Honestly the food is tasty and the prices are great. I go at least 3-4x a week. The only caveat is that because its so busy, sometimes it's a slight wait to make the order. The latin music in the background is a nice touch too. read more

For take-out their food has improved exponentially during the pandemic. Pre-pandemic the food here was bland and not worth it. However, recently the food has been better and their specials are affordable and pleasant to the stomach. They offer a nice BOGO deal on Uber which helps when you're feeding your kids through the school week, etc. I sat down to dine-in the other week and the service was decent. It wasn't as attentive as other restaurants. The waitress didn't check-in as much, perhaps because she was also helping with to-go's. I ordered their ribs with white rice and beans, which was tasty. The ribs were oily and didn't have much meat but the saltiness paired with the rice and beans was delicious to me at the time. I just would've liked more meat on the rib. To pay your bill, I personally had to get up while everyone else paid at their table. Odd, but whatever. The vibe of this place is very no-frills. Clean bathrooms. They were closed for a few weeks due to the CORONAVIRUS. Well they are reopened with all the appropriate measures in place. They are only taking 3 people in the restaurant at a time. You must have a face covering. They have now leveled up and got grubhub and doordash accounts. Come out and support your local businesses. The food is still good. Wow! I actually grew up down the block from this place. I came here about a week ago to get my bi- yearly fix of Spanish food. They recently renovated the place and everything looks nice and clean. The staff is nice even with the language barrier. And all of the food is nicely presented. This spot is my go to spot for Spanish food. read more

At 7am they refused to make scrambled eggs, insisted they only had fried eggs. The LAST 4 left over they wanted to sell us. Another customer asked if they had run out of eggs, the cashier and cook said no they were just not going to make any more eggs. In my opinion ANY food establishment that without reason just refuses to fill a food order I would not recommend. Unless you are willing to eat what ever they have left or choose to give you. This restaurant recently opened but has not yet been put on the map. The old restaurant named caridad is still posted on yelp. So i'm here to set the location for both the locals and the non locals. The food is so good and the choices are much better than the typical choices for restaurant chains of this sort. If you are a seafood lover like myself, I recommend you try their crab in sauce. just the right seasoning. But Generally all their foods are great. every time I go there I see something different aside for their menu so it's even more the reason to go there personally and check out the choices they have for that day. Terrible service. Do not use this restaurant. Ordered food at 5:45 with a 6:40 expected delivery. Food doesn't arrive until 7:50. Called restaurant repeatedly from 7pm to 7:45 and was told food would be there in 5 minutes over and over. I was a little shocked on the prices BUT when you get what you pay for it is always worth it. I had the chicken soup and cod fish stew. They were both great and I rolled out of there. The only thing I suggest is that if you go for lunch don't plan on doing much afterwards. read more

Had to change my review. They remodeled the place. It's bigger and looks better but, the seasoning is not the same. The whole chicken and the boneless chicken chunks are not that good. I've heard other people complain about the same thing with other foods as well..The staff are friendly though and like I said, the ambience is better now..a nice place to sit and have some cold ones and a quick bite with friends and family.. On a lazy rainy day, order food from here and the day won't feel so lazy and rainy anymore. Spanish food is my favorite kind of food because their are many different types of rice, meats, salads, you can choose if you want to eat healthy one day or treat yourself another day. False advertising!!! Their lunch combo clearly states free soda/ water and has a picture of a soda can with the meal but they won't give you one. I asked about it and the rude waitress keeps on telling me that there is no free soda. I don't really drink soda but at least say that it is free to those who we want to give it to. SMH. The one star is for the good chicharon de pollo but the rest has too much salt. I feel dehydrated after. I did complain that the soup was too salty but they brushed me off. read more

They don't accept credit card payments for delivery, only cash. (Even though it clearly states they take credit card on the delivery menu.) Pretty sure I've ordered with credit card before... I ordered ChiCharon de pollo and Plantains from here on a tues night...Seems like I got the scraps that was left over from the day. @ 10pm, I placed an order what seemed to take but just two minutes to make. (Usually taking 10-15 minutes or more if fresh) But it wasn't nasty, it just tasted rushed and old. Expect that on occasions if the restaurant flow is slow sometimes. read more
