This is the second time that I have been here for breakfast. Place is run by Mom and pop from Ecuador. Very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the omelette with vegetable and ham. Typical American omelette nothing really special with the taste omelette at this omelette. But the bread was pressed and they put butter on top. It was good. The place just opened up so the service was a little slow when it comes to getting condiments and napkins. But the place is clean plenty of room and well spaced. Me and my grandma stopped by here to eat for lunch. It's your typical Latin cafeteria but it's one of the only places in Orlando serving authentic Ecuadorian food. The food was really good I was craving tigrillo and it was so yummy I also had a batida de naranjilla. Definitely do not recommend. Not only was the food not very good but also the customer service. The food was pretty bland and my steak was sooo overcooked it had the texture of paper mache-- bleh. The flan was inedible, burnt and overcooked. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of the flan because it was thrown away so quickly. As for the customer service... we were treated rudely by who I think is the owner/manager, which made it worse. He must've assumed I don't speak Spanish. He started complaining to an employee right in front of me of how long we were taking to order, and the just walked away in annoyance. I guess as first time visitors we should know exactly what we're ordering and order within 60 seconds. I ended placing my order IN Spanish and addressing the rude comment. My group was hungry and still wanted to try the food, if not I would've left-- & I guess I should've by how disappointing the food was. read more

If you are hungry and need a yummy well priced meal, stop in! We had seen a few people recommending it and was on that side of town and decided to give it a try. The gentleman working were so kind and cared for the food they put out. We both got a half chicken meal and it came with two sides each. He got the rice and black beans and I got the salad and red beans. I found the red beans had far more flavor and the yellow rice had bits of veggies in it. The salad was lettuce, tomato, cheese, and onion. Both meals came with tortillas to do what you please with. They have a sauce bar, filled with homemade sauces and general salad dressings. We tried the garlic sauce, pink sauce, and house sauce. The house sauce is more pepper based with some heat, the pink sauce is always my go to for dipping- wish I had ordered something to dip with. Overall would definitely be back! We are wanting to try the family meal which looks like an amazing deal! There is a good amount of seating. Decent Parking lot. The location is a pain to get back to the direction we needed, but not something worth worrying about. read more

Went tonight for my second time to order chicken with beans and rice. The lady at 7:32 pm tonight told me that the chicken was left for the Hispanic family that came in. They close at 9pm tonight and with an hour and half left before closing. Said she had no more chicken. I saw chicken in the grill cooked. They don't close yet. The city council should know that the business license has hours until 9 pm. Sad that yes racism exists reverse, and to not to serve someone who comes into your restaurant that isn't Hispanic is not ok/ I served in the military overseas to preserve freedom. This place has a really nice sign so I stopped by today. This restaurant is very clean and service is great. Prices are great too. The star is the chicken. I ordered the half chicken with rice & beans along with some tostones. Chicken is very juicy and tasty with lots of flavor. The rice & beans were great too, however the tostones was very bland. Hands down the best chicken I've had in a while! I've been craving a good roasted chicken for a while and this one hit every note. The marinate was on point, the tenderness and just overall experience. I had them through ubereats and it was still delicious. I'm planning on visiting them and eating it on the spot soon. Tried this place for the first time today. The chicken is amazingly good!! We tried the quarter chicken meal and the grilled chicken sandwich. The service is super fast and efficient, the staff always nice and attentive especially Wilmer. Now the chicken...their grilled chicken is sooo flavorful, tender and, juicy I absolutely love it! Really great food for a great price, the Family Feast usually runs about $20 and includes a whole chicken, fried pork chunks, rice, beans and, tortillas. Absolutely horrible! This is supposed to be the same restaurant that was next to the Magic Mall on West Colonial Drive for years. Firstly, the original place served fresh home-made Cuban style Latin food. This place does not! Their food is a far cry from the Pollo D'Oro we've eaten at for decades. The Cuban sandwich wasn't even pressed on a sandwich iron. The meat was rancid and tasted weird. Plus, it was NOT a real Cuban, which contained fresh ham, pernil, cheese, mustard, picked, mayo and sometimes mojo. This sandwich had lettuce and tomatoes instead of the fresh pork and pickles. Secondly, the pernil plate was gamey and tasted old. It definitely was not fresh, had a weird green color to it and left a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. Thirdly, the grilled chicken breast was completely flat, rubbery and chewy. It also did not seem fresh at all. The pink beans were absolutely watery with no gravy-like broth as in real Spanish food. Finally, and the worst of all... the steak sandwich was atrocious. It's the main reason I made the trip. The original sandwich has fresh, tender and juicy cube steak with shredded cheddar cheese and fresh lettuce and tomatoes. This sandwich tasted like a ball of grease, with no fresh lettuce or tomatoe. It left a nasty chemical taste in my mouth. I thought I was being overly cynical when I swore it tasted like Steak-Umm frozen beef slices. I confronted the girl who took our order and rang us up afterwards. I told her that it tasted like those flat frozen imitation steaks. She nodded her head and told me that indeed they are similar to Steak-Umm frozen steak slices. I told her how disgusting the meals were. She just brushed it all off and just offered excuses, saying how there are new owners, who are Ecuadorian. If they changed every good aspect of the original restaurant, why even bother keeping the same name? This place sucks. Stay away. The owners obviously don't care about serving fresh or even good food to its customers. Obviously, they're cutting corners in order to get your money. Covid is no longer an excuse for bad business practices!! This place needs to cut the crap and get on the ball if it wants to stay in the food business, especially in an area so heavily populated with real Hispanic people!!! read more

Let me just start by saying I do not typically go out of my way to find a restaurant on yelp and give them a review unless they absolutely deserve it, and this place absolutely deserves it. Incredible customer service, delicious flavors and I have yet to find something on the menu that isn't 5 stars worthy. I've been picking up lunch togo nearly everyday this week, ordering a new dish every time and have been super impressed. The chicken is flavorful and delicious, the fried pork chunks are incredible and the wings are among the best and most flavorful I've had, and for a bargain too. Can't say enough about this place.
