    Tapas
    Moien A.

Great selection of tapas. Cheap amazing selection of wines/ 2-3 € per glass. I think they have food too, but we went at 8:30 pm on Sunday so there was no menu item basically. It is self serve and items are priced differently, you pick them up and the skewer tells them how much to charge you. Fun experience and good stuff.

We love this tapa place! The food is fresh and cheap, with a lot diversity. The small tapa is only 1.6 euro each. The waiter is extremely kind and welcoming. The shrimp tasted very fresh and soft with garlic sauce. We were very happy to try this local place.

My first experience with tapas - loved it! This place has a super range of tapas plus an a-la-carte menu - and the wines are really good too. Great team and really good value. Everything is beautifully presented and fresh and tasty. We were here 3 times this week cos it's soooo good!

The food is amazing, the environment is traditional Spanish loads of tapas to chose from and a great lunch menu for 13,50serving two courses

This is an amazing real Spanish place. The food was amazing and a great deal when you can chose from the several available tapas or the combined menu where you get your first and second dish for only 13.50 desert and drink included! I would come back to this place in a heart beat! Lively recommend the solomillo and the entrecot if you love meat

WOW is an understatement. Came here after reading the Yelp reviews and all I can say is that the place will have me looking to come back here, even if I have to fly halfway around the world. There were several items that we tasty, and for someone who doesn't speak Catalan, it can be a challenge trying to figure out what you're getting. All I can say is, be adventurous. Try things you don't recognize. One particular item appears to be some sort of lightly warmed liver or some other organ meat on top of a jam spread, then drizzled with a balsamic reduction. Can I say, orgasmic? YES!! Come to this place, leave amazed.

You take the "pintxos" from the bar that you want, as tapas, save the toothpicks, which the waiter counts, to figure your bill.

I don't usually put much credence in reviews by American tourists of "simple" European eateries, but a Spanish friend & I came across this hole-in-the-wall restaurant specializing in a Spain-wide favorite, Basque cuisine, as well as typical Spanish offerings like gazpacho. Everything tastes "home-made," prepared with love and served, Basque style, by a burly, attentive, but un-smiling waiter. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Very good tapas, elegantly presented. Serve yourself. Grab a plate and dive in. Be adventurous. You won't be disappointed and it makes for a far better anecdote (and memory) when you return home. Don't like anchovies? Try them anyway. You have zero to lose except regret. The atmosphere is very nice and stylish in a woodsy, Spanish way. The staff is friendly and helpful. Attracts locals and many tourists. But the tourists are of the knowledgeable variety.

With reservations a must, six of us finally got to try La Picara. There are a variety of tapas, ponchos and raciones on their menu. We tried a lot of them, and everything was delicious with the possible exception of Sepia a la Plancha, grilled squid which was too tough and chewy. Do NOT neglect to see their "Suggeriments fora de Carta" on a chalkboard. Most every off-the-chart suggestion we tried was exceptional, with my favorite actually being Tomaquets de Temporada amp Burratina í old D'Alfabrega. This was probably the best Burrata and Tomatoes serving I've ever tasted. It must be their spiced basil oil. The other standout special was a delicious Pintxo de Foie a la Plantxa, luxurious grilled foie gras skewer. A couple of drag queens came in promoting their show. They were a hoot at our table. Paola, the owner, was so kind and gracious. Service was fantastic. La Picara is definitely a must try during your time in Sitges!

We had traveled from the US to finalize all details on a prior trip and everything seemed squared away. The day of the dinner came and the actual dinner was converted to a "standing happy hour" without our consent. The staff hid the chairs in back of the tables against the wall so all guest didn't have access to it. I had a pregnant guest part of my bridal party that obtained a chair and they told her she could not sit and had to stand. The service was atrocious and as the couple we were embarrassed for this treatment because the dinner was to show our appreciation to our guest . Also it came with a hefty price tag. We complained and all they did was bring the chairs to the front of the tables and offered an extra drink at the end. It was awful and a waste of money. The staff needs to learn to be more understanding and solution driven. DO NOT DINE HERE. Pretty views but not worth the hassle.
