Mine is under warranty and I have to reach out to Hayward so Dan told me to keep his until I get mine taken care of. So grateful for his helpfulness because I am so frustrated with what is going on with my pool cleaner. His works great in my pool.

So at first when we start. Service was ok. David come first…read moretime and explain a bit about the pool and the system. It was the first time I owned a pool. So I didn't know much. Then we got the big dallas storm. Take David something like 4 months to repair the manifold for the hot tub. So I was not able to use it for 4/5 months. But I totally understand. It was short on any supplies all over. So I can't blame him. How ever ever sense then. The service was not good. I don't know if it's something to do with where we located in Richardson. Or maybe my pool was a big and he didn't overcharge. I have no idea. But service was not good. The guy he send will come few min. Clean a bit. And run away. The pool was always dirty. And yellow on the ground. So many times I find my self going in to brash and clean. So many times. Every time I have an issue. I will let the service guy know. But he would never transfer that forward. Then I will have to text David and that take another week or two before maybe it's get taking care off. His guy will never basically check to make sure everything work. Or any leak. Will come. A bit Cleaniny. Some chemicals and run away. The pool lights never work. He never cared. The pool have a leak for months before I notice my water bill is high. The pool system was beeping for months before finally David was able to come take care of it. For months I will seat and watch a movie and the system will keep beeping. Not good service. For 4 months or so I inform David. That one of those things on the ground are cloth I have asked is your guy suppose to clean it ? His answer was yes. I was watching it. 3/4 months after. He still didn't clean it. I have pic to approve. I have sold the house lately. So I am glad I don't have to deal with it. But soon will build a new pool in my new house. I doubt it I will use north Texas pool again. I don't mind to pay a bit more but enjoy my pool. I did transfer the new owner david number if he want to use him. But just to be nice. I have a mix feeling about the service.

I have some issues with my pool and they are working with me to get it fixed (they have been out 3 times and have not charged me for those times!!) My last pool people charged me $175.00 for every trip even though I had been a customer for over 3 years. The price of My monthly service went down significantly and I couldn't be happier. Both had air leaks, the pump was noisy and we were constantly having to take out the filter cartridges to remove the green slime (algae). Our electric bills were up there and we were spending a fortune on chlorine. At the end of the day, we were waisting a lot money on a green pool. Being a handy guy and having worked in the swimming pool construction business many years ago, I visited Dickson Brothers and began inquiring about patching up my old system as compared to replacing the essential components, pump and filter. "Travis," a pool service technician at Dickson Brothers squared me away with options, price lists, and overall advise on modern day pool repair. Travis really knows pools and pool repair! I compared the prices with other other pool suppliers and found that Dickson Brother's was about $200 to $300 less for the pump (variable speed) and filter and the pre-filter was about the same. I decided I was going to take on the actual work of replacing my old pump station pad and pouring a new pad, and replacing all the major components, valves and pipes, including electrical connections. I can't say the job was easy but with Travis' guidance it went smoothly. I don't think I had to bug him too much but when I did, he was always available and provided great info on getting this project done. He even answered his phone while on vacation....unbelievable! I have nothing but good things to say about Dickson Brothers, Travis, and the rest of their staff in getting our pool back to a sparkling clear water situation. The new pump is quiet, powerful, and highly efficient and the pre filter really takes care of a lot of the dirt and debris before it gets to the big filter. I have a feeling we're going to spend a lot less time cleaning filter cartridges as compared to enjoying our pool! Whether you can do the actual repair work yourself or whether you'll need someone to fix your pool for you, I would certainly consider talking to Travis (or anyone else) at Dickson Brothers.

We decided we wanted to add a water lily plant to our koi pond to provide shade for our fish. We…read morehad been to Dickson Brothers many years ago and decided to check out what they had. We were babysitting our 3 grandchildren for the weekend so they had a blast checking out the pond display and yard decor inside. The pond display has a few fish but the highlight was watching the turtle! We went outside and saw all the baby fish in the tanks and lots of pond and bog plants to choose from. We saw Sid who was working outside and we had a few questions for him. Sid was great! He was very helpful and kind, answered all of our questions and even offered up some suggestions! After we chose the plant we wanted, he carefully wrapped it up for the trip home. He made sure to tell us how to fertilize the plant and we bought some tablets to use in the future. We had a great experience!
