Roasted pork shoulder plate with white rice, black beans, and plantains
    Diego J.

Great authentic Cuban food! The portions were generous, and everything was packed with flavor. The pork shoulder was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the beans were just as delicious and well-prepared. We also tried the tres leches for dessert, and it was absolutely amazing -- moist, rich, and not overly sweet. On top of that, the service was excellent and very welcoming. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

It's a spacious location. Parking was easy. I was seated right away. Waitress was very polite and attentive. I was seated on a the booth. You can eat in or order to go from the food bar ready to go. The sangria was good. I ordered the Churrasco, medium. The food came out pretty fast and cooked as ordered. The portion was generous, enough to have left overs for dinner. It was after my food came out that I noticed they have a fly issue on the booths closer to the restrooms. I hope that's addressed soon. The food is good but be sure to ask for a table and not a booth to avoid that issue. The food gets 4 stars. The overall experience (with flies) is 3.

The food! The food is great, my dad and I travel alot together for work and stumbling across Abdele at this restaurant was great. Her hospitality and imagine the rest of the staff being the same. This a good stop! Must eat here if you're in orlando.

Cuban sandwich topped with ham croquetas and sweet plantains on the side

Not very busy, quick service, authentic cuban food and one of the best sandwiches I've had. Mojito was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. The guayaba (guava) pastry was warm, crispy, and delicious. Highly recommend and will be coming back. Decorations and wood furniture created nice vibes

Had a late brunch with my adult kid here and they never disappoint. The place is a vibe of old ranching life with lots of Cuban decor. Service was pleasant. Food was hot and delicious! My kid enjoyed his sandwich and I loved my breakfast the Cuban bread dipped in the cafe con leche.... Chefs kiss!

Love the food, the service is good and the ambiance is good. The beef patties are amazing and the cheese pastry is amazing and the coffee is the best! Cuban coffee with steamed milk.

Food - authentic Cuban cooking. Excellent flavors. Great selections including pork, steak and chicken meals and of course Cuban sandwiches. Large portions, traditional Latin drinks. The food was amazing. We tried the ham croquettes, chicharrones, and sliced pork with rice and beans and yuca. Everything was delicious Service- polite, friendly, professional. Helpful in recommending customer favorites Ambience -family style, tables and booths, bar service and entertainment area. This is a great spot for dates, business meetings and family dinners.

Our team eats here each time we travel into Orlando. The food is consistently very good, there are a lot of options, pricing is reasonable, and the staff are outstanding. This is an excellent place for lunch as a group as everyone can find something that fits their palette.

I had hopes that I finally found an authentic cuban cafe in Orlando but was sadly disappointed! I ordered a classic Cuban sandwich and it was mediocre. The bread was a little stale and lacked a good ratio of pickles/mustard/meat. The coffee was okay- again for a cuban restaurant you expect them to have the best cafe con leche but that was not the case here.

First time trying this restaurant I ordered via phone from the menu online. The menu and pricing online differs from the menu in person. When I came to pick up, I was greeted immediately from the restaurant side. Love that. She told me pickup orders are in the bakery area. Cool. I walk over and the clerk is checking out an order. After she is done, I am apparently invisible. Another lady behind the counter keeps looking back at me, no verbal acknowledgment but she is handling orders. A guy comes in after me and the clerk sees him, picks up his order checks out and leaves. I walk up closer to the clerk. I'm still invisible to the clerk. She takes a phone call. I'm about to roast this clerk out & the other lady behind the counter finally asks me how she can help me. Whatever I ordered from the online Yelp menu didn't translate to the order they put in. Also, they got my name wrong for the order. I won't patronize this business. Not that they care. *Kanye Shrug* 2 stars because the food was flavorful. Bakery/pickup service 0 stars.

I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. You can find details on their website: https://cubalibrerestaurant.com/en/orlando. You can find menus, entertainment, blogs, make reservations, specials, and more. The Cuba Libre Restaurant is open for brunch on weekends from 12 PM to 4 PM, for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 4 PM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. Happy Hour is at the bar and bar tables on weekdays from 5 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM. They have a special Chef's Tasting menu during dinner. They also host weekend nightlife and shows on Fridays with a live band from 7:30 PM to 12:15 AM and a DJ and dancing from 10 PM to 2 AM on both Fridays and Saturdays. It was certainly a great event and a fun place to be!

We mentioned we had a reservation but we were early and they were able to accommodate us. The indoor dining area is lovely with that old school Florida feel. Beautiful spanish and Cuban decor. The food, I grew up on Cuban food and cant help but compare all Cuban food to my dad's cooking. I had the lechón platter and it was good. The lechón was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The yuca lacked flavor for me and was a bit bland as were the black beans. The rice was good. I was able to try a bite of picadillo and it was really good! I also had a bit of a Cuban sandwich which was a little different, but it was really really good! We brought family from out of town and they were all very pleased with their meals. We will definitely be back.

The food has always been GREAT. The service and staff have always been great. They are not overly priced and they offer a good amount of food for what it is you are paying for. Flavor profiles are great. I am creature of habit, so I get my usuals when I order here. Among those usuals include the yuca fries, beef empanadas, guava and cheese empanada (when I want something sweet), the plantains, the tostadas, and I also enjoy their bowls. I've never had their burgers or some of their other platters, but I know those that have and they have yet to be disappointed. Being that Super Rico is located on the ground level of the parking garage my job uses, it is a restaurant I frequent. They are pretty quaint inside with limited seating, but they do have a good amount of outdoor seating with covered umbrellas. So, as long as the summer rain isn't too heavy, it is usually quite nice sitting outside to eat. They will also set up screens outdoors when there are major games, like they did for the World Cup. So, if you're ever looking for a spot to watch sports, they definitely do accommodate.

Being part of the parking structure doesn't mean that they validate your parking. If you can find street parking, definitely do that instead. I had the churassco med-well. It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and they bring out the food to the table and you clean up after yourself.
