Loved this place! We stopped by Orlando for lunch on our way back up to South Carolina. Being Cuban, I don't have many Cuban restaurant options in my town, so stopping here was a wonderful change of pace. The bowl and the coffee were absolutely delicious. We even ended up buying a box of empanadas and croquetas before leaving so we could enjoy them at home. The servers were incredibly nice, and the diner itself had a great atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner!

As someone from South Florida, I'm picky about my Cuban food. This place gets it right. We tried a range of items, and everything was solid. The papa rellena lived up to the hype--perfectly seasoned and a good balance of beef and potato. The "El Gaspar" special was a great twist on a Cuban sandwich, and the chicharrones on the side were a great touch. The Picadillo bowl was classic and satisfying, and the maduros were ooey-gooey just how they should be. The croquettas and guava pastry were flaky and delicious. Parking can be tricky, so you may end up parking in the street. They have a dedicated takeout door in the back, which was a lifesaver for a quick pickup. Friendly staff, fresh food, and authentic flavor. For a reliable Cuban fix, this is a good place. Definitely recommended.

Ordered a chicken bowl via uber eats and there wasn't much chicken. I liked that it was breast meat but it was on the dry side and not very flavorful. The bowl was mostly rice and the chopped tomato salad was literally just plain tomatoes. The sauce it came with was delicious and the plantains were cooked perfectly. The bowl was good, nothing tasted bad, but very plain and didn't seem like it was worth $17

Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or a quick cafecito, the food is always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I've been here more times than I can count, and every visit is consistently great. The vibe is relaxed with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for any kind of meal. I don't live on this side of town, but anytime I'm nearby, stopping here is a must. Everyone is always nice, caring and gentle! Perfect place to study, gather with friends or simply enjoy a meal. Stopped by today for a light bite--just an empanada and a cortado. Sat outside, soaked up the fresh air, and listened to the cars go by on the corner. Simple, peaceful, and always delicious. Black Bean Deli never disappoints.

I came here to try the Cuban after finding highly rated reviews. The Cuban was perfectly balanced and not too salty. I also tried a homemade ham and cheese empanada which was super fresh and gooey in the middle! Definitely a great spot to grab lunch and sit outside!

Welcomed upon entering. Two clean bathrooms. Seasoning in all the food was good. The chicken was especially delicious

Came here with my sister for breakfast. Loved the coffee decor. I ordered a cafe con leche which was okay and then I had 2 empanadas. One was the ropa vieja (shredded beef) and the chicken. Both could've used more seasoning but to start off the day this was the perfect bites before thrifting

Havana pork platter with yucca instead of maduros

OMG I LOVEEEE BLACK BEAN DELI!! I actually heard about this spot from a client and they raved about it. From the cafecito to the pernil and bread. Everything is fantastic! My favorite is the Havana pork platter. I always opt for yucca fries instead of the sweet plantains as I prefer a crunch. The sauces are also a great compliment to the yucca fries and salad. The restaurant has plenty of seating and always appears clean. The staff will give you a number when you order and then they bring your food to you when it's ready. They are attentive and can give you a to-go container if you can't finish it all.

It is located in the Mills 50 district next to Tori Tori (another local FAV). It is truly a nice little getaway spot from the usual hustle and bustle of the Mills 50 bar scene. They have seating indoors and outdoors. Their outdoor patio area is charming and adorned with umbrellas, and the fountain just adds a special touch, as well as masks the typical street sounds of passing cars and passersby. In the cooler months, the patio is just a vibe! The interior is just as charming with "French-inspired" influences, lovely lighting & decor that ties in the European escape this wine bar beautifully embodies. On my first visit, we tried to sit outdoors, but the Florida heat (& bees) had other plans for us. So, we transitioned inside and sat at their bar area. We were immediately greeted by the kindest servers who guided us on their menu selections. My friend and I, with similar wine tastes (we both love our wines DRY like DESERT), both opted for a glass of rosé and YUM! We followed it up with a white selection recommended by our server, and we enjoyed it immensely. Truly ten, ten, tens across the board! We did not eat (which, in all honesty, is okay with me). And based on reviews from various other Yelpers, the consensus SEEMS to be to eat prior to coming to Lorelei. So, I kept that in mind and on my second visit to Lorelei, I decided to just try MORE of their wine selection. On my most recent visit, we did try some light bites. Typically, on all my visits, I usually cap around two glasses of wine, and it's reasonable. They are not the cheapest spot, especially if you add food to your tab, but for the quality, it is worth it (to me as it relates to the wine selection), as I haven't really had a terrible glass of wine there. Maybe on my next visit, I'll try more of their food menu. Beyond that, Lorelei has been a great addition to the Mills 50 District! I am looking forward to how they will grow with the community!

They have a great patio outside too for those nice Florida nights. The wine list was extensive but the by the glass options were limited to about a dozen or so. I understand they have have 100 open bottles hanging around waiting for someone to order a glass. I assume (and hope) that the by the glass options change frequently. While speaking to staff I was informed of the full food menu that is available after 5 pm. I just had to see how they did with Cacio e pepe and wow I was surprised. This is a basic dish but it was executed perfectly. I certainly will be back again soon to order that again. I would take someone else who would enjoy but while they like Pasta they don't do wine. I did see they have some "mocktail" type drinks but maybe 1 or 2 soda or seltzer options might be nice to allow more people to enjoy.
