Good food at a reasonable price. (Get the third item on the dinner combo for only a dollar more). The place is kept up nice with usually good service. The fam likes the new b menu too.

The food was good. The service was fine. Ambiance was normal Mexican restaurant feel.

I cannot stress enough how good the Asada Fries are. My boyfriend and I planned our evening to come order this dish. It is perfect, nothing to change. The quality of all of the ingredients is excellent. The Chicken is always cooked to perfection - not overcooked or undercooked. The guacamole is seasoned perfectly and the plate is garnished to perfection. ‼You are missing out if you have not ordered this‼

Clean nice Mexican redo tucked away in a shopping center but it's definitely worth a visit. Clean establishment with great service and full bar service available. Chips were hot and crispy served with a fantastic salsa and the food was plentiful, hot and delicious. If you're looking for a new place to try stop in here and you will be glad you did.

Mexican restaurant with a full menu of traditional fare. We brought the entire group to have a family meeting and the space was great. We sat in a large booth that seated 6 of us and enjoyed a margarita and chips while waiting for our food. Our server was fantastic, informative and attentive. As we checked out we even got to meet one of the owners, she was tending to the other things but when she saw us she came over to make sure we were taken care of and she personally checked us out. It's great to see the owners actively involved and concerned about your well being. Small things like that always win my business

I will say that we received great service at Tequila. I love good authentic Mexican cuisine, but found the food to be rather bland. My daughter was disappointed with vegetarian options; basically green peppers, onions and mushrooms. Could be improved with additional veggies. Generous portions on the food and drink pours. Nice to get a discount for checking in on YELP. Food was good, not great; still giving 4 stars for great service, YELP discount and overall atmosphere.

I live in Brighton Park and was very happy I tried this place. It's a walking distance so me and my son walked going there and we were greeted immediately and also seated quickly. The chips are good, not that great, but it was served fresh since those are still hot and crunchy. The salsa was good, but at first we thought it was frozen as it's not flowing through, but eventually we were able to pour it in.

I've have passed by many times over the last several years. Finally had a chance to stop in for a drink and chips with my wife. It is the typical strip mall Mexican restaurant with all the usual offerings. The decor is better than many of them though. We sat at the bar ordered our margaritas and cheese dip for the chips. Not really any different that so many other places. We were happy to see the $2 coupon when we checked in though. We were disappointed though when it was denied because we didn't order food. Maybe there is some rule about discounting a bar bill, but the coupon clearly states off total bill. We have options closer to home and probably won't be back

To say this place is excellent, is a huge understatement! I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. We've been coming here for years, it's amazing how much we still love the food and the people working here. On our way out to Pointfest and stopped for food first, so glad we did too!! The pork burrito with green sauce and cheese dip....amazing. Top it off with with my favorite Mexican beer and pow, I am one happy camper.

Located on the inside corner of a strip mall, from the outside Tequila Mexican Restaurant looks like a tiny place. I've been by it dozens of times, years back when there was a frozen yogurt place a few doors down that my kids loved to frequent. My husband and I decided to have lunch there on a recent Saturday. We were surprised to find that it is actually quite large, designed in several sections. There were few customers when we arrived, and we were immediately seated. Two flat screens nearby were playing international football (soccer) with Spanish-speaking commentators. At times like this, I wish I was farther along in my Spanish Duolingo pero yo estoy demasiado cansada estudiar -- or at least that's what I tell myself. We asked our server what he recommended. He suggested the $5.49 lunch specials which are available from 11:00 until 3:00. We both decided on fajitas, with corn tortillas for me. While we waited, we snacked on warm tortilla chips and salsa. The chips were good. I prefer chips thinner and saltier, but these were satisfying. The symphony of sizzles our fajitas gave when the server brought them to our table was magical. Between Hubby's steak fajitas and my chicken plate, I could have gotten a quick steam facial. Fabulous. The onions and peppers were dancing with joy. On the side: fresh lettuce, tomato, fresh guacamole, and sour cream, with rice and beans. My corn tortillas were soft, tasty, and unlike the ones I get at the store, they held together beautifully. Hubby confirmed the flour tortillas were typical flour tortillas. The fajitas were juicy, seasoned well, and fresh. For the price, the lunch was a terrific deal. The service was good, too. When I come back, I know I should try something different, but that fajita was so scrumptious. Maybe next time I'll even get a margarita. And I'll go home and estudiar mi Español.

Ate here on a trip. The food was very bland and covered in a runny cheese sauce. The fajita meet was over cooked as well.

It is a bit of a drive for us and I don't see a return visit in the future. Ms T ordered a quesadilla with chicken. The tortilla was dry. The cheese and chicken were skimpy, coming nowhere near the edge of the tortilla and the chicken was just cooked chicken with no seasoning, no salt. My huevos rancheros came with the strangest salsa on them. They were served with a tortilla underneath, which is as they should be, but the sauce was almost clear, like broth thickened with cornstarch. It had a bit of tomato, but no chile and no seasonings. It was what I call wallpaper paste for anyone old enough to know what that is. The refritos and rice were fine, not remarkable. The guacamole was decent, not an onion bomb. I also ordered a side of carnitas, which would have been good had they not been served at room temperature. I asked for corn tortillas and received more of the dry flour tortillas that Ms T had for her quesadilla. The salsa served with the complimentary totopos was the best thing of the meal but that does not warrant a return visit.

YUM!! Had I not been recommended to try Casa Mia, I would've missed this enjoyable local Mexican…read morerestaurant tucked away in a small strip mall. I really liked their food and no frills location, casual ambience, friendly service and generous portions of house-made eats! Everything from apps to dinners, Taste of Mexico specialties and more...you won't go hungry! Overall, 4.0 rated experience; expect to pay $15-18pp for entrees, plus any starters or drinks. Tonite we started with Kevs Dip, tender seasoned ground beef in a cheesy dip (would've liked more cheese) topped with pico de gallo. Enough to share, it was tasty and served with house tortilla chips. I think if you prefer a spicier version, try their Queso Fundido which has house-made Chorizo and fresh Jalapeños in cheese dip - i definitely want to try the Fundido next time. For dinners, we ordered Chori Chicken and a Weldon Spring Burrito. Both were plentiful portions (shareable if not overly hungry) and delicious! The Chori Chicken had house-made Chorizo and grilled onions atop grilled Chicken breast smothered in queso; served with rice, beans, salad and flour tortillas - hits the spot! The Burrito had grilled Ribeye steak, avocado, rice, beans, mushrooms, fajita peppers, cilantro and queso - wow it was a giant and complex burrito but very tasty to eat! Plenty of menu options to try, and perhaps my one surprise was quite limited Pork selections; while they had Al Pastor (marinated) Pork dishes, they did not have any Carnitas type dinner or Enchiladas. Regardless, I'll be back again soon to experience more of their home-cooked Mexican eats - hope you'll find and give Casa Mia's a try! Cheers, ENJOY!!
