Chicken and onions empanada (beef n chicken) Black and red beans
Branden T.

Another perfect example of mom n pops/hole in the wall perfection. They have menu and buffet style. The food was very fresh and hot. I went with the chicken and onions, red and black beans, sweet plantains, and empanadas (1 each). The chicken n onions was very good. I enjoyed the red beans better than the black. The flavor was very good on both but the red beans just stood out. The sweet plantains were hat and fresh with a slightly bushier texture. The empanadas were amazing, the crust was light and very flavorful. But the insides were magic. I initially went with the beef. It was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was a super close second. If you like latino food this spot is perfect. (Salvadorian)

My boyfriend and I eat from here all the time! Super good food, great price, and friendly owners. The Miami sandwich and Cuban sandwich are super fire and they fill you up! The empanadas are also good!

Oh Que Bueno !! This…read morespot never misses !! Whew. I ordered the pork chops and my mom order the flank steak which came with rice and beans. The food came out quick. It was bushy because we went on Friday night but the food came out quick in my opinion. The inside of the restaurant is nice and clean the staff is very welcoming. Like it feels like a family gathering!! My food was 5/5 Will I return OF COURSE!!

Oh Que Bueno is a delicious Colombian restaurant on Semoran Blvd. Their food is delicious. Their…read moreservice is great when you're eating in, but pickup service sucks. On Saturday night, I was on my home from shopping and driving around with my husband and decided to place a pickup order. We were close to the restaurant, so we knew we had to wait a bit until our order was ready. We got into the parking lot, which was packed and had to park right by the restaurant building while we waited; no problem. Fifteen minutes passed and I got a text that the order was ready. I proceeded inside and went to the bar (pickup bar?). As I got there, I told a server I was there for pickup and told her my name. She told me that my order would be coming out shortly. I waited a few minutes and decided to look at the receipts that were with the orders and did not see my name. There were a few orders that I could not see the name; not even the receipt and I did not want to touch the orders, so I kept waiting. I waited about 16 minutes until another server asked for my name. She looked at the order right in front of me and handed it to me. Ridiculous! The ambiance in the restaurant is very fun, and again, their food is delish, but their pickup process sucks. Sorry, no pictures as I was upset and starving.

The pictures looked beautiful so I wanted to give this place a try on our way back to Tampa…read more Unfortunately, I must've gone on the wrong day because my food was NOTHING like the pics. The fried chicken wasn't bad, it had flavor and the tostones were nice and crispy. We didn't care for the rest though. The arroz con gandules was the driest I have ever had! The carne frita/maditas de cerdo had NO seasoning. I was so shocked! They tasted like unseasoned pork and oil! I was so disappointed because I wanted those so bad. The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately for us it was a big miss. The ladies working there didn't look happy to be there but neither would I if I had to work in those conditions! It was like a sauna!

The lady at the register was patient with me as I stumbled through my broken Spanish. She didn't suggest switching to English, so I must have been speaking reasonably well. So I ordered the carne frita (fried pork) with a side of tostones. When I go to any Latin restaurant, I have to try the tostones. Ever since Rice & Beans closed I've been on the quest for some good tostones. Piñones' tostones (no rhyme intended) were decent, but not quite what I hoped for. The star of the meal was the carne frita. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. I'll likely try it again in a mofongo.
