I had not been to this restaurant before (O'fallon location) and upon arriving and seeing the parking lot so crowded I expected to wait at least 30 minutes. Met friends for dinner, spent combined $160.00 on dinner and drinks. While we were finishing our Margaritas and beer. The waiter Cesar told us we needed to leave as he did 3 other tables of guests. All in total "16" people were asked to leave. I'm sorry to say "Cesar" is a substandard server he would rather talk to the hostess than serve his customers salsa and chips, ice water, etc. since being invited to leave by Cesar and still having $45 in drinks to finish I approached Asst. Manager Karen and shared our concerns, She replied we have asked him repeatedly NOT to do that!!! I like the food, price, ambiance, etc. but I will not be disrespected like that ever and return. read more

This building is cool and sets a fun environment to eat and drink. The service was fine, nothing special but nothing bad either. The food was great. The Mexican guacamole is fantastic! I took my family of 5 to this restaurant for dinner. The food was excellent and the atmosphere very nice, but I am miffed because my credit card was overcharged by $2.00 for the tip. I gave a tip of $12.00, but my card was charged $14.00 for a total of $86.27. Deliberately overcharging is the same as stealing. I am not sure if this was done by Cesar, our waiter, or someone in accounting. For the 10 minutes, more or less, spent by our waiter at our table, $12.00 should be more than adequate compensation. The extra $2.00 is trivial, but I will NEVER patronize this establishment again because they seem to think they have the right to make tipping decisions for me. read more

Our 1st time here and the only reason I give this place a star was food was decent and drinks were good. Service was HORRIBLE!!!. We waited 35mins to get a server over to our table after we had to try and track him down 2x. Some drinks didn't get put in till after 2nd time we asked. Had repeat orders a couple times. 1/2 food came out we ordered. Then 3rd time when splitting check after we established who was who at beginning. There was long periods of not seeing our server and after finally getting food order in it took another 40min to get. Our we spent over $100 on 2 adults 2 kids and it was horrible experience on a Thursday. We heard good things about this place but we're really disappointed. read more

When the Yelp app suggests to me that if I like this place, I might also like Jack In The Box -or- KFC... it reminds me of how mediocre this restaurant was. I found the staff to be kind and attentive, unlike the other reviews, so I give them a little more credit here, but the Mexican food was nothing to write home about. The three item combo was a chille relleno, cheese enchilada, and a beef burrito. I missed that it was without beans and rice, unlike the other combos, but I didn't need the additional food. What I missed was the promise of authentic, as the store bought chips, average salsa, and the rest of the food, was supposed to deliver (according to the sign and menu). The beef burrito was ground beef, with nothing more.... Inside there was no sauce, rice, beans, or any kind of spice to identify this as any nationality. The cheese enchilada was a little better, but was lackluster. The chile relleno was the one shining moment, though the cheese was runny. The same red sauce was lightly poured over all of them, giving it all one common, yet underwhelming flavor. Still, it wasn't bad.... It just wasn't anything exciting, interesting, or more than simple sustenance. read more

First time trying this newer restaurant. We went at 4 o'clock Saturday and we were seated immediately, saw our server immediately and had our drinks in less than 10 minutes along with complimentary chips and salsa. The food was good not great more or less typical Mexican fare. The restaurant is big and the ceiling are very high causing an echoing effect, do not think quiet romantic dinner. Our server was nice and everything was clean, I did not visit the restroom. When we left at 5 o'clock there were many people coming in and being seated immediately. My guess is that the restaurant was going to get progressively busier however there was an abundance of staff when we left. read more

We ordered take out for our dinner on 1-14-2022. My wife ordered a pick 3, which was correct. I ordered Fajita Jalisco. The fajitas where very wet with the chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables. They were all barely cooked and none were browned. I feel all was under cooked. To top it off, the restaurant neglect to give me any tortillas, rice, pico or refried beans. We have dined in the restaurant several times without any issues. We will not do take -out again. Very disappointed. read more
