They committed to starting the project right away so that the work would be done before we moved in several days later. As promised, once closing day came an estimator for SR was at the house within an hour of me receiving the keys and was able to take specific measurements and pictures. A couple of hours later we had a detailed quote and agreed to move forward. They said they would be there 7am the next morning. Little did I know they would show up with a small Army to make good on their promise to have the work done before we moved in. The team moved quickly and efficiently. I exchanged numbers with the foreman so that they could easily text any questions. The team was very professional - worked diligently and most importantly they took the time to explain what they were doing and gave me options and recommendations for solutions to challenges that arose. The team consisted of many specialized skills that were brought in when needed. They did an excellent job coordinating who was needed when and made sure no time was wasted. Trim specialists were brought in to tie into the existing trim in the former living room and a hardwood flooring specialist was brought in to tie into the existing floors for where the pony wall once stood. It seemed like everyone on the team enjoyed working there and with each other and they all had direct access to the owner Sam to keep him up to speed and make sure I was happy with the work. I appreciated being able to check in with Sam a couple of times and he went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the solutions his team came up with. At the end of the day the team worked long days to create a much more usable house for us and meet their promise of finishing their work by the time we moved in. Their work has transformed the house for us and had made it so much more usable. As we settle in (and save up some more $$) we can't wait to have Sam and his team at SR transform other parts of the house for us!!

We have hired SR to do many things in our house - flooring, bathroom remodeling, garage dry wall…read morerepairs, etc . Their initial quote is always competitive, however, as the work makes progress, you will find many things that were not included in the original estimate. Therefore, if you're not knowledgeable enough, your final quote might end up being much higher than the initial estimate. For example: we paid almost 10K+ to remodel one room and they left one wall unfinished because they said it was not included (we thought it was). So make sure you have all the nitty gritty details written down in your estimate to avoid confusion later. Also, their work hasn't stood the test of time. We noticed many things have started to fall apart not too long after the work was completed - example : our LVP is peeling off in low traffic areas, leakage under the shower door and under sink, multiple door hinges have already broken, the floor has uneven spots despite paying extra to flatten it, etc. The work looks nice in the beginning but after a while you'll start noticing where they made compromises to make it "affordable". In terms of communication, they are pretty responsive. We haven't had major issues with Alexa, Sam, Camilo, Dan other than occasional misalignment between everyone.

Quality - Work as pictures show, it's beautiful. All the lines angles and perfection that would exceed your expectations. Materials used were at par with industry standards and waterproofing was also perfect. Even glass installer were surprised how precise the lines were. 5. Stay away from HaiJoe!! After much research and consideration, I hired HaiJoe to complete a full…read moredeck rebuild. However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.
