I was not a fan of this place at all. The staff was friendly but the food was terrible. There was little shrimp in the shrimp plate, rice was extremely salty and the entire shrimp including the tail was breaded. Hard to tell it was at first and you would end up picking pieces of the shell out. read more

visited today. asked for a tostada mixta, the lady brought out what i thought was what i ordered. friend ordered a tostada de cameron. with only 1 tostada, and never came to ask if we wanted extra tostadas. the food had no taste what's so ever to be honest, had to use alot of tapatio, and i'm not a big fan of tapatio..lol. it was a total of 22+ when asked why so much, she said i ordered a mixta plate? wtf...lol paid my tab, and will not visit again, i should have went with my instinct and tried the pizza place a few doors down. this place is very very tiny. save your money. read more

Found a cockroach in my cousin's tacos El Governador. Not only that but the shrimp in the taco were absolutely disgusting and smelled awful. I didn't take a picture of this but the taco was completely burned from the back as well. We have nothing against this restaurant but we just want them to be A LOT more careful and closely monitor what they are serving their customers. We will never come back again read more

This place is delicious! The camarones cucaracha and al mojo de ajo are my faves! The cook hand makes your tortillas and the complement each dish very well. The food is made to order, yes including the ceviches! They have sangria, manzanita and Jarritos to chose from, they also have fountain drinks. read more

I was craving aquachiles and I stopped at this place, the man working was nice and welcoming but once I got the food and ate it lemme tell you that sh** was DISGUSTING. Do not come here the shrimp was soggy and nasty. It was awful never again will I be coming here yuck. read more

Coming from someone that is from Nayarit, this place is hands down the best spot for mariscos. Fresh, authentic and that original green salsa! It may be small, but you have to give it a try. This place is a very quiet goldmine for authentic mexican seafood constantly with a line outside the door for waiting customers. I'm new to yelp... When i saw this place with zero ratings i couldn't believe it....I eat here about 4 -5 times a month the best seafood I've ever tasted...I have been around with seafood being being my favorite food and I've paid twice as much at other restaurants for half the taste. If you like mexican food and seafood you have to try this place. They have homestyle mexican "antojitos" and the food is authentic mexican not a wanna be. Found this place on Yelp. Very small place. I was greeted with surprise as it appeared they have never seen a 6'7 white guy walk in. I believe the owner was there and all the staff was very friendly. I ordered a ceviche tostada and chicken burrito. Both were amazingly authentic and home made. The ceviche was particularly tasty. Cash only place. I paid 9$ for all that food. After I ordered my food I asked to use the restroom and I had to walk through the kitchen to get to the restroom. I looked around the kitchen area and it was disgusting! It was morning time so I know it didn't get dirty from today. Everything looked dirty from the floor to the walls to where they prepare the food. The restroom was even worse! How do they allow people to see how dirty they are!! I got a couple tacos and my hand made tortillas were chewy and the meat was cold. The onion and cilantro was obviously not from today. Mariscos Nayarit is a small restaurant without much seating, but the food all looked great. I ordered menudo, which had good flavor (with very well cleaned tripe) and a jamaica. The menu was not in English, so be ready for that. read more

The Aguachile was made perfectly with huge portions. The shrimp covered in salsa verde made me feel like I was back in San Blas and the gentleman there was very friendly and made me feel right at home. This restaurant may be small but freshness and taste is much better than the other bigger places. By the way, other restaurants nearby use dry red chiles in their aguachiles, who does that? There was one reviewer that said he asked if the food was fresh and got a rude answer, any self respecting owner would have done the same to this guy. Try the food first, then leave the review. A hole in the wall with amazing home made Mexican food. The best was the tostada De ceviche. I also had taco De governador with home made tortilla. We tried camarones empanizados, large shrimps. Very reasonable prices. It's a very small place with 4 tables and they don't have AC but honestly the food was so good it didn't bother me. This is definitely our new spot when we go to Disneyland. I loved everything about the place. It might be in a little center with not much going on in the way of looks but seriously amazing fish soup. I mean Jo joke the food was amazing. I had to grab some food for my family in town and it was OK the way home. The amount of fish was huge. The broth was fresh. The burritos were good.
