, but my favorites are the pork chops, arroz gondolas, pastel en hoja, yuka, potato salad, chicharon, etc. Everything is so good! If you can't find it here, you're not gonna find it! The servings are big as well. I can typically eat at least twice from one order. The service is quick and friendly. The restaurant always seems clean and inviting. This is a must try while in Orlando!

Receipt we paid for a take out not dine in. Note 30% tip was added by the cashier Yurdis not by us. BEWARE! Check your receipts!

BEWARE!!! My elderly mother bought 2 combo orders of oxtail with rice and plantain as takeout. That alone cost her almost $50. When she showed me the receipt, I noticed that there was a 30% tip added which was not authorized by her. Mind you this is a takeout order. Obviously the server NAMED YURDIS added 30% tip for her advantage. CHECK YOUR RECEIPT BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!! So disgusting!

First time here. Very clean restaurant and friendly folks. The food was solid and delicious; also great portions! Good Alcapurrias (we liked the Guineo more than the Yuca). The Combo of Fried Rice with roasted Pork and Mangú was huge and very tasty without being greasy. Also the Combo of Arroz con Longaniza, Mangú and Cuajito was spectacular. Great flavors and one of best Cuajitos. We also love the ensalada de Pulpo and ensalada de Mariscos. What a great place! People of all nationalities and races buying food there ... We will be back!

For food I ordered a steak sandwich, my husband ordered roast pork with yellow rice and beans. We also ordered a bifongo to share. Once we received our food it was hot and the presentation was nice. The roast pork and rice was well seasoned and tasted great. The steak sandwich was packaged well and was tasty, one of the best steak sandwiches I've had in a long time. I did remember seeing a Colombian flag before, but I think the place was closed for a while. My first impression when we walked in was that the place could use better decoration and some decluttering. My second impression was that what was offered on the menu wasn't exactly what they offered (I'll get back as to the why in a bit). I wasn't sure what to order, so I went with something off the daily specials. I ordered the chicken with peppers, salad, and papitas (the little potatoes), but without the rice. The special also came with a chicken soup. My wife got the beef with peppers, rice, salad, and papitas. We also ordered four beef empanadas, jugo de mora (blackberry), and jugo de piña (pineapple). Let's start with the chicken soup, which was very good; some cilantro on top, veggies, a few pieces of yuca, and chicken (of course). My grilled chicken was pretty good and the potatoes were good as well. I try to limit my carb intake during the week, so I didn't get the rice. The grilled steak was very soft, juicy, and tender. She did say that the rice (white) was very good. She also found the pineapple juice a little too sweet for her taste, but in their defense, she dilutes everything in water as it is. Now to my favorite part of the meal... the beef empanadas. I honestly have no idea if they're made on site or mass produced. I'm leaning towards mass produced because they were all exactly the same size and shape. At this point, that's neither here nor there. They were amazing! I specifically took a small bite first so as to not taste any of the meat, just empanada. It's hard for me to explain how flavorful the dough was by itself, but believe me, if you go here and don't try the empanadas, you're missing out. So, now back to the whole menu vs what's actually being offered. This restaurant recently changed owners and they are transitioning to a new name. I think it's going to be called Alla Nos Vemos. The owner (I'm assuming) popped his head out of the kitchen while we were paying and talked to us very briefly. He seemed like a really nice guy. He thanked us for coming in, invited us back, and left us with a "Dios los bendiga," which to me goes a long way! Kind of a little whole in the wall, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the food.

I ordered three things through ubereats. 1) Fried chicken thighs--they sent two fried drum sticks…read more 2) mofongo with fried pork--the pork chop had so seasoning and no flavor. It was also overcooked, so it was dry and hard to chew. No sauce. 3) chicharrones-- these were well seasoned and flavorful, but the skin was rubbery, not crispy.

The restaurant sits in a converted old gas station, and parking is plentiful with some covered spots that provide welcome protection from the Florida sun. This is clearly an authentic Cuban spot where English appears to be a second language for some of the staff. Communication for a gringo like me was a bit challenging, but everyone was friendly and patient. I ordered a Cubano sandwich at the front counter and was asked if I wanted to make it a combo. When I asked what came with the combo, my understanding was a little limited, but I nodded yes and was asked if I wanted soda or water. I chose bottled water and believe I was credited back about $2 from the combo price. When my order was called, I picked up a basket at the counter holding a beautiful-looking Cubano alongside a generous serving of golden-brown French fries. Seating is simple and casual, and I noticed condiments are not kept on the tables other than salt, pepper, sugar, and napkin dispensers. I returned to the counter to ask for ketchup and hot sauce and was directed to a nearby table with ketchup packets while a small container of hot sauce was provided. The Cubano itself was well pressed with the Swiss cheese nicely melted and the meats heated throughout. The bread held together well and had a good texture. The ham was excellent, while the roast pork was fair. With mojo pork, you often get a mix of lighter and darker sections -- the darker pieces tend to have a stronger, gamier flavor, and this sandwich leaned more toward those sections. The pickles and mustard were well balanced and helped bring the whole sandwich together. The fries were fresh and crisp, though there was a slight hint of older fryer oil in the flavor. The hot sauce had a vinegar-forward profile and wasn't particularly spicy -- it reminded me somewhat of Texas Pete. The combo ended up being a solid value considering the size of the sandwich and the portion of fries. The restaurant also offers a buffet featuring many Cuban favorites, and I look forward to returning to sample some of those dishes along with a Cuban coffee. At the front counter there's also a glass case filled with pastelitos and a nice selection of empanadas that looked very tempting. Overall, a solid neighborhood Cuban spot with authentic character and plenty of menu options. If you're visiting for the first time, the Cubano is a good place to start.

Three kids in our group ordered pastelillos and Cuban lemonade. Gya is not adventurous so she had a burger. I highly recommend them for their kindness and deliciously yummy authentic Cuban food. The live music was comforting and fun.

Both were served quickly and were delicious. We had a party of five with a mix of dinner choices. Note that the menu given to us only has five dinner choices. This was odd to us being it was the beginning of dinner service with the menu being limited. One stepped up and chose the pork dish instead. All meals were delivered in a good time and the wait staff were very nice and attentive. The overall thoughts from the table was that the food was ok. The steak dishes definitely needed a steak knife (not provided) as they were a little tough to cut with the provided knife. We asked for medium and both came out very well. The sauce was tasty though. All and all we felt that the experience was ok and that with a little work could be better.

Great. So we left and killed a bit over an hour to come back to catch the happy hour. First off, the vibe is modern urban with louder than normal music blasting, which we love but it might bother some. We ordered Henny wings, faro a colon, empanadas (stuffed with salami & fried cheese - server told us that although the menu says 3 they now serve 2.... I guess I gave a look of disbelief so 3 came out on the plate lol), los dos golpes, canoa, la loma, yaroa, and chimi sliders. Drink of choice was the Henny colada - but, the server made the mistake of first telling us it WAS part of the happy hour 1/2 off menu then came back to apologize to let us know it wasn't.... she still honored her word so all is good. Our fav's were the Henny wings and Los dos golpes. The chimi sliders came out cold so not our fav and the rest was good but not great. In my mind, great means craveable - like we will make a 45 minute trip out here to have it again. I'd say we will come back to check out the night life and possibly a full meal but maybe not just for happy hour. IF we want appetizers you can't really beat half off, great for sharing, good flavors, but a lot of flavors are repeated ingredients just in different formats. We paid $75 for 8 appetizers and 3 drinks, so for $25 a head (we were 3) it's a decent Caribbean treat. We'll prob bring our friends visiting out of town here for an authentic meal. I had to knock off a star because although it's good, it's not great... yet. There's potential but things like inaccurate info on specials and food coming out a bit cold definitely leaves room for improvement.
