    Patatas bravas

I have been to Spain more than half a dozen times and this is now one of my favorite places! The service, food, value and overall vibe are incredible. I had The scrumptious ham croquette and moist omelette, followed by very generous portion of patatas bravas and a signature tapa, duck nest. It was my favorite! I stood at the bar bc it was packed and I was alone and didn't want to take up a table and I wanted to see what was going on from a great vantage point. Jordy my bartender took excellent care of me! I may even come back later tonight!

    Best restaurant in sitges!

This place is phenomenonal. Best tapas in town. Always really busy with crowds standing on the street outside eating tapas and drinking a glass is catalonia wine. I was here 3 years ago and came to ensure that my memories of the fantastic experience here were accurate and I was not disappointed. We had the best patatas bravas ever. Cod fritter were like little cod flavoured clouds. We shared the duck tapa dish which was moist and delicious. The croquettes with ham went down a treat. Creamy and full of flavour. The house red comes chilled. Service was engaging but not annoying. Takes a while to get a table. But seriously worth the wait. Highly recommended.

The place is packed starting at 7pm on Tuesday night. People wait outside drinking and eating. We waited 40minutes for a table of 5. Their tapas are small but delicious so make sure order enough. Also, the price is very reasonable. Our bill came out around 65€. Everything we ordered was great. Enjoyed chicken fingers, cod fritters, fried little squid, McCable mini burger. Least favorite was pork cheek. Good sangria.

Food was ok, not great. We have had better tapas in other places. Good, friendly service. May not go back.

I happily order patatas bravas, a sirloin and eggplant combo, another eggplant tapas, and fingers de pollo.

With reservations a must, six of us finally got to try La Picara. There are a variety of tapas, ponchos and raciones on their menu. We tried a lot of them, and everything was delicious with the possible exception of Sepia a la Plancha, grilled squid which was too tough and chewy. Do NOT neglect to see their "Suggeriments fora de Carta" on a chalkboard. Most every off-the-chart suggestion we tried was exceptional, with my favorite actually being Tomaquets de Temporada amp Burratina í old D'Alfabrega. This was probably the best Burrata and Tomatoes serving I've ever tasted. It must be their spiced basil oil. The other standout special was a delicious Pintxo de Foie a la Plantxa, luxurious grilled foie gras skewer. A couple of drag queens came in promoting their show. They were a hoot at our table. Paola, the owner, was so kind and gracious. Service was fantastic. La Picara is definitely a must try during your time in Sitges!

This popular small restaurant only has a few tables and bar counter seating, so reservations are a must. I've been here over the years and it is amazing every time. The ever-changing menu, that looks typed from an old Royal typewriter, usually lists about 9 tapas and 3 desserts. All are sharable. Seven of us came for dinner and we ordered 2 of every tapa, and re-ordered several of our favorite ones. Tapas were bursting with spices and unique flavor combos, a party in your mouth! My personal favorites: 1. Seabream sashimi with lime, coriander, sweet potato, chili. So delicious, my absolute fav, it was one of our re-orders. 2. Roasted cod, coconut pil-pil, beetroot, harissa, dill. Excellent and another re-order. 3. Anchovies 00, leeks, black olives, manchego. I never had anchovies with shaved cheese before. Yum! 4. Steak Tartar Oriental. Heavenly, I think we re-ordered twice. Seriously, there was not one tapa we would have eliminated out of nine. Even the Patatas Bravas were another level delicious from other Sitges restaurants. We washed it all down with several bottles of wine. Unfortunately, there is a hard-stop 90 minute table limit, and by the time coffee and dessert was offered, we only had 10 minutes, so we skipped. Despite of this food pacing error, service was friendly, personable and excellent.
