Parking in this area can be a little tight, but we managed to find a spot without too much trouble. Once inside, we were surprised by how spacious the restaurant is. Even with the dinner crowd, we were seated right away. The atmosphere was lively, especially with the USA vs. Paraguay World Cup match playing on every TV. It created the perfect backdrop for a post‑game meal. I decided to try something new from their menu: the Aguachile Steak. It was outstanding. The steak is prepared in a vinegar-based style similar to escabeche, giving it a bright, tangy flavor that really stands out. My wife and sons enjoyed their meals just as much, and everyone left happy and full. The service was excellent from start to finish--friendly, fast, and attentive. Mehhh there's a drive through so kinda cool if you want to pick up, convenient. Two entrances which caused chaos and confusion. Some people would be seated before others who were waiting longer. Fast Casual- For just $5 more than "fast food", I received faster casual food... I did order inside, but I got my tea and Pepsi before I paid my bill. I then got my order after a quick run to the restroom. This place will surprise you, very unassuming from the outside but inside it very updated, clean and welcoming with very friendly and helpful staff. They have a great menu, full bar, lunch specials and kid friendly.Chips were warm and crisp and the salsa was fabulous. Back on June 24, 2025, I went with family to celebrate my Mom's birthday. Went around 1pm & it was understandably busy, BUT after being seated, I asked for water 3X before they brought it. They brought chips & salsa BEFORE the water! Also, service that day was incredibly AWFUL! I had been there 2x before, so I agree the food is good, but I will NO LONGER go there because of the awful service! I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and was excited to try a Mexican restaurant on this side of the river. Unfortunately, this place left MUCH to be desired.... While our party was greeted upon walking in, the service at the table was less than stellar. To start, we had several severs pass by our table, with no one greeting us or saying they'd be with us in a moment. This was unfortunate bc it was one of those days where I was really parched and would have loved a glass of water. It took eight minutes before anyone came by, so that was pretty disappointing. By the time someone did come by, everyone was already ready to order. The chips were average; standard crunch but surprisingly, no salt. The salsa was about the same, but I enjoyed the queso dip. I got the fajita Jalisco, which came with chicken, shrimp, and beef. It came out really quick but I think in lieu of their quickness, they forgot to season it because it was the most plain food I've ever had. I'm talking about not an ounce of seasoning and to say this was underwhelming was an understatement. Also, the beef and chicken looked more like table scraps because they were cut so small. This was the first time I've ever put salt on my fajitas. I wanted to use pepper but there was none at the table. The rest of the accompaniments (rice, guac and lettuce) did nothing as they were just as plain. This was a good choice. The bartender was very helpful, attentive and provided great service! We ordered guac right away and really liked it. Very good guac! We also enjoyed their chips and dips. We ordered dinners and I tried something new to me... this is not like me so I was taking a chance. I ordered a combo dinner with a taquito and enchilada. I really liked it - it looks small on the plate but was very filling. Hubby had the jalisco special - recommended by the bartender - and loved it. His dish was HUGE! After all that, I still had to have the chimi cheesecake. I knew I'd have to have it as soon as I saw it on the menu lol. It was a great decision! Hubby and I shared this and absolutely agreed after we should've each gotten one because it was that good. I will 100% be back here for dessert again! This is a super-solid choice for Missouri-Mex. The food was good, lots of fresh ingredients and plenty of choices. We both ordered the street taco plate (mine was steak on corn, hers was chicken on flour). They're served with several little bowls of condiments for each plate; cilantro, diced onions, salsa(crazy hot), and queso. Plenty of ingredients for the 4 tacos, felt like a decent value. Speaking of value, their kids plates are ONLY $3.99. This is a huge selling point for any parents out there!! The cocktails were also very good. My wife had a margarita and it would rank up there with what we make at home, so we really liked it. Very reasonable prices on the drinks too. This place is worth the wait! They have a drive thru, so you will often see the line of cars lined up around the building and multiple cars parked along curbs. Very busy on the weekends, which speaks for itself. Portions are huge and the prices are reasonable. We have been multiple times and everything we have ordered has surpassed expectations.
