We joined another couple at Nacho's for one of our regular get-togethers. We were not familiar with the place before this. It is a bit of a drive for us and I don't see a return visit in the future. Ms T ordered a quesadilla with chicken. The tortilla was dry. The cheese and chicken were skimpy, coming nowhere near the edge of the tortilla and the chicken was just cooked chicken with no seasoning, no salt. My huevos rancheros came with the strangest salsa on them. They were served with a tortilla underneath, which is as they should be, but the sauce was almost clear, like broth thickened with cornstarch. It had a bit of tomato, but no chile and no seasonings. It was what I call wallpaper paste for anyone old enough to know what that is. The refritos and rice were fine, not remarkable. The guacamole was decent, not an onion bomb. I also ordered a side of carnitas, which would have been good had they not been served at room temperature. I asked for corn tortillas and received more of the dry flour tortillas that Ms T had for her quesadilla. The salsa served with the complimentary totopos was the best thing of the meal but that does not warrant a return visit. read more

My neighbors, my wife and I went to Nachos again. This is one of our favorite places. We have a party of 6 and were able to walk right in and get a table immediatley at 6:00 on Saturday night. The server greeted us immediatley and took out drink orders. We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas. They were excellent with lots of meat and great flavor. We also ordered the Special Dinner which has a lot of different items on it. We also ordered a side of queso cheese sauce which made everything taste better. Their salsa is very good too. The have a good variety of Mexican Beers and they are very cold. Try one in a frosty mug. The restuarant is a very down to earth place with a lot of couples and families. Our waitress Julie is on top of things! She splits a pitcher of margaritas for us so we can have half frozen strawberry and half lime regular. The service is quick and the food is tasty. We've lived close by to here for a while now but only tried Nachos once recently. The building is in desperate need of a good cleaning and has more dust than a sawmill. The food was no better or worse than any other Mexican place you'd go to and the service was okay but I couldn't get over how absolutely disgusting the building was. read more

My mom and I stumbled on this little gem late one afternoon. This place had it all: great food, staff and decor. Chips and salsa were outstanding and we tried not to spoil our appetites from them. Our server really hustled even though he had quite a few other tables. I had the taco salad (minus the beans) and loved every bite of it. I think this place is still pretty new and I hope it's successful in maintaining its quality and vibes as time goes on. Ok so I'll preface by stating I love Mexican food but despise the lack of authenticity many restaurants offer. I came in here and drove around the empty parking lot a bit concerned. Granted it was about 2 i expected to see at least one other patron. I decided to park and give it a go and I'm so delighted I did. First things first the chips and salsa set the tone. We got off to a strong start with a chunkier salsa with a great balance of sauce and flavor. I talked with Hector about enchiladas, nachos, and fajitas. I decided on the green sauce enchiladas (verde). 2 chicken 1 beef. Wish I had gotten all chicken but they were perfect. The verde sauce is full of flavor and probably the best I've had in Missouri. The margarita tasted great and snuck up on me as I finished my meal. Overall incredible experience I admire most the authenticity. Please come here and see for yourself. Went for lunch today and decided to order shrimp on the side. We were very surprised to see that it was almost $10 for the 6 small pieces of shrimp. Way over seasoned too. Also tortillas are an extra charge. Be cautious of this restaurant having the add ons/adjustments to your order be higher priced than expected. We like their salsa and service is traditionally fast. I had a great first experience there! First came the salsa - it was really onion forward, which I loved. It's unique and it tastes great. All of the food was really good - though the nachos were a bit... wet. But all in all, I can't complain too much because it all tasted nice. I was also pleasantly surprised by their Dr Pepper. A lot of restaurants don't have great fountain beverages - and in particular, it seems hard to find a good Dr Pepper. Kind of an odd aside, but it mattered to me! Not much else to say. Outstanding new mexican restaurant. The building is an old McDonalds so the tables are kind of cramped. The food is outstanding. Burritos and chimis and tacos are my favorites. They have a really good arroz con Pollo. My wife is more adventurous and likes the Pollo Adobe. They have a nacho dish I think called crazy nachos that she loved both times. They have great rice. So many places have flavorless rice. For dessert try the churros. Great service each time as well read more

Been waiting for this place to open for months so I could check out their cute patio! Food was great, reasonably priced, and great service. Margarita was good too. Forgot to take a picture of our food though. My friend got a combo plate a mini chimichanga and a taco with rice and beans and I got a shrimp quesadilla. I took my daughter there on our girls night because we both heard good things about it. Right as I walked inside, you can definitely tell they did a great job renovating.
