Intoxicated during service, unprofessional, & disrespectful…read more During the hook-up process, the tow operator instructed me to shift my vehicle into Neutral. However, before I was physically able to shift out of Park, the operator began violently pulling/dragging my vehicle forward. Because the transmission was still locked in Park, the sudden extreme mechanical stress caused a very loud, metallic "pop" to echo from the undercarriage. Immediately following this impact, automotive fluid began heavily pouring out from underneath the vehicle. immediately contacted both the driver and the tow company office to report the severe property damage caused by the operator's negligence. Both parties flatly refused to take accountability. When speaking to the owner named Jose , he dismissed my claim entirely. Jose stated that he "deals with people like me all the time" and told me that I am "not going to get my way." While Jose acknowledged that the damage "could be the transmission," he aggressively denied all company liability.

I had parked there for dinner with my wife--just a couple hours, after the diner had already closed for the day. As a local with a city business parking pass, I didn't think it would be an issue. Clearly, I was wrong. We returned to an empty space and a knot in my stomach. A quick call to the local police confirmed it: towed. They told me it wasn't a city-initiated tow and to call the towing company directly. I did, and the man who answered (polite tone, light accent) confirmed the car was in route to their yard and would be ready in 20 minutes. He also let me know I'd be paying $485. We drove over and arrived at a hard-to-spot location off Valley Blvd. The setup was typical of these types of places--intimidating signage warning of dogs and firearms, a narrow gate, and a small window for human interaction. The guy working wasn't the same person I spoke to on the phone. He told me the car had been at their lot for less than an hour--apparently, we missed it by 10 minutes. I asked if the overnight fee could be waived. He got on the phone to check, but the answer was no. The moment the car passes through their gate, the full charge kicks in. And since I paid with a card, there was an additional fee, bringing the total to $501.97. At that point, what can you do? He checked my license, verified the registration, and brought the car around. I noticed a sign stating you can request documentation for your tow, so I asked. He said it would be available Monday. I followed up, and after a couple of calls, a woman eventually texted me photos of the paperwork. But here's the part that doesn't add up: the tow form requires the signature of the person authorizing the tow. The woman said it was signed by the owner of Rick's Diner. Problem is, the diner closes at 3pm, and this happened after 10pm. Unless the owner just hangs around at night authorizing tows (doubtful), I'm not sure how that checks out. To their credit, the staff was polite--but let's be honest, they know they're dealing with people in a frustrating, powerless situation. The real issue is the system that allows this to happen so easily. $500+ for parking in a closed business lot for a couple hours? It's legal, sure--but that doesn't make it right. I got my car back, but left feeling like the whole thing was more about profit than policy. If this happens to someone without the immediate funds, I can't imagine the stress it would cause. It's the kind of situation that sticks with you--and not in a good way.

Ten Years Reunion In…read more2015, I had a great experience when I brought my 2014 Black Sienna for repair due to an accident. The staffs were professional and friendly, the services were of high quality, and best of all I felt welcome. I left a very positive Yelp review for that incident. I stated I would come to Longo Collision Repair Center should my car need repair in the future. True to my words, I once again brought in the same vehicle for repair due to an accident in March 2026. Ten years past and I still have good memories of my interactions. I came back and honestly not sure of what to expect since it has been so long ago (Longo?). The Visit I drove into the customer entrance building and was greeted by Vic, an elder gentlemen. He was very helpful in answering my questions and guided me through the process since we were going through third party insurance. I called the third party adjuster and gave the phone to Vic who then arranged everything for me. Thank you Vic for making the situation less stressful. After dropping off my car, I headed to the reception area to sign some paperwork. I was hoping to see LaKisha again. She was the friendly smiling receptionist the last time I was there. Sadly, ten years is a long time and seems she has moved on. No LaKisha to help with paperwork. In her place is a young man by the name of Danny. He has a friendly smile and an approachable demeanor. He processed all the paperwork in a very quick time which I appreciated. He offered me donuts, coffee, and water to which I was directed to the lobby. Yes, these were the same refreshments then years ago (to be clear, they were same type of foods and drinks and not the same ones). While in the lobby, I went to the Enterprise car rental. Yes, it was conveniently located on the spot with the office in the lobby. Robert, the Enterprise customer service representative, expeditiously took care of the rental. I drove off in a brand new 2026 lipstick red Camry SE HEV with only 100 miles odometer reading. The car saved a lot of gas per milage which alleviated my wallet, especially with the Iran war going on. Once home, I looked over the paperwork. And behold who I saw was assigned to be the estimator...LaKisha (LaKisha Gordon to be exact). Yes, the same...the one and only receptionist who greeted me by my name with a smile ten years ago. Looking at her business card attached to the paper, there's a photo of her still exuding the same welcoming smile. A warmth smile etched across my face realizing she is now overseeing my claim. I had total confident my car and I are in good hands. She kept me updates throughout the process and informed of any changes along the way. When I call with questions, she was always there. Another estimator who is part of my claim is Gregory Martinez. It seems there's a team taking care of my vehicle. I was told Gregory deals with the insurance about parts and repair. He was adamant about getting the best parts for job. I received calls from Gregory frequently for updates about his interactions with the insurance and the cost of repair. Gregory always spoke professionally with the matter-of-fact tone. He informed me that the damaged fuel door was not covered since it was not related to the accident. It will come out of my pocket to have it repairs should I choose to. I declined and that was it. There was no hassle or pushing me to go against my decision. I felt my wish is respected. The Result After about a month, my car is ready to be picked up. I arrived at the lobby and was greeted by Danny...still smiling. He had me signed a paper and that was it. Quick and easy. I was ecstatic to see LaKisha in person after 10 years. She gave me a hug and for a moment I forgot about my vehicle. We went to inspect my finished car. It looked great like brand new. The color is smooth and shiny. The trim matches. I was happy once again. Then LaKisha pointed to the fuel door and reiterated it was not covered by the insurance. But they, Longo Collision Repair Center, took care of it "out of good will." I was informed that Gregory had to persuade upper manager to replace the fuel door for me pro bono. I was already happy and satisfied seeing my car all fixed again but the add-on of the fuel door was icing on the cake. Overall I am amazed but not surprise with professionalism of the staffs and the quality of services at Longo Collision Repair Center. Ten years has gone by, my car still held up from the last repair job, new staffs are still as welcoming and friendly, and the workmanships are still consistent and reputable. Thank you to all those I have mentioned and to all the employees who had done a tremendous hands-on labor making my car new again. In this uneventful incident, you stand out as the silver lining.

When I arrived at El Monte Collision Center i was having a really bad day due to dealing with the insurance company and other car auto body shops that tried to get extra money out of repairs. I was greeted by Luis Rios and Paula Rivera and i have to say they were the sweetest and most welcoming and Professional. I felt like family there. My car was completely vandalized with key scratches all around the entire car and to make matters worse i also accidentally scraped the side while parking in a tight garage space. Luis took care of all of the damages even though Infinity insurance tried to charge me with two separate claims which was $2000. I was devastated and knew i could not afford this. Luis was so gracious to only charge for one claim for the vandalism and offered to fix the scrapes at no additional cost to me. After researching multiple auto body shops I went based off of the amazing reviews he received online and i am so glad i was not disappointed. Luis repaired all the scratches and scrapes and even took out the dents in my car and detailed the interior. When i received my car back i felt like the car looked better than when i bought it from the used car dealer. The black color is amazing and Luis even kept it in a room so there was no dust on the car while i was picking it up. i am so happy there are good hearted people in this world that takes pride in their work and attention to customer service and details. Luis also sent photos along the way via email as my car was getting worked on which took a lot of stress off for me. He even sent the car back to be polished a second time because it was not perfect yet prior to pickup. I also received my car on-time also and i like that they have a lifetime warranty on the paint. In response, I reached out to my insurance provider, who provided me with a list of authorized mechanics. Upon contacting them, I had the pleasure of speaking with Joel, who immediately proved to be a great source of information. He informed me about the unfortunate delay in obtaining catalytic converters specifically designed for Toyota Prius models. However, he didn't stop there, he went above and beyond by informing me about alternative options that I could consider. There's a few things that stand out with the dealership. Clean cozy waiting area with very friendly employees- water, etc. (even had cookies today!) Constant communication whether in person while you're waiting or via text/phone. Always find you the best deals on parts. Very honest and sincere. Efficient. I mean I had this latest issue resolved within an hour and the other times the turnarounds were reasonable. Do good work! Always been extremely satisfied with the work. Highly recommend and my go to spot.s

We really needed the car for the weekend, and David went out of his way to rush the job and have it finished by the end of the day. When I picked it up, they had done a fabulous job--the car looked brand new, and they had even washed it for me! Later on, I realized some paint wasn't completely cleaned off, and I also noticed another small scuff on the car that I had missed earlier. I brought it back, and David was more than willing to fix both issues for completely free. I even tried to pay him for the extra work on the scuff, and he absolutely refused to take my money. If you are looking for honest pricing, incredibly fast turnaround, and someone who genuinely cares about doing right by their customers, go see David. Amazing experience all around!

Fortunately my insurance covered it all (Thank you Wawanesa!) and they asked if I wanted to go with their bodyshop or one i preferred. I work in the car business and have been fortunate to personally know about Valley Collision for their quality work and customer service. I immediately called Danny (owner) and he had John, Manager of the location, handle my claim. I cannot stress enough how amazing they are. They gave me prompt, continuous updates throughout the whole process. Never any hint of annoyance or anything even when I requested something small like pictures of the progress so far. Weeks later they call me the vehicle is fixed! Their attention to detail is ridiculously good. When I went to pick up the vehicle, John personally took the time to point out everything they did and their work is top notch. They replaced, and fixed up everything that needed plus some small things that got lightly damaged from the hit. My mother's car is literally looking like a new car. It was washed and detailed inside and out after they were done fixing it. Once again I cannot stress the quality of their work. It is far better looking and running even when I bought it as a CPO from the dealership. They actually match the paint they use to original factory paint!
