Einstein Bros Bagels is a chain with locations across the U.S. Their bagels are made fresh daily and include a selection of classic, signature, & gourmet flavors. I stopped in here to pick up something for my hairdresser and decided to get a bagel for myself. The place was clean and the staff had a good groove going, which allowed them to complete orders quickly and efficiently. Orders are placed at the beginning of the counter, you pay at the end of the counter, and they will call you when its ready. There is also an area for pre-paid pick-up orders. Daniel took my order and was genuinely nice, as was Charlie the cashier. I requested a chocolate muffin for my hairdresser and a cheddar jalapeño bagel for myself. They also serve breakfast sandwiches, various shmears for the bagels, cookies, pastries, juice, and coffee beverages. Since I was saving my bagel for later, I toasted it when I got home. Pre-toast it was chewy and tasted better when toasted because the cheese and jalapeño were warm. It wasn't a NY bagel but, in terms of chains, it is one of the better ones. My hairdresser enjoyed her muffin. *Free 90 min parking in lot.

Love the birthday freebie deal because you get an egg sandwich with a purchase. The maple house bagel sandwich is very rich! I could only eat a bit at a time because it's really stacked with ingredients. The maple bagel smells and tastes yummy! I also really like the sweet cream cheese-like spread used in the sandwich. The orange juice tasted good too, it was a nice way to top off the sandwich.

We got bagels delivered to our classroom here at work and they were so delicious. My favorite was the cheddar bagel as well as the sesame seed one we got it with cream cheese and it was heavenly. It has just the right amount of chewiness and they were a little bit doughy...they are very filling. I would love to get one of their salmon bagel sandwiches next time and one of their iced coffees to go to give it a try. This was a delivery by DoorDash so I did not get a chance to actually go inside the store and check out the ambience, but that's on my bucket list at some point.

Really kind and amazing service. They're so friendly here the food was really good too. I had to one with the salmon and cream cheese. Pay your sandwich . there have New York style bagel sandwiches here which I love to get every once in a while . the bagels and the cream cheese are so good here they're so good. Nice outside patio to sit and enjoy your sandwich. absolutely amazing experience highly recommend coming here for New York style bagel sandwiches.

    Extra cream cheese

Not impressed with there extra cream cheese. Poor rush management. I would recommend buying and assembling yourself.

This is a terrible Bagel. First it seemed Day Old. Secondly the cream cheese was melted and barely there. I Would Not Reco this Spot.

I ordered the breakfast turkey sausage and bakers dozen with shmears for pick up, and I arrived to find my order ready to go. The sandwich was warm and tasty, the bagels were fresh and warm and the shmears yummy as per usual (got the onion and chives and Veggie cream cheese shmears) . I parked in the back-lot, which had an attendant who provided a time stamped ticket (I believe it said free parking 90min). The back door was only for exit, so I had to walk around to the front. The pick-up station was to the right of the entrance with everything perfectly labeled and ready to go. Customer service was a bit lacking, and It seemed a bit slow to take new orders. I wanted to order another item in store but decided not to as the ordering process was taking long with other customers. Others: There's small patio seating, well maintained with nice plants. The indoor place was clean. There's a single restroom towards the backdoor exit which needs a code to use.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too busy, which was nice. They also offer free parking with validation, which is super convenient. We ordered the Nova Lox and the bacon, avocado, tomato egg white sandwich with an iced Americano. Everything was delicious!

I wanted to bring some bagels to work and found Einstein Bagels nearby... sweet! This was my second visit at an Einstein. My first visit was at the Ontario International Airport. Upon entry, I was next in line... another sweet... I don't have to wait in line too long. Ambiance is nice... good size bagel shop. I love how they have their bagels displayed right up front at the counter where the customers can see them. They have the baker's dozen that comes with 13 bagels with 2 spreads of your choice. And that's what I got. Please note this package does not include any of their premium bagels which cost an additional $0.80 per premium bagel. Choose wisely LOL! I stuck with the non-preimums. I may try their premium bagels next time. They have one staff to assist with getting the bagels and one staff to collect payment. Staff was friendly and helpful. Btw, the spreads are right up front next to cashier for you to grab after payment or before as long as they are paid for eventually LOL. I got plain cream cheese and onion & chives... good spreads. They do have other flavors, too. Bagels were very fresh and soft. Love their sesame, cinnamon sugar signature, and french toast signature bagels. You can't go wrong with any of their bagels. They also have specialty bagels. I'll have to try one of them someday. Happy Bagel'ing! FYI They are located next door to Peet's Coffee. There's a good size outside courtyard with tables and chairs for customers to chill at with their bagels and coffee. They also have parking in the back with 90 minutes validation I think. I just parked on the street.

I finally visited the Einstein Bros Bagel chain after watching a Korean reality show featuring Se-Ri Pak. This location has limited shared parking space on S. Lake Ave. Fortunately, upon entering, I was lucky enough to find the last available spot. Unaware of the line, I went straight to the cashier and ordered two bagel sandwiches: the BACON, AVOCADO & TOMATO EGG WHITE BREAKFAST SANDWICH and the NOVA LOX. I must not have known the terminology, because after waiting for close to ten minutes, I received only one sandwich. When I asked about the second one, the cashier seemed surprised, as he thought I wanted the salmon lox package. As a first-timer, I apologized for the mix-up since I didn't know the difference and should have checked the receipt. However, the adjustment wasn't easy, as my credit card was swiped twice to make the correct modification. After waiting for almost 15 minutes, I finally received my second sandwich. I wish the cashier had asked me which bagel I wanted, as both were plain. The BACON, AVOCADO & TOMATO EGG WHITE BREAKFAST SANDWICH features fresh avocado slices, crispy bacon, and fluffy egg whites. It has a great 1:1 ratio of bread to filling. The NOVA LOX SANDWICH, the pricier option of the two, was not as impressive. I've had better lox sandwiches at a local small mom-and-pop bagel shop. It lacked an adequate amount of salmon and overall, it tasted doughy for a sandwich. Additionally, I tasted more cream cheese than anything else on this sandwich.

Country gravy and egg bagel sandwich

Placed a pick up order on Postmates for the country gravy and egg bagel sandwich. The restaurant was clean amd the staff was friendly and welcoming when I arrived. They handed the sandwich to me,looked me in the eye and wished me a good day. Very pleasant experience before 7 am. The sandwich didn't look like the picture, but it was tasty.

Had this bookmarked & noticed that a few Yelp Friends have left their reviews on here. It looks like that hometown feel type of shop but the experience today was NOT that. Service was polite but not quite that welcoming that you would feel at a mom n pops shop. It's too bad coz if it were, we would frequent this diner/cafe. Most places that we're regulars at, we feel valued as patrons and are welcomed like family. I find less and less places have this kind of atmosphere. We ordered breakfast staples; Hubby ordered a machaca combo with flour tortillas & black beans, I opted for the (2 large!) banana walnut pancakes combo with chicken apple sausage, potatoes & over medium eggs. Our food arrived timely, hot and good presentation. Hubby said the machaca was decent because having had his fair share of machaca, these passed. My pancakes were huge! Flavor was good, as the banana slices & walnuts were cooked in, not just placed on top like most places. Macadamias would've been a better pairing though. The chicken apple sausage was flavorful & eggs were cooked as requested. Noise level was somewhat loud with all the clanging as tables were cleaned/bussed around us. Overall a decent experience for our first time visit, as mentioned, if the service was more thoughtful & welcoming, it would've made the difference from a 3 star to perhaps a 4 or a 5 star. Food for thought.

The milk was smoothly integrated with the espresso, creating a balanced body that held together throughout the drink instead of separating after a few sips. It was served in the proper glass with clean presentation and solid latte art. On the positive side, the prices are reasonable, the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere, and the staff is generally attentive. Overall, it's a decent neighborhood breakfast restaurant - nothing particularly memorable, but nothing especially disappointing either. The Reyn Special - 3/5. A classic breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, hash browns, and banana bread. The eggs and bacon are fairly average, although the bacon tends to be overcooked and dry. The standout is the hash browns. They're cooked with a nicely browned, crispy crust while still remaining fairly moist inside. The real highlight, however, is the banana bread. It tastes homemade and is easily the best item on the plate. Crepes - 1/5. This dish comes as two separate plates: one with the ricotta-filled crepes and another with eggs, sausage, bacon, and your choice of fries or tater tots. Unfortunately, the crepes are the weakest part of the meal. The ricotta-filled crepes don't taste freshly made and instead resemble a pre-made food-service product that's simply reheated before serving. Both the crepe and ricotta filling have a generic flavor with noticeable artificial notes. You can choose either banana or strawberry topping, but both sauces taste overly processed and artificial. The accompanying breakfast plate is noticeably better. I chose the tater tots, which were well prepared - crispy on the outside while remaining soft inside. The bacon, however, was again overcooked and dry, making it tough to chew. The sausage was acceptable but unremarkable. Scrambled Supreme - 2.5/5. Despite the name, this is essentially an omelet. The eggs have a mild, neutral flavor, and the fillings are okay but don't stand out. Coffee - 2/5. The coffee is classic diner coffee in every sense. It's somewhat watery, heavily roasted, and finishes with a flat, slightly bitter aftertaste. It's neither particularly good nor particularly bad - just standard coffee that does the job. Overall, The Reyn succeeds as a comfortable, affordable breakfast spot with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly service. While the food is average, and several dishes rely on ingredients that taste commercially prepared rather than freshly made.

I decided to come here for a birthday celebration and ooo la la the ambiance really set the mood…read more Service was spectacularrr. I appreciated our server for constantly checking in. Now, let's get to the important part- the FOOD! -Garlic Prawns: 5/5 WOW chef's kiss. I got this because of all the positive reviews I saw on Yelp. I love love love how they left the shrimp's skin in the dish, where you could eat them like chips! They were not hard at all...and perfectly crisped! -Thai Steak Salad: 5/5 the steak MELTS in your mouth and was not chewy at all. I'm not sure how they were able to make the steak so soft and delicious. -Crying Tiger Lambchops: 5/5 I'm not a fan of lamb, but these lamb chop were deliciouso!! The sauced up lettuce side that it came with, complimented the lamb really well. -Nasi Goreng w/ Wagyu Ribeye Cap: 4/5 This Indonesian fried rice was good, but the Wagyu meat kind of tasted a bit odd, but maybe that's just me because my bf loved it. -Singaporean Chili Lobster: 3.5/5 I wasn't really a fan of this since the based flavor had such a strong tomato/ketchup taste... When I made the reservation, I politely requested if there was a way for them to make the bday celebration special, and I'm glad I wrote that because at the end of our meal, our server brought out a Pandan Crème Brulee: 5/5 !!! It was very delicious that we devoured it all! Overall I will def be back to try the oxtail dumplings that I saw people constantly ordering. Note, there is a 20% tip charge that automatically gets added to your check!

The food is pretty good and definitely unique compared to what is typically found in the SGV area…read more It's a mix of different southeast Asian cuisines together, with a Western twist. Portion sizes are great, and definitely filling. Service is a bit slow, and the food does take a while to come out.
