You really get a lot for the price, and the shrimp were HUGE. The sauce was packed with flavor -- the perfect balance of spice, butter, and seasoning. Simple, messy, and absolutely delicious. Service was also great. There was only one server working, but he stayed on top of everything and made sure everyone was taken care of. The place itself is a little small, but it actually made the experience feel more cozy, and we got seated right away since it wasn't too busy. The place has a basic setup of table and chairs and each table is covered with white butcher paper. I had blacked shrimp on skewers, boiled eggs, and fried instant noodles. The shrimp came with a buffalo dipping sauce. The place is in an unassuming small strip mall. The place is quiet, and family run. The place has a busy vibe to it. That is to say there are diners, pickup orders, and food delivery going on. It does take a bit longer to get the food. So, I was anticipating shrimp on skewers that were blackened and well seasoned. What they mean is deep fried and well seasoned. The dipping sauce was good and boiled eggs are boiled eggs. The shrimp had a nice crunch to them and were not soaked in oil. The fried instant noodles are surprisingly bland. I asked for more buffalo sauce to dress it a bit, but to no avail. This is a dish that needs a heat scale with the seasoning. The noodles are well prepared and the texture is perfect, but they were served luke warm and with only Tabasco sauce on the table. Also, my friended order the shrimp boil over rice and found the potatoes undercooked. This place is worth the money and with a few adjustments on seasoning, remembering that blackened shrimp or any food has a chard appearance to it and does not come to the table as fried food. I'm giving this five stars because the effort here was undeniable. It appeared the gentleman working was handling the kitchen and the register entirely on his own. While the customer service was a bit strained and the food was a little bland, I have to give credit where it's due--he was wearing multiple hats and doing his best to keep the doors open. Was craving seafood boil, checked out Yelp, drove here swayed by the 5 star reviews. Diego welcomed us and explained the menu and their difference with Boiling Crab. He recommended the "Seaman's Catch" for $82 which consists of 2 snow crab clusters, a lb of shrimp, 2 corns, 5 potatoes, 5 sausages and 2 drinks! Love their sweet tea! We picked mild Daddy Sauce and it was perfect. Calamari was our appetizer which came out fast and piping hot. Husband ordered rice for the crab and it was a generous serving. Both crab and shrimps were fresh and juicy. If you like Boiling Crab's sha-bang sauce, you will enjoy their Daddy Sauce version. There was a stream of to-go orders and pick-ups. This place is so refreshing compared to your niche kicking crab or boiling crab. We mixed our own bag with the daddy sauce. With the amount of garlic they put in the sauce it's so well balanced that I couldn't even tell garlic was in there! We got the omg level spicy & it hits you in the back vs the front. My partner and I went on a mini staycation and decided to look around. I saw Boil Daddy and got curious. The server and cook were really friendly. We got a pound of shrimp, half pound of mussels, potatoes, eggs and sausages and their serving is a lot. The sauce is amazing, I love the amount of garlic they used, I love garlic and this definitely became one of my top restaurant. We didn't get to finish the food and we ordered an extra rice and they gave it to us on the house which was really nice of them.
