OMG Einsteins... What the heck happened to your bagels...??? I used to love Einstein's Bagels and would get them to have at home and to share at work on Fridays but hadn't been there in a while and after my bagel trip yesterday, I should have stayed away. The bagels have gotten much smaller, there's hardly any toppings on there- a light sprinkle of asiago or a shake of 'everything' topping on my everything bagel. SO VERY DISAPPOINTED... And they're trying to sell these boiled & baked dough balls for over $2 each! My local grocery store has better quality bagels, topped with ample toppings and they only charge $1 to $1.25. I DO have to say that the counter guy and 2 bagel 'folks' are SUPER nice and make you feel really welcome & appreciated. As I was walking out I said "I hope you have a great day..." and the one said "I hope you have an even better one...!" That made me smile... but also wonder how bad it must be working there. I'm sorry Einstein Brothers- you need to fix this or you'll be losing alot more customers like you just lost me. BTW- All you folks complaining about your food being delivered by a Third Party Delivery Service, but you're STILL faulting the restaurant or business, you need to understand- you ordered from a Third Party Delivery Service and NOT the actual business...! The person at the cashier got mad that I accidentally paid twice the amount I was charged. I got a really good sandwich it was the chorizo sunrise. If you like avocado and want something a with a kick of spice I recommend this sandwich. Service was fast and everyone was super friendly. I didn't even interact with him but there was one guy who seemed so happy and warm. I'm only giving 4 stars because of the state of the restaurant and I don't mean cleanliness. I could see some of the equipment the employees had and it seemed broken. I had been here about a month ago and it was the same. If this is the equipment I could see I can't imagine what's broken that I can't. I've worked fast food I know what it's like to have something broken so we can't make food correctly then get yelled at for it by customers who don't know. Worst service ever. This was our first time here and the last. Guy behind counter was screaming at us to move along & stay out of the way. We were the only people there. This place is my Achilles heel. Anytime I want something warm for breakfast, I'm there. The staff is super efficient and helpful. I was embarrassed because I was still learning how to use the app, but they were good to work with me and show me how it worked. They were open to giving suggestions on other products too. That's how I ended up digging into the chocolate chip coffee cake and I have absolutely NO regrets. It's amazing. The only thing that stops me from going more often is me being too lazy to walk over from my apartment close by. That's when I normally get a bag of bagels and just keep them at home, which you can totally get for a discount with the app. Simply marvelous. Enough said. read more

Jenn is wonderful. On a very busy morning my sandwich was incorrect, and she was kind and made me a new one without hesitation. She is always great when I go, whether she is working the register or making the sandwiches. Usually she does both and does them both with grace. After much debating (which the employees patiently waited on), I chose the new Tuscan bagel littered with delicious herbs/seasoning and topped with the sun-dried tomato cream cheese - highly recommend!!! 'twas a savory and delicious experience. They have a great hot coffee selection (4 delicious flavors, 1 being decaf). I mixed the vanilla hazelnut with the dark roast and added all of their spices (nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla & cocoa) and a splash of milk (they have skim, 2% & half-and-half). For a small bottomless cup, it was only $1.79 plus tax! I got the bagel free because I joined their rewards club. Perfect way to start my day!! yeah simply put I would just never return. I don't know what it is with the damn coffee/bagel places downtown, but everyone is rude as hell. I am not the type of person who gets mad if somewhere is busy, or someone makes a mistake and gets an order wrong, but as someone who works in customer service I can not stand people being rude for no reason. There were multiple people just sitting in the back doing nothing while the line continued to build, until the one girl who was making everything had to go back and ask someone to please come up and help her. Great place for coffee breakfast and lunch. I love their bagels here as well as there coffee in the mornings. The jalapeño cream cheese is really good. Lunch is also good, they are always changing what is available and the choices are usually pretty unique compared to other places around. The people that work at this particular location are always very friendly and are smiling. If you sign up for their email news letter they usually send some pretty good deals every few weeks or so. read more

I don't understand why you guys aren't open on the weekends. The square is so busy weekend mornings/afternoons that you guys would make a killing! Bagels are delicious though, and the staff at this location is always friendly, and speedy! I would like to suggest making more French toast bagels though. Every time I've stopped in the afternoon you're sold out, you'd think you'd take the hint and make more, since you run out almost every day. It also stinks that you don't have a restroom, if you're sitting in for breakfast it's kind of inconvenient not to have restroom, especially when there are no public restrooms near by, unless you make another purchase somewhere. read more

Love this location, mainly because of the staff. They are awesome! The main downsides are that this particular location has no restroom, and very limited seating unless you enjoy sitting next to strangers. In the past, the no restroom wasn't an issue, because you could use the one in PPG place. Unfortunately, that has been converted into restaurants, that you must purchase from to use the restroom.
