First time here and it didn't disappoint! The shrimp cocktail is sooo good. 10/10. Service was also very attentive and amazing. Will definitely be coming back.

Nothing special.

Came in to sit down for a quick lunch. 35 mins to make enchiladas during lunch time? That's actually wild. Had to take the food to go and still left a tip. Chicken was dry and overcooked. Enchiladas were plain and not very good, veggies were bland. If you want mediocre Mexican, this is your go to spot.

Here is the chilaquiles verdes plate.

Food was a 10/10. Service was great also, super friendly and quick. We did go a bit early so it wasn't busy but overall ambiance was nice!

Decided to try out this new business that opened recently around me and everything was stellar. I walked past them once and they weren't very busy and decided to look them up and saw only good reviews. The chips I can tell are made in house and the salsa is so spicy but yummy. The soup has a spicy ish seafood taste but I really liked it too. Torta was good with good portions and came with avocado! Very lovely. They definitely deserve more business, a lot of care is placed into the food

Excellent service and food. All of the food was perfectly cooked and came out quickly very large portions and so delicious. The ambience was great, cute decor, mellow music and live musicians who played a few songs.

mole plate (lunch special)

Food: Ordered the lunch special (mole plate). The order also came with complimentary chips, salsa, and a soup. Mole itself was tasty. Chicken was tender. Tortillas were thick (thicker than the normal ones you buy at the grocery store). That said, lunch was almost 20 bucks (18.00) for two pieces of chicken and sides. Food is good but it can be a tad pricey. Service was good. Very friendly. Answered all my questions in a kind manner. No complaints. Ambience: Beach themed inside. Outside looks a bit normal. Overall a very nice family owned restaurant. Definitely worth it to try to place out!

Aguachiles y Taco Al Gobernador

Absolutely amazing mariscos spot! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The chips and salsa were perfect, nice and crunchy with a good level of spice. The music was also my fav-chill Spanish music that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The aguas frescas were incredibly refreshing and delicious. We ordered the aguachiles, filete a la diabla, taco de gobernador, and a tostada de pulpo, and every single dish was packed with flavor! My mom's favorite was definitely the filete a la diabla, the spiciness was spot on hehe A huge plus is that the tortillas are handmade, which really takes everything to the next level. You can truly taste the quality and care in every bite. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic, flavorful seafood with great vibes and amazing service. We'll definitely be back! (They even gave us complimentary ice cream towards the end, so sweet!)

The food was excellent! Freshly opened when I got here, found it through Yelp and as usual wasn't disappointed. Good service, pleasant and unusual custom made decore. Overall a pleasant experience. I live out of state so probably won't be able to come back, but I encourage others to try this place out and help them succeed.

It's the kind of place where you order "just a few things" and suddenly the entire table is covered in food. Interior is small, but that's to be expected from this small shopping strip. Server was very good! He was attentive and kind. Food came out a little slow, but he was apologetic and we didn't mind. The lemonade is sooooo good, and prices for everything is so reasonable! Got the platter of shrimp, clams, and mussels and it was enough for me, my husband, and one of my kids. Also got some rice, corn, and two kids wings, which was also very good and fresh. Everything was delicious. Shrimp was huge and fresh. We only got garlic butter because we didn't want it to be too spicy for our son, but would like to try the Daddy Sauce (garlic butter and Cajun). We will definitely be back! Our kids enjoyed the experience as well!!!

A friend and I went on a search for seafood locally. We found this place, Boil daddy and decided we…read moreshould go because of the seafood and the Cajun-style seasoning along with a seafood boil. The place has a basic setup of table and chairs and each table is covered with white butcher paper. I had blacked shrimp on skewers, boiled eggs, and fried instant noodles. The shrimp came with a buffalo dipping sauce. The place is in an unassuming small strip mall. The place is quiet, and family run. The place has a busy vibe to it. That is to say there are diners, pickup orders, and food delivery going on. It does take a bit longer to get the food. So, I was anticipating shrimp on skewers that were blackened and well seasoned. What they mean is deep fried and well seasoned. The dipping sauce was good and boiled eggs are boiled eggs. The shrimp had a nice crunch to them and were not soaked in oil. The fried instant noodles are surprisingly bland. I asked for more buffalo sauce to dress it a bit, but to no avail. This is a dish that needs a heat scale with the seasoning. The noodles are well prepared and the texture is perfect, but they were served luke warm and with only Tabasco sauce on the table. Also, my friended order the shrimp boil over rice and found the potatoes undercooked. This place is worth the money and with a few adjustments on seasoning, remembering that blackened shrimp or any food has a chard appearance to it and does not come to the table as fried food. When I'm back in Anaheim, I will return to Boil Daddy, it will try a different location, since this is a chain restaurant.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. We arrived at the restaurant and the cashier helped us right away. We got our order in a brown takeout bag and grabbed a few of their bibs & gloves. The bag definitely felt heavy. They double bagged our order so it would not spill whatsoever. They also gave us a bunch of sliced lemons and two containers of salt & pepper. Let me tell you, these shrimps were BIG. They were very meaty and super flavorful. I adored the seafood boil sauce that it comes in because it had SO much garlic and I really liked how tasty this was. The shrimp absorbed all the flavor, but it did not stop us from dipping it in more of the sauce to make it even more tasty! We even squeezed some of the lemon into the bag as well. It is such a messy meal, but so fun if you're a seafood lover. I think it's worth trying if you have never tried a seafood boil before. This was more of a Vietnamese-Cajun styled seafood boil, so I found it to be even more tastier!
