This is an oldie but goodie. I got an Al pastor and carne asada tacos and two Sonoran dogs. Came out to $14. The tacos are always good. It's a friendly place with lots of seating. They gave me lime and cucumber to go. I do wish I had pico or something else to put on it but I don't remember feeling like it needed anything last time I came. I feel maybe it wasn't as good as last time but I can't put my finger on it. The Sonoran dogs from here are usually my favorite but this time around they just didn't hit. It's probably been about 6 months since I've been here. I did go when it was 40 minutes from closing so maybe that was the issue. Maybe it was them maybe it was me but for the value you can't beat it and I will continue to support.

This spot is as legit as it gets. It's literally like you are in Mexico at a stand. We got the carne asada. Al pastor. And torito chiles. All authentic flavor. Perfect seasoning ughh just like being in Mexico. A must try!!! The staff is amazing. So friendly and its really nice and clean even though its an outside experience.

Sonoran Hot Dog

We originally were looking for another restaurant when stumbled on this place. We were looking to have an authentic Sonoran Hot Dog. We'll let me tell you we found it. The bread for the buns was some of the best tasting we've ever had, so much that we asked where they got and we're going to that place today.. I'll do another review later. The Camelo is basically a quesadilla with Carne Asada, we were given choices of Four different sauces and chiles. This place is Food Truck food, fine dining service. We wanted to order more but to full.

Super fast cheap-ish eats from two food trucks in a gravel parking lot on the corner of 36th and Park. The first Sonoran hot dog I've ever had - and it won't be my last! I learned that a Sonoran hot dog is bacon wrapped with crema (sour cream), beans, and pico de gallo. Heaven on soft, spongy, fresh bread. Salsa is optional for me but my husband asked for their hottest one and it delivered with a smoky heat that complimented the hot dog and the tacos de tripas we also tried. Pro tip: bring the green stuff. It's cash only.

Driving by and craving a Sonoran dog. El Manantial did not disappoint. Quick and extremely friendly service, Sonoran Dog hit the spot. Will be back to try one of their many different food options. Highly recommend.

Best Sonoran Hot Dogs that I've tried, I've tried so many Sonoran Hot Dogs and none tatse as good as this ones. The place looks sketchy but best Hot Dogs you will ever try, the peppers are not that spicy so give it a try. The downside is that they only take cash. They also sell other food but I have not tried yet. But I'm willing to try it next time.

Two carne asada tacos - wonderful, red sauce had a great flavor and a bit of a kick! Thank you.

Wonderful roadside set up just outside of central Tucson. Stopped for two carne asada and a fanta. I would certainly recommend and if back on that side of town, would stop and dine again. Friendly, clean, good price - tasty asada! Thank you.

Bacon wrapped dogs, caramelized onions, amazing pinto beans, ... AND bacon wrapped peppers? Delicious. It's $3.50 a hotdog and they're perfect. Every little detail - like the toasted bun - is accounted for here.

Which, you know, is kind of the whole point of a restaurant. The atmosphere was great, a little on the nose, but great none the less. It feels like a Mexican dinner or at least what I imagined a dinner in Mexico would look like. The staff where beyond amazing, especially the woman who made our complementary salsa right at the table. And the salsa was yummy but sadly that's the only part of the meal that I can say that about. The thing is, nothing was truly bad, but just about everything was incredibly bland. You'd have expected someone who puts raisins in potato salad to have served it, not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Though the positive is the lack of seasoning is really the only major problem. The food did not have any weird taste, it wasn't dry, the presentation was fine. It simply needs to be seasoned and this place goes to a solid 4/5 rather than a three.

Spacious patio area, with cool lights, umbrellas, and many tables. If you have a choice and it isn't too hot, sit outside. The food is stellar! I got their ranch style flat enchilada, which is more or less a thick masa topped with enchilada flavors and spices. So yummy. (And it's vegetarian too!) The rest of the table (3 more) ordered the green chicken enchiladas. They didn't need to rave about it: their plates were completely clean at the end of the meal! We ordered Tamarindo and Horchata drinks between us, and frankly, the Tamarindo is some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Service can be a little slow, especially if they're busy. But we didn't really mind. It was a nice experience.

Their back patio looks super cute for warmer nights and the food was great. Little bit of a wait but the friendly servers got us sat as soon as possible at 7pm Saturday. Salsa and chips were tasty, the carne asada was excellent. The corn tortillas are thick and perfectly charred. The green enchiladas were good too. The sauce was thicker than usual, but that's probably the Native fusion instead of being just Mexican enchiladas. So glad we stopped in, we ate every bite. Forgot to take a picture until I was half through!

Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
