    Taco gobernador and salsa :)
    Annie M.

We were on the search for some empanadas de camarón and boy is this the place to handle some cheesy, flavorful empanadas. Other yummy foods were the tacos gobernador, taco de pulpo (spicy version), and grilled cheese de birria (no photo because it was too good that hunger was quicker than the camera). The kids quesadilla with fries and a capri is good for your little ones that just eat a little bit (comen como pollito). The horchata was made with coconut and had the right amount making it a mandatory beverage to have alongside with the food. Now the only reason there's a star off is because the PARKING LOT HERE IS TERRIBLE. So 'to go' is an option if you can't stay to eat, but have someone with you when you come because at least they or you need to go get the food. :)

Fresh and flavorful mariscos that reminds me of Mexico. My family and I came here last weekend and man did El Cevichazo did not disappoint. We were seated immediately and the server was beyond helpful. We ordered the aguachile verde, empanadas, tacos el gobernador, and the botana de camaron y pulpo. We met the owner and he was incredibly attentive. He gave his personal recommendations, noted the most popular items, let us try the negro sauce/marinade used for the aguachiles, and gave us a sushi roll on the house. The food itself was fresh and had the perfect kick to it. I liked the aguachiles and the green chile had a nice kick to it. The black version is less spicy and has a nice tang to it. Next time I come, I think I'll get the aguachile negro. I want to note that the aguachiles are still gray, as I know some people may have a preference. The empanadas had good flavor and were perfectly crispy. We also ordered a michelada and horchata. They add coconut to the horchata and it's refreshing without being too sweet. My mom enjoyed the michelada. Overall, the food was great and I would come back again. The only negative would be parking since El Cevichazo is in a small shopping center with limited parking. However the food and service were both great.

Stopped in for a quick solo lunch. Service was friendly and fast. Comfortable environment to eat in, 4-5 tables. Ordered two Baja style fish tacos and they were delicious. Was also provided tostadas and crackers and a glass of ice water. Great meal for about 10 bucks! Hard to beat :)

My no sabo self tried by little heart to speak Spanish, and definitely was understood (thankfully) haha. However, the servers were very rude about it. Otherwise, the food was good! Shrimp in the ceviche does come very raw/grey, thankfully it was a to go order so I added more lemon and let it cook at home. The flavor/mix is savory and does not lack any flavor! I don't think the squirt preparado has any alcohol & the miche is a MUST. Lastly, the location is nice but ambiance could be friendlier/warmer. Would come back for the food if I can get past the vibes here.

This place used to be good. Ordered for pick-up, gentlemen said 25mins. Got there 30 minutes later and had to wait another 15mins to get my order, so 45mins from the phone call. All 5 fish tacos were made on cold tortillas, straight out of the bag. They crumbled in my hands. Not to mention the cold fish. I've watched too many business fail in your exact location over the years, don't be the next.

Food was ok service was mediocre. Waitress was not welcoming and had an attitude for no reason. Had their mango margarita tasted like a mango smoothie was better off ordering an agua fresca. Would probably come back for takeout not to sit down.

The food is amazing never disappoints. My favorite thing to get here are the Empanadas de Camaron and the Guerito Roll. Sooooooooo delicious.

My visit was a pleasant experience. The atmosphere was welcoming, and we were promptly greeted and seated upon arrival. While the dishes were prepared adequately, they offered a taste of the expected flavors without much flair. The service was prompt and courteous. The menu features a decent selection of Mexican seafood dishes, including birria. For drinks, they offer agua fresca like horchata and jamaica, as well as a decent selection of bottled beer and other Mexican sodas. The this small restaurant has indoor seating only with front parking available. The bathroom was clean.

I was at this restaurant with one of my sons and his girlfriend this afternoon 1/7/2024 Sunday about 3:00 pm. The waitress asked me if everything was ok . We had a little situation with our order. She told us that the owner was there and she was going to share this information with him. The owner came out And apologized in person and explained to us what could had happened....... He worked it up for us .. It was not what we expected. I was very impressed. This is not the 1st time I come to this restaurant and I always bring new people with us. This will definitely not be the last time. Don't forget to try the cevitostitos. Thank you.

Live very close, tried it, Solid!…read more I was hungry and a fish and shrimp taco are BIG! As their menu explicitly states, and they are priced accordingly, around 5-5.50 each. I got fish, shrimp, and a potato taco since supposedly that was good too, it was very crispy and flavorful, my favorite though is from The Corner in HB for a mashed potato taco ;) SHRIMP: think this was primo - shrimp felt warm, big, juicy, flavorful, there was hotsauce on it as the menu states iirc. Might consider getting TWO of these instead of the fish. FISH: solid! Comparable to the ensenada fish tacos in fullerton I think? Or maybe that one is slightly better, been awhile. Overall - solid spot, not the cheapest but the quality is good and they don't skimp on protein. Not as good as tacos los cholos but that's further away, this is next door and again - they specialize in different meats!

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

We ended up ordering a burrito combo, a chile relleno combo, a hard taco and enchilada combo, two taco combos, and a few horchatas. The portions are definitely generous, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The restaurant itself is clean, spacious, and has plenty of seating, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. While we were waiting for our food, one of the owners came over and chatted with us about the restaurant's history. He shared that after the original owner passed away, many of the longtime cooks and staff decided to come together and open this new location, continuing the recipes and traditions they had been serving for years. Hearing that story, along with the genuine warmth and hospitality we experienced, made us appreciate the restaurant even more.
