After the energy audit and bathroom venting, air sealing, and insulation work, it is now the same temperature as the rest of the house and 50% humidity all the time! And the hvac system is no longer straining to keep up! This was worth every penny. Do not go with a cheap quick fix. Scott and team really care and can be trusted. They did what they said they were going to do. And it worked. Priceless.

However, the evaluation mainly focused on upstairs ducts, and bathroom vents, but didn't address my primary concerns. When I received the quote, it was extremely high, so I decided to go with a different company--a decision I ultimately regretted. When I tried to return and schedule service with the company, I was told Luke doesnt work there anymore, so I was assigned to Ben. I requested to do another energy audit because the initial evaluation didnt provide CFM readings from Living Room and Dining room which is a colder area of the house. He was going to charge another $595 for another full audit, I asked for a discount and he said no. He said its not needed as he has all the information. When I agreed, he emails me back the following day to cancel because I had previously hired another provider due to Budget reasons. I find it disappointing that service would be refused based on my past decision to explore other options. This approach doesn't reflect the level of customer care I would expect.

It did take some time for them to respond to my numerous requests, but the result was that they showed that my initial trust in them was warranted. I will continue to do business with them, AND recommend them to anyone seeking a solar energy vendor, as well as anyone seeking to improve their home's energy efficiency.

In my case, that timeline was not met, and I had to request an extension, which I understand may or may not be approved. I potentially lost funding for thousands of dollars. The installation process took significantly longer than originally indicated. My project began in August of last year, and I did not receive permission to operate until mid-April of this year. in my experience, communication was inconsistent, with delays in responses and updates. In early to mid-March, I reached out multiple times and was told there were no updates. After escalating my inquiry, I was later informed that a visit had already been scheduled for the following week, which I had not previously been made aware of. This was confusing and raised concerns for me about how scheduling was communicated. Why are they making in house access appointment without ever confirming with me and telling me no appointment has been made at the same time? During one visit, I observed that the door was left open for periods of time in very cold weather (in the 20s °F), despite my requests to keep it closed. When I raised these concerns, I felt that my feedback was not fully acknowledged, as the responses I received focused more on explanations than on addressing the issues I had raised. Overall, my experience was frustrating and did not meet my expectations for professionalism.

Out of 5 days of spray foam work, they only did real work once. Also, they almost killed our cat by using the wrong foam, despite telling them he would be home. Warning sign #1 - Hal arrived 20 minutes late but I thought oh well things happen. Warning sign #2 - When I showed him where the attic hatch was he informed me he didn't have a ladder and asked if I had one he could use. Warning sign #3 - Hal then informed me that the light on his phone wasn't working well and asked if I had a flashlight he could borrow. After supplying Hal the items needed he finished and gave me an estimate. Afterwards I had several questions and tried to reach Pride Insulation. I left several voice mail and email messages. No response. Finally, I left a deserved review on Yelp and quickly received a call from Hal (Pride Insulation). Hal said that this review would hurt their business and asked if there was anything he could do to help the situation. I explained that I had called and sent email and had no response. And if this is how they treat a potential customer image what kind of response you would get if there were problems once the job was finished. Hal agreed to work and correct the problems. We agreed for him to do the work on Monday February 27, 2017. I paid him 50% after he argued that he usually gets 100% of the money up front! Hal then said he would call me the next day to set up the insulation install. So I waited all day Tuesday. All day Wednesday. All day Thursday. No call. Tonight, Thursday evening I called Hal and canceled any insulation install and requested a refund of the deposit. Be careful doing business with any insulation company that: (1) Arrives late with no call. (2) Doesn't have a ladder. (3) Needs to borrow a flashlight. (4) Won't return phone calls or email. (5) Asks for 100% deposit. (6) Doesn't do what they say they will do.
