Our server was great and had great recommendations. I loved the food especially those shrimps! Omg! So good! We got here on a Saturday night and there were other people dining with us as well. Tried for the first time recently and we will be going back! The service was extremely fast we got seated right away and then food and drinks came out quickly. The food was delicious!! The portions were amazing (we both took leftovers home). I will say it is a little pricier than some other places I have been but for the quality and amount it seemed worth it. read more

Coming from Colorado, this was just ok. The Paloma was good, but the sauce on the enchilada was very tomato-y. Service was good, and the ambiance was that of most other chain restaurants (not sure of this place is a chain or not, it just felt that way). Good chips, though! read more

The Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Our order was out very quick and the food was warm. Not quite the South-West Mexican food I hope for but it was quite good and had plenty of flavor but little to no heat. Pricing was average in light of every other restaurant in the area. So my husband and I went here and got food that is usually some of our favorites. It was absolutely the worst Mexican food either one of us has ever eaten! I do not reccomend this particular restaurant. We've been to El Camp in other locations and I have to admit it was a bit bland for our taste. The ground beef for the tacos tasted like it wasn't seasoned at all. Bot overall it isn't too bad and we just weren't in the mood for LJS today. Anyway I got the 3 cheese enchiladas and refried beans and unsweetened iced tea with lemon and I added SwNLow. He ordered chicken quesadilla supreme which had guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, refried beans and pico with a side of rice and diet coke. The only thing that tasted good of mine was the iced tea. The ranchero sauce on my enchiladas was downright nasty and the refried beans had a strange flavor that I've never tasted at their other locations we've been to or any other Mexican restaurant not to mention it was complete mush not one whole bean. My husband's meal was awful too. His rice wasn't cooked all the way so it was crunchy! He didn't like his chicken quesadilla at all. He said it tasted odd and was just barely edible. Let me tell you my husband says he'll try anything once and even if it wasn't good he'd still eat it because he's not about to waste food or money. He is the least picky eater I've ever met. He did not like any part of his meal but by God he will eat every bite lol. To top it off our server was not the friendliest person. She only asked if we needed anything else one time. Right before she handed us our check. She checked on what I'm guessing were her tables of regulars pretty often and laughed and joked with them. You know the customers that go to a place fairly regularly. To make matters worse we both felt sick when we left there. We were both nauseous all the way home. We're never going back there again! I am a vegetarian-vegan, and they say they have vegetarian dishes, upon further questioning I found out they cook the vegetarian food on the same surfaces as they cook the meat, so hence it is not vegetarian, I have to be careful I get sick from meat, service was good, and getting seated was prompt but will not return sadly read more

I've eaten here about 3x and the portions are large and very tasty. They crush most other Mexican restaurants although I don't care to support corporate establishments. The margaritas are always on point. The prices are a bit higher but everything is amazing so worth the bit higher prices. The chicken/beef burrito is huge and probably my favorite. read more

As much as I love Mexican food & want to patronize local restaurants, this was a horrible experience. I'm very, very patient for service because we own a bar. Got seated, 10 minutes, no service. Finally ordered margaritas, took so long. Food took so long. Ordered guacamole dip, no regular guacamole on menu. I assumed I was getting guacamole as there was no description on the menu. It came out as a light green bowl full of onions. Looks like it was guacamole mixed with some sour cream to make it a light color. So bad, if I knew this I wouldn't of ordered it. Our server never came over to check on us. I couldn't wait to get out of there. The place was packed & I guess there wasn't enough staff. Stopped in for the Tuesday Taco special. The menu board says $1.50 a taco. Ordered 3 tacos and was overcharged. Also, charged $1 for take out. Not sure way it is more expensive for take out. Received some chips and salsa with the tacos. Chips were pretty good but the salsa is very plain with little taste. Definitely needs some peppers. The tacos were very simple with meat, lettuce and some queso fresco. The meat had some flavor but the taco was just not something I would order again. Anyway, Happy Taco Tuesday. read more

My family went for dinner 5 adults and 3 kids (6,2,7mo). all ordered drinks at 6:30, drinks came Out at 7, ordered food at 7 and was told at 8:20 that we only ordered 15 minutes when we I went to ask and to get another round of drinks and we should be lucky that it's coming up sometime Soon. When there was 4 adults in total in the restaurant other than our group. (None of which were there when we entered) Your welcome for the $60 in drinks and the $15 you decided it was worth tacking on for gratuity. Which the server made sure he made clear I'm putting your gratuity on" this places service and customer service is by the worst I've ever seen. We will never go back. should have went to El Paso up the street would have had the same type of food but way better service, Sometimes the convenience of a location isn't worth it. read more

My first visit. I ordered enchilada and tamale combo. Both came covered in "enchilada" sauce which was really a brown gravy more suitable for baked chicken and mashed potatoes. It was nothing like any enchilada sauce I have ever had or made. And, it does not belong on a tamale, that is just wrong. I don't think it was a real tamale, I don't think it began its life wrapped in corn husk like a proper tamale should. I would have asked for a tamale without brown sauce if my server had come by but she never did until after the meal with the check. The staff that greeted me and seated me were very nice but my waitress was a woman of few words. The food was not bad, just not good Mexican food. I won't go back. read more

I decided to give this restaurant a try for a takeout meal. I have never seen such a messy, soggy burrito in my life. They put the tortilla on the bottom...and just dumped the ground beef and chicken on top of it, that was soaked in sauce, then just tossed a few tomatoes and a whole bunch of lettuce on top of that. This is the second -- and last -- time that we have come to this restaurant. The first time was quite nice and everything went well. The second time? Not so much! The FOOD is good, but the SERVICE is horrific! While we were waiting to be seated, several waiters came up to the front register to ring up customers, but studiously ignored our presence. There did not appear to be a hostess/host available to seat anyone. We were about to leave when a waiter finally acknowledged us. We were then seated at a table that had a direct cold draft from the front door. Granted, we did ASK for a table, not knowing how cold it was to sit in that particular spot. At least there were no issues when we requested a different place to sit! The waiter took our order after about 10 minutes; then we waited...and waited...and waited...and waited...to be served. Over an hour later, we STILL had not received our order, yet the party sitting at the next table (who had come in after us) WAS fed along with a LARGE boisterous group of young teens and their parents, but we were still waiting. We finally left after sitting there for greater than 1.5 hours -- waiting to be served and no sign of the waiter. My husband was kind enough to leave some money for the drinks and extra dip, but that was ALL. BTW, I had not used the bathroom, but my 8 y.o. granddaughter said that it were very gross. It's a shame; we had really been looking forward to eating there a second time, but we will not be returning. read more

The smell is overwhelming! I think they have glade air fresheners everywhere, which isn't appetizing and a bit concerning. Food is good! Service is good! However, due to the overwhelming air freshener smell, I probably won't go back or will at least order take out. read more

We normally dine inside and when we do, we order the Shrimp tacos, which is very flavorful AND, most of all, a good portion of shrimp is added to each taco (3). Not bad for a $17 plate. A couple of nights ago we ordered the Shrimp tacos 'to-go'. When we got home and opened our orders, we found that each taco had only 3 pieces of shrimp and at the same price of $17 per order. WHAT? So if I dine in I will receive the generous portion of shrimp with my taco, but if I order the 'to-go' plate I'm cheated? Why not; it's not like the customer is going to turn around and return the order. This 'bait and switch' will not encourage me to eat-in. What it does tell me is this particular restaurant has not dedication to their customers and is willing to rip you off on your take-out order. Bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). Took visiting out of town family here for dinner. I had previously got a wonderful meal at lunch time via DoorDash. I realize many places are short staffed- however, it took over 30 min to get drinks once being seated. Which tasted like there was zero alcohol in them. We for queso 3x before getting it. All of our meals came out wrong, but after waiting over an hour for food- we ate it out of being very hungry. They wouldn't make my kiddo a plain bean burrito but would bring me tortillas and beans on a plate. Our check was wrong, charged too much. Wasn't the best in person experience. Came here on a Friday evening for an early dinner. It looked empty from the outside, but there were a few tables of people. The entire staff were all very nice and pleasant, making sure we had full glasses of water and anything we needed. The food was delicious, ample portions and reasonably priced. Arrived and waited for 15-20 minutes to be seated. In that time, multiple wait staff walked by multiple times and tried their best to stare at the floor. Finally got seated and waited another fifteen to twenty minutes to get drinks, (two waters and one iced tea). Then we finally got the menu and some chips and a half cup of salsa. I like the salsa. We ordered some queso Blanco because you must. After about another twenty minutes the waiter showed up to take our orders, without making note of the order. At this point we were still cordial and friendly. So, we ordered, and proceeded to wait over an hour. At the end of this hour, two families of four and a large group of about 15 high schoolers with chaperones from a ball game came in and were seated. Then we watched as these various groups started getting served ahead of us, with a no show from our waiter for this hour. After about fifteen more minutes of trying to get waitstaffs attention we decided to leave. I left three bucks - two ninety-nine more than I should have - for the tea and Queso. I had hopes of this place being good as I've been to two of the other locations and they were. But I'll never go back to this one. The nachos supreme looked like someone threw up on tortilla chips, between the boiled chicken, mound of lettuce and refried beans, and the watery "cheese" that was spilling over the sides of the plate, never mind the random slice of tomato thrown on the top for a little bit of color I guess. After those came out I still tried to be positive and while the enchiladas I got next were appealing to look at, they too had boiled chicken, but this time it came with the bones. On top of the food being bad, the lighting is so bright in the dining room it was like being in a hospital, and you can clearly see where they cut corners on the remodeling they did from the previous restaurant.
