Combination plate with chicken enchilada, tamale, rice and beans.
    Rena G.

These servers really hustled to keep the bustling crowd full of chips and margaritas! We started with delicious chips and very mild salsa. But there was red and green hot sauce on the table to up the spice level. The restaurant has booths and tables and is very casual. We had two combination plates. #8 tamale, enchilada, rice and beans and #10 two crunchy tacos with rice and beans. Delicious food. Served quick and hot! Yummy The atmosphere is fun and laid back. Lots of families there in a Friday night and an almost full parking lot. The staff was upbeat and checked in if we needed anything. We didn't wait long for anything. We had the house margarita and those were good. Not too strong or tart, very easy to drink. Highly recommend if you're in that area!

    A small but comfortable spot.

Summary: This comfortable spot has a large menu of standard Mexican dishes but our dinner was a so-so experience. Firstly, one typically expects diners to be served in the order they arrive. When a couple entered and placed their alcohol orders before being seated, staff diverted from attending two seated parties. Several minutes later one party ordered, but we had another wait before our server noticed we were ready to order. Wanting just a snack, we two divided a combo including three tapas. All three used ground beef that seemed to have absolutely no seasoning. Despite the disappointments the meal provided a fair value: We'll give El Rancho Nuevo another try.

El Rancho Nuevo is what you can expect at any of the area Mexican restaurants.....fast to serve warm chips and salsa, pleasant service with a smile, reasonable priced lunches and dinners. We've tried this location twice for lunch and both times it was good. I had the burrito and taco combo which was a spot hitter. There is a Mexican restaurant almost every mile around here, all similar but with different seasoning, etc. Try them all amigo!

Combo #1-2 Enchiladas, 1 Taco, and Rice

I found myself at El Rancho Nuevo for a quick dinner with a friend. Very small place! Very large menu! The chips were out of a bag (not fried or even warmed in house) and the salsa had the flavor of tomato sauce which is basically flavorless. At this point I ordered a side of queso because I wanted to eat some chips. The queso was as expected. I felt it was best to keep it simple and I settled on the #1 combo, 2 cheese enchiladas, 1 beef taco, and rice. My dinner date ordered a combo as well. I couldn't tell you what number it was or what was on it. The food came out lightning fast! I took a bite of the taco first. If I had bought a packet of taco seasoning at any grocery and cooked a pound of ground beef in it that would have had about 100 times more flavor and moisture than this beef did so my first bite of the taco was also my last. I moved onto the enchiladas. The cheese was melted, the tortilla was not stale, and they were exceptionally generous with the enchilada sauce out of the #10 can. The rice was dry and had no flavor. I finished the enchiladas and a few bites of the rice. Later in the evening I read the reviews for this restaurant. 1. I'm terribly confused by all the reviews stating how much they love the food and how it's so authentic. 2. Props to "Ben S." for his assessment and the label "shitty Mexican food." Boy, was this ever shitty!

    First time here...good first impression!!

Love this place! Kind of a hole in the wall, but it's clean, and the food & wait staff are very good. Reasonably priced too.

I really liked their food and no frills location, casual ambience, friendly service and generous portions of house-made eats! Everything from apps to dinners, Taste of Mexico specialties and more...you won't go hungry! Overall, 4.0 rated experience; expect to pay $15-18pp for entrees, plus any starters or drinks. Tonite we started with Kevs Dip, tender seasoned ground beef in a cheesy dip (would've liked more cheese) topped with pico de gallo. Enough to share, it was tasty and served with house tortilla chips. I think if you prefer a spicier version, try their Queso Fundido which has house-made Chorizo and fresh Jalapeños in cheese dip - i definitely want to try the Fundido next time. For dinners, we ordered Chori Chicken and a Weldon Spring Burrito. Both were plentiful portions (shareable if not overly hungry) and delicious! The Chori Chicken had house-made Chorizo and grilled onions atop grilled Chicken breast smothered in queso; served with rice, beans, salad and flour tortillas - hits the spot! The Burrito had grilled Ribeye steak, avocado, rice, beans, mushrooms, fajita peppers, cilantro and queso - wow it was a giant and complex burrito but very tasty to eat! Plenty of menu options to try, and perhaps my one surprise was quite limited Pork selections; while they had Al Pastor (marinated) Pork dishes, they did not have any Carnitas type dinner or Enchiladas. Regardless, I'll be back again soon to experience more of their home-cooked Mexican eats - hope you'll find and give Casa Mia's a try! Cheers, ENJOY!!

We had the option of both dinner menu or lunch menu which was nice. Basically, smaller portions/prices for lunch. And they always have specials so we had plenty of choices. What a great experience. It was pretty empty because of the time of day. Maybe 5 tables of folks. We were greeted with a smile and welcome by a hostess. Our service and server wwere terrific. I apologize for not remembering your name (tall, thin, blonde hair, big smile). thanks for a great experience. :) Chips and salsa were brought to the table. Homemade chips and one of the best salsas around. The right amount of heat and sweet with a nice texture. We munched while we considered our options,' My daughter ordered the Enchiladas Espinaca y Hongos mushroom & spinach , my future son-in-law ordered the Blackened Salmon with jalapeno butter and cheesey potatoes and salad, while I had the Burrito de Pescado Special and chose the optional roasted pablano cream sauce, All the dishes were right on. Flavors popped and inviting. I had the dinner portion of the burrito Pescado. It was enormous. A complete lunch to take home or two people could easily share. The salmon with jalapeno sauce was cooked absolutely perfect. Sauce amazing. The spinach mushroom enchiladas sweet and earthy with chipotle mushroom cream sauce and Chihuahua cheese rocked the house. Our server was on the spot checking in on us and taking care of everything constantly. This visit was a reminder how great Espinos is. And a reminder I need to come back for the duck tacos and duck enchiladas!
