Taste: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Ambiance: 3/5 I love Lechonara and go to their main location often, but sometimes when I want to avoid the long lines I will go to this location. Less options due to the smaller space but everything here is delicious! They are very generous with the portion sizes and the prices are super affordable, making this a great value meal. You order at the counter and they do have seating available for dine-in but we usually just take it togo.

Recommend this great place!!! I tried one chicken empanada and got more. The breakfast is delightful and delicious, I 100% recommend. Satisfaction to its fullest.

I truly love this place. I visited the #5 restaurant for the first time a few days ago. I was surprised how much larger this location was, and they seemed to have everything Lechonera offers on the menu. Don't be scared away if you don't speak Spanish, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help you out. We went around lunch time and it was pretty packed. All the food was super fresh and absolutely delicious. I had the Ropa Veija and it was so flavorful. It's possibly my new favorite. I also love the beef stew. The restaurant does have seating, but when it's busy it gets pretty tight. Definitely give it a try!

I was in the mood for some mangu with salami and queso of course my husband made it happen. We pass this deli/restaurant a lot and omg I loved the fact that the food was fresh. As a fellow New Yorker this is the closest food to deli Dominican food from where I'm from. The food wasn't greasy which was very nice! The flan was so tasty not to sweet or sugary. I will definitely be ordering from here again. Recommend going before 10am it will not be busy!

I can't believe how many times I've passed by this awesome spot, not realizing how great the food is! Friends have been raving about the quality & quantity of their combos, and I wish I had listened sooner. Meals seem to be in the $10-$15 range, but their portions are HUGE - I could barely close the container at first. Instead of just one, the staff were kind enough to let me choose two entrees for no extra cost to try both the Ropa Vieja and Pernil Asado on top of yellow rice and a side of plantains - it was only $12! I'm not usually a fan of pulled pork, but the marinade and cook was just perfect! Everything overall tasted fresh and was served hot. Even though it looks small on the outside, there's actually a notable amount of inside seating. There are plenty of comfy blue booths that fit 4-6 people lining the back wall. It also seemed like most of the orders were takeout, so it never got too crowded while we were there. I loved how friendly and quick the service was, and the staff didn't seem at all bothered by my endless questions about the options on the menu. On a mini side note, there's a box where you can enter for a massive cruise discount by the door. My friend entered and won recently, so you just never know! Will definitely be back soon :)

My carne guisada tasteless and greasy. First and last time at this place.

Worst place to eat at. Service was the worst. The young lady with an attitude and the food was not appetizing. Rice was buen and the carne guisada was greasy with no taste. Then the brought the volume up and you literally had to scream to place your order. Won't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I bought the seafood paella and baked chicken, but couldn't enjoy It way too salty.

I bought the seafood paella and rotisserie chicken. Couldn't get to enjoy because The food is way too salty.

Arroz con gandules, ensalada de coditos, peril and mofongo Their portions are huge for a great price! Love it!

Very fast service, they have their safety for covid Food is delicious seriously recommend!

All I have to say is that they are doing false advertisement with tripletas. First red flag was that the girl asked if i wanted mustard or just mayo. Im from Puerto Rico and used to eat tripletas every weekend so i know what its suppose to be and its just highly disappointing to see tripletas in the menu and then receive this.

The dining room is spacious and well decorated. The server was nice, helpful, and joked around with us during ordering. We ordered a mojito and a passion fruit margarita. My husband said his mojito was good and refreshing. My margarita was ok, a little bland to me but drinkable. For food I ordered a steak sandwich, my husband ordered roast pork with yellow rice and beans. We also ordered a bifongo to share. Once we received our food it was hot and the presentation was nice. The roast pork and rice was well seasoned and tasted great. The steak sandwich was packaged well and was tasty, one of the best steak sandwiches I've had in a long time. The bifongo was soft and you could taste both the sweet plantains and regular plantains perfectly. The bifongo was so tasty on its own it didn't need the sauce it came with. The restaurant is well decorated, the servers helpful and friendly and the food was seasoned to perfection. I would like to come back and try more menu items.

Both were served quickly and were delicious. We had a party of five with a mix of dinner choices. Note that the menu given to us only has five dinner choices. Two ordered the chicken meal and the other three chose the skirt steak (churrassco) meal. The waitress returned to let us know they only had 2 streaks left. This was odd to us being it was the beginning of dinner service with the menu being limited. One stepped up and chose the pork dish instead. All meals were delivered in a good time and the wait staff were very nice and attentive. The overall thoughts from the table was that the food was ok. The steak dishes definitely needed a steak knife (not provided) as they were a little tough to cut with the provided knife. We asked for medium and both came out very well. The sauce was tasty though. All and all we felt that the experience was ok and that with a little work could be better.

Great. So we left and killed a bit over an hour to come back to catch the happy hour. First off, the vibe is modern urban with louder than normal music blasting, which we love but it might bother some. We ordered Henny wings, faro a colon, empanadas (stuffed with salami & fried cheese - server told us that although the menu says 3 they now serve 2.... I guess I gave a look of disbelief so 3 came out on the plate lol), los dos golpes, canoa, la loma, yaroa, and chimi sliders. Drink of choice was the Henny colada - but, the server made the mistake of first telling us it WAS part of the happy hour 1/2 off menu then came back to apologize to let us know it wasn't.... she still honored her word so all is good. Our fav's were the Henny wings and Los dos golpes. The chimi sliders came out cold so not our fav and the rest was good but not great. In my mind, great means craveable - like we will make a 45 minute trip out here to have it again. I'd say we will come back to check out the night life and possibly a full meal but maybe not just for happy hour. IF we want appetizers you can't really beat half off, great for sharing, good flavors, but a lot of flavors are repeated ingredients just in different formats. We paid $75 for 8 appetizers and 3 drinks, so for $25 a head (we were 3) it's a decent Caribbean treat. We'll prob bring our friends visiting out of town here for an authentic meal. I had to knock off a star because although it's good, it's not great... yet. There's potential but things like inaccurate info on specials and food coming out a bit cold definitely leaves room for improvement.

We also shared the main dish, the roti kan kan at the recommendation of our server since it includes both of the cuts of their main specialty dish, the porchetta. This was the standout of the night, especially the crispy pork skin on the outer covering of the pork belly. Would describe the inside as elevated casual, with a bar in the middle of the restaurant. Service was friendly. We just thought it was slightly priced on the higher end for what you got . Would return but order different dishes to try out the rest of th menu.

On Saturday night, I was on my home from shopping and driving around with my husband and decided to place a pickup order. We were close to the restaurant, so we knew we had to wait a bit until our order was ready. We got into the parking lot, which was packed and had to park right by the restaurant building while we waited; no problem. Fifteen minutes passed and I got a text that the order was ready. I proceeded inside and went to the bar (pickup bar?). As I got there, I told a server I was there for pickup and told her my name. She told me that my order would be coming out shortly. I waited a few minutes and decided to look at the receipts that were with the orders and did not see my name. There were a few orders that I could not see the name; not even the receipt and I did not want to touch the orders, so I kept waiting. I waited about 16 minutes until another server asked for my name. She looked at the order right in front of me and handed it to me. Ridiculous! The ambiance in the restaurant is very fun, and again, their food is delish, but their pickup process sucks. Sorry, no pictures as I was upset and starving.
