Food is always ready on time for me, store is nice & clean out of any other store in my opinion . Manager always helps.

New bagel place in Walnut located at the same plaza as homegoods! I got the farmhouse egg sandwich and my bf got the brisket egg sandwich. Finally an Einstein's Bros. closer to my home. I've had to drive to Pasadena for years. I tried the West Covina location but the bagels there are not the same quality and selection. This location is a nice size with plenty of seating inside and out. I believe as the employees get more experience the service will improve. To be clear Einstein bagels don't compare to a really good New York bagel but for me you can't beat the taste,selection and value compared to other local bagel shops. I'm sure there are great bagels in other areas like the San Fernando Valley or Fairfax area that might be better tasting but definitely not for the price. read more

Please tell me why it takes 50 minutes to prep our online order or 2 sandwiches and 1 bagel shmear!! This place has the worse customer service, place is always dirty, no one pays attention to anything. Today, Didn't see my order on the shelf after 30 minutes of when it was supoosed to be ready., Asked twice, the same worker kept saying it's there, but didnt even bother checking because obviosuly if it was there, I wouldn't be asking you. Another lady said it would be 5 more minutes, and 20 minutes later, i get my order finally. Wth?? Been here multiple times and each time, they just go down the list. Train your employees better. Decided to try this place out after I had a graveyard shift since it's open early and haven't regretted it. There is a great selection of bagels here and the worker here helped me even with my dumb questions. 2 stars only because I love the bagels. But the customer service here? Jesus christ. Had an order for 2 dozen of bagels placed around 10am-11am for pickup at 1:20-1:30 and sure enough they let me know they're out of everything bagels WHEN IM THERE TO PICK UP. My order has been placed for the past 2-3 hours and you're just now letting me know when i'm there to pick up? Even then... if they knew they had a decently big order placed they should have set my bagels aside or prepped enough to fulfill my order along with the instore customers. When asked what other bagels I wanted to replace the everything's we tell her to just put any in there, that it's okay but then we get the most dumbfounded face by the younger girl at the register who can barely provide any convenient customer service. While waiting we order only ONE coffee, which then is ready after 10 minutes of waiting even though there are FOUR people back therebetter yet I had to ASK them if it was being made before he even batted an eye towards the POS. It's terrible to see, especially as me being GM for a fast-casual restaurant... No sense of urgency, no critical thinking. read more

Brand new Walnut location. The space is large with chairs and tables to sit down and have your breakfast. Tons of bagel options but they do go quick so it's best to get there early. Staff is helpful and customer service is on point. The orders came out faster than other EBB locations in the area. If all you make are bagels then how hard is it to make a plain bagel sandwich? Why did you make all the sandwiches I ordered for my team on wheat. They all work in a hot warehouse and get Hangry! I had to apologize to them and show them the receipt to prove I ordered correctly. Einstein's the one who can't make a proper bagel sandwich to save their life. What happened to their bagels?! I got a burnt pretzel bagel, my co workers ALL got WHEAT! they ordered plain because no one likes the taste of cardboard. We all got cardboard wheat on Lox and bacon egg, but we ordered PLAIN. Came into the store around 9 AM, so it was busy, but it wasn't anything too hectic. The indoor store was clean and well lit for the early morning. Placing my order they had a few new breakfast bagels that looked great, especially the one with Chorizo. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and made sure to help out each guest. Ordered one sandwich and it took about 10 minutes before it came out. Unfortunately, the sandwich betrayed everything leading up to it. The bagel was wrong and quite soggy, even immediately after getting the sandwich. This ended up affecting everything else in the sandwich with the same hot and soggy consistency with flavors being drowned out. Overall, I'm assuming my experience is a one off, but not one I'll be in a hurry to correct. read more

First of all, we've been going to Einstein for years I'll stand your customer service. The food is great there. I love their coffee. We go to the one in Pasadena. It's really nice. I just left your new location in Walnut. This is my 2nd visit, my first was the 1st weekend opened. None of the employees smile or even say hello. The 1st visit I ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese from a girl who looked half asleep. She was gazing out the window behind me while I spoke to her? I got home to find a bagel with cream cheese only? A few moments ago, I ordered a tasty turkey with NO Cucumbers. Sandra asked for my order 3 times, and then asked if I wanted chips with it.( chips come with the sandwich?) She never made eye contact with me like she was in another world? No smile, no nothing? I got home to find CUCUMBERS all over my sandwich? What are you training these people? 6 people behind the counter chatting with each other and only Sandra at the cashier register taking orders? Sad to see a new place not thriving. The facility was clean and spacious. They did have an abundant of staff on a sunday. As i walked in they had two girls setting out orange juice while there was a line and one cashier. Personally, i dont think it takes two people to put out orange juice . It was my 2nd time going and the cashier looked like she did not want to be there. Maybe because she needed help?! The breakfast sandwiches are just ok and the ice coffee was horrible! As so many people have said, the service here is awful. There were approximately 6 people "working" but really only 2 of them were moving and it seems like there was plenty to do since there was a line and a good amount of us waiting for our orders. Our cashier may have been a zombie, no hello no eye contact I think she uttered "what can I get you" and that was almost it. We had a question about the cream cheese flavors, she shrugged, we asked if one of the breakfast bagels was popular she shrugged "I like it". She did not say thank you or have a nice day or anything at all she just stared straight ahead and when she realized we didn't know if we were done she just handed us our receipt. I really don't understand how people like that get jobs and then keep them. The order took a while even though as I mentioned some workers were just standing there. There was one cashier, a young Filipino woman who was greeting customers but the one we got would just be looking down or glare at them with glazed eyes and utter annoyance. Bagel sandwich was not impressive at all. Barely any flavor even tho it was on the hash bagel and had cowboy spread or whatever it is called. Definitely nothing out of the ordinary but if I hadn't witnessed such terrible service I might actually get it again. Management these are simple things that should be taught and enforced and you need them for your business to succeed. You've only been open a few months and have terrible reviews, get rid of miserable employees who clearly don't want to be there read more

Our regular bagel store, Clearwater Bagels was on vacation, so we figured we'd give Einstein Bros a try. What a disappointment the bagels were flavor less, my everything bagel was too salty. The bagels were larger in size, but this is an instance where quality matters more than quantity. The price was a little less but I'd rather pay more for a better product. We will not be returning. I went in right before closing on Opening Day and had an amazing experience. I walked in at around 1:54pm. I had no idea they were about to close. I was trying to use the app to redeem a free coffee in store but it wasn't working. I decided to give up and I told the employee I would just come back another day. He said ok. I then walked over to Nature's juice to buy something and he followed me. He waked in a few minutes later and apologized. He said he believes their app wasn't working. He had the iced coffee and some bagels in hand. It made my day! I'm postpartum and I had been sick with a cold for a week prior. It seriously made my day. I didn't get the employee's name but he was wearing a blue shirt. He was really nice. Everyone in the store was really nice. They could have been rude or they could've given me attitude because I walked in right before closing, but they didn't. Based on customer service alone, I would return.
