Delicious food! Very reasonably priced! I ordered through grub hub and it was ready quickly! I got frejoles necrosis and ultimate Cuban sandwich for around $20! The reason for a reduction of a star is that I ordered a large frijoles negros (black bean soup) that was supposed to come with white rice and there was no white rice in my order. I think that if ordered in restaurant this mistake would not happen.

Updating my review, great service, friendly owners, and love the place since it was remodeled a few years ago. Delicious Authentic Cuban food and welcoming atmosphere. Definitely come here for a nice downtown Orlando lunch, it's a hidden gem.

Omg so happy we went wandering for a place to eat because this is the spot right here let me tell you. There's no sign outside do it was a bit tricky to know it was inside the office building. But so happy we did when we found this spot, the empanada was so good and the coffee was delicious If you are in the area go ahead and try them

Best place in Downtown Orlando for Cuban Coffee. Mine is actually espresso as I take it without sugar. A colleague and I tried every place offering espresso downtown and this is our winner. They serve their omelette with fries and I'm not mad about it! The Cuban style ham croquettes were really good as well. Small place with big taste located on the ground floor of the Fairwinds building on Central.

AZÚCAR como decía Celia!!! Delicious food, great place to sit eat & chat and amazing service. This is a local mom & pop shop and you can tell as soon as you walk in - you are greeted with a wonderful hello & smile. I had ropa vieja & carne frita both flavorful & delicious. The morro flaky and a perfect combination to the meats. The customized my plate to my liking without even a slight hesitation. My only regret is not having had a dessert! There's a ton and they all looked delicious. It's conveniently located not too far from MCO.

Too expensive for a Ham & Cheese ($5.99). Employees have very low energy, confused and slow service. This is a very average Cuban Cafe with a high rent to pay. I won't visit this place ever again.

A little pricey for a cuban sandwich I've had better at other places and the fries were under seasoned but I'm still satisfied.

I recently went to Orlando for a conference, and while we spent the majority of our time in a large…read moreresort and convention center, the leadership of the organization hosting the conference hosted a special dinner in one of the reservable ballrooms at the Cuba Libre Restaurant. I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. You can find details on their website: https://cubalibrerestaurant.com/en/orlando. You can find menus, entertainment, blogs, make reservations, specials, and more. The Cuba Libre Restaurant is open for brunch on weekends from 12 PM to 4 PM, for dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 PM to 10 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 10:30 PM, Saturday from 4 PM to 10:30 PM, and Sunday from 4 PM to 10 PM. Happy Hour is at the bar and bar tables on weekdays from 5 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM. They have a special Chef's Tasting menu during dinner. They also host weekend nightlife and shows on Fridays with a live band from 7:30 PM to 12:15 AM and a DJ and dancing from 10 PM to 2 AM on both Fridays and Saturdays. It was certainly a great event and a fun place to be!

We mentioned we had a reservation but we were early and they were able to accommodate us. The indoor dining area is lovely with that old school Florida feel. Beautiful spanish and Cuban decor. There also an outdoor seating area which was empty on our visit due to the rain storm, humidity and heat. Our waiter was on top of everything, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food, I grew up on Cuban food and cant help but compare all Cuban food to my dad's cooking. I had the lechón platter and it was good. The lechón was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The yuca lacked flavor for me and was a bit bland as were the black beans. The rice was good. I was able to try a bite of picadillo and it was really good! I also had a bit of a Cuban sandwich which was a little different, but it was really really good! We brought family from out of town and they were all very pleased with their meals. We will definitely be back.
