Happy this new location opened up in walnut! First time going they were a little all over the place lol got my order wrong but easily fixed / corrected it so all was good! They had just opened up so no harsh blame on them. They were all still working hard so not a problem! Breakfast Sandwiches are yummy here. Very much enjoy their jalapeño cheddar bagel! That's probably my go to with cream cheese or as the base of a good breakfast sandwich can't go wrong with it! I went to grab the $10 dozen & 2 smears deal cause that's a great deal! They were super delicious, do wish they cut them a little better so that needs a bit of work. But still enjoyed them! Get the app, you get plenty of deals/ coupons thru email & are easy to use / order through the app!

I like using their reward program to see what offers are they offering. Ordered 2 sets of doze of bagels with 2 cream cheese today. Their breakfast bagel was really good too. They work really fast and it's great for when I'm rushing it to work. One thing that was a bumper was they were out of strawberry cream cheese. But overall I was happy with my visit

They were pretty busy, but they were able to get orders out within 5 minutes. I ordered a lemonade and dragonfruit drink which was the perfect sweetness and I also got a deluxe lox bagel which was really good. There was a prominence of onion and garlic flavor which was really savory, and paired well with my drink. I love how homey the inside is. It feels like a Panera. Solid location.

Delicious, quick, and friendly service. This is a great location with easy parking and plenty of seating both indoors and outside. Download their mobile app to start earning rewards, you'll even get a few freebies just for downloading that you can use same day! I thought the sandwhich was perfect, the bagel was light and flavorful and ingredients were fresh. The price was fair and my order came out quickly and accurately. Highly recommend and will absolutely be returning!

We tried Einstein Bros. Bagels in Walnut a few times and it used to be Rubio's coastal and grill location. The place is big, spacious and clean. We always like to order their Nova Lox with Everything bagels and pretzel bagels. Their bagels were delicious. I also like their orange juices. However, I'm not a fan of their hash browns because they were not crispy and tasted like potato balls to me. We are so happy that we have Einstein Bro's Bagels in Walnut.

The bagels are good I do like them and I've come here plenty of times the reason I'm giving it 2 stars is that the customer service for me has been terrible the staff often times is more focused on their own conversations and not listening to when I place my order and every time I've gotten a drink it's never done I have to keep asking since they don't focus on making them and I'm stuck waiting

I love this bagel place! The sandwiches are so good and they have a lot of bagels to choose from. I always get a farmhouse or all-nighter bagel breakfast sandwich and a caramel iced coffee. Everything is always so good. It's so cute and spacious inside and staff is very friendly and helpful. Bagels are affordable too. On days you don't feel like talking you can definitely order online and just grab the order yourself when you arrive!

This was a first time going to an Einstein Bros Bagel location. I've seen a few locations pop up around my area. This location is quite spacious. There are plenty of tables inside and a number of patio seating outside. The location is clean and all the options and bagels looked very delicious. I noticed a QR to sign up for the app to get some free rewards. The service here was fine. The cashier that I spoke with was friendly and answered questions I had about the app rewards for initially signing up. I appreciated her kindness and the time she took to help me. She mentioned to redeem rewards you need to do an online order which I ended up doing. I ordered the Oktoberfest sandwich and redeemed my free coffee and waited in store until it was ready. The order took about 10 minutes to complete. The gentleman working was very engaged and calling out names making sure people can hear their orders. However, other staff behind the counter also don't seem very approachable or smile much. As for the food, the Oktoberfest Egg Sandwich was just ok for me. The pictures definitely sell you on wanting to try it. But, it was underwhelming for me. The coffee was great though. I think next time I'd try just the bagel and spreads and see how that goes.

This location just opened up, and I decided to take a break from my usual bagel spot to give it a try -- glad I did! I've been here three times in the past month, and each visit has been a great experience. First visit: I tried the Oktoberfest Breakfast Sandwich -- eggs, ham, bacon, Swiss cheese, beer cheese schmear, and a drizzle of mustard on a toasted pretzel bagel. Flavorful and absolutely delicious! Second visit: I went for something lighter -- the Bacon, Avocado, and Tomato Egg White Sandwich on an ancient grain bagel. Superb choice! Not too heavy and perfect for a healthier option. Third visit: I ordered a baker's dozen bagels and a coffee tote for the office. I placed the order online the night before, scheduled for an 8:00 AM pickup. When I arrived, they couldn't find my order at first -- even though I had already paid. Once I showed my e-receipt, they handled it quickly and professionally. Great service and resolution! I've seen some negative reviews about the service, but I've had nothing but positive experiences. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. Einstein Bros. Bagels has definitely made it onto my list of breakfast go-to spots. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should!

Good service, lots of variety, clean seating inside but it was nice to enjoy eating our bagels on the outside tables right in front of the store where we could see the fountain.

I've never been a bagel guy. I reckon that's because the decent bagel shops have always been a freeway ride and more away from me. I never had a Bruegger's, West Coast, or Einstein Bros. within a five minute drive for me. It would have always involved a serious amount of effort and time. That's why I'm glad they opened an Einstein so close to me. I've had it over the years--most recently in Utah--and I think it's a solid chain for when one is in the mood for a breakfast bagel like I was this morning. My sausage and cheddar was super scrumptious, and I was much appreciative for the solid pour of endless coffee available here. The bagels here look so plump and fresh and inviting compared to the limp examples I get from the grocery store. The staff was alright. They were a little curt, but that's understandable with the good-sized line that was formed behind me. It was not enough to ruin the flow and vibe of the place. I loved that there was so much room compared to the last location I went to in Utah. It'll make coming here again for a good light breakfast and a read so much more comforting. Overall, this is a good addition to the neighborhood and one I welcome with both arms.

I went on 12/24 at 5:30am and there were plenty of bagels and the service was so quick! I was greeted right away. Everyone loved the bagels! Everything was clean and bright! Definitely would return

I visited this location a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what sandwich to try because they all look good. My favorite is the all nighter egg sandwich, I love the kick that the chipotle sauce gives it. The place is nice and clean and there's plenty of seating. They even have some tables outside, the day I went we ended up eating outside because the weather was perfect. The service was great and I'm glad they are opening more location in the surrounding area.

There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5

So trying once was enough for me. Service was attentive! Everything else was great. Will be back occasionally!

Let me start with the coffee and hazelnut latte, amazing. We were seated quickly, which was nice,…read morebut then it took about 10-15 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. Servers kept walking past our table without checking in and honestly looked kind of lost or wandering around aimlessly. Luckily they keep water pitchers on the tables already filled, which now makes perfect sense considering how long it takes to get service. Smart move on their part. I ordered the avocado toast with a side of bacon, and my husband ordered the chorizo skillet. The coffees and my food came out quickly, but his never did. Instead, we watched an older server walk around the restaurant with his skillet and bacon, stopping at multiple tables asking if it belonged to them. Twice she set it down at other tables before being told it wasn't theirs. The third time, she finally brought it to us. That seems like it should be a health issue, what if someone else had stuck their fingers in it not knowing. By then, my husband didn't even want it anymore because it had already been sitting in front of other people. To their credit, they remade it, but then we waited another 15 minutes for his food while I had already finished eating. We actually watched another couple sitting next to us get so frustrated because their order was completely forgotten. After waiting forever with no food and barely any acknowledgment, they eventually just got up and left. Overall, cute spot and really good coffee, but the service was incredibly disorganized and the food mix-up was a huge turnoff. Unfortunately, we won't be back.

Absolutely love this place. It honestly feels like such a local hidden gem. Their breakfast…read moreburritos are so good, I literally get one every time. Their sweeter breakfast items are also huge portions and just so yummy. They do amazing dinners too, the salmon cakes are unbelievably good. They also host private dinners, which is actually what I did for my best friend's engagement dinner. Huge shoutout to the owner, Cat, who was so amazing to work with and made the whole night feel extra special. She was so patient with all my questions, made the planning process super easy, and even helped create a customized menu for our dinner. You can really tell how much care goes into this place.

Great food, front-of-house needs a bit of work…read more.. We made reservations for Mother's Day brunch a week ahead and thankfully we did as they had booked up at least 1 or 2 days before. Parking is super easy as it's in a plaza and shares a big lot with other businesses. They had a special menu, so I'm not too sure what is and is not part of their usual menu, but this is what we ordered: 1. Baltimore Crab Cakes (comes with 2): we were pleasantly surprised as it came with a side salad; the crab cakes themselves were not dry at all and came with a good amount of crab. Delicious, 5/5 2. Heirloom tomato and stone fruit salad: one of the things they pride themselves on is sourcing their ingredients locally and sustainably. You can really tell with this dish that all of their ingredients are really high-quality and fresh. The stonefruit was super sweet. The price ($18) was a bit high for the portion size, so this was a 4/5 for us. 3. Crab & tonnarelli: really good cook on the pasta; my husband is really picky on pasta that's overcooked, but this came to us perfectly al dente. There was a good amount of crab as well, so we appreciated that they didn't skimp. That said, the taste was a bit one-toned and underseasoned, which is a lot coming from us since we typically complain about food being too salty. If it came with a bit more salt, it would've been one of our favorites. 3.5 (maybe 4)/5 4. Pork sisig and garlic rice: we love sisig, so we had to order it. While it was super flavorful and delicious, we couldn't finish it on the spot since it was pretty salty and we were getting full. We did take it home and cook some more vegetables into it to dilute the salt a bit. 4/5 5. Ricotta cheese pancakes: super fluffy and airy, you can tell why they need 20 minutes to prep them. Again, the fruit they used was super fresh and sweet. Loved, no notes. 5/5 Service-wise, there were some hiccups with our orders. Our salad came to us without the burrata and when we asked them about it, it took about 3-4 people double-checking their menu to confirm it actually came with burrata, then a handful more minutes to rectify it. It seemed strange to me that they were unfamiliar with their own menu. Our pork sisig dish came out much later than every other dish and our waiter had to check up on it a few times, so it may have just gotten missed. There seemed to be a lot of people working in the front, but somehow hard to flag them down and get helped when we needed it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as it was Mother's Day and I'm sure it was busier than usual. Our waiter was also gracious in comping a drink as a result of the long wait for the sisig. Overall, we'll still come back as we want to try other dishes and we do appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and their integration of vegetables with dishes, which can sometimes be hard to come by. Just wanted to provide some feedback on service in hopes they'll take it constructively.
