I went through the drive-thru and ordered a Tasty Turkey sandwich. The line moved extremely slowly, and when I got to the window, I paid and was given a box containing a pizza bagel. Very glad I looked in the bag before I left, because that was not what I ordered! When I told the employee, confusion ensued. They had no record of anyone in the line ordering a Tasty Turkey sandwich. They made my correct sandwich pretty quickly and then handed me the pizza bagel back, telling me I could keep it because otherwise they'd need to throw it away. So, that was a nice gesture. I'm very glad I got my actual sandwich, though, because I tried the pizza bagel and it was not good! The cheese was greasy and flavorless, and I didn't like the sauce at all. My Tasty Turkey was good -- you can't go wrong with that -- but they did not include the chips it was supposed to come with. I realized that too late and was not about to get back in line. So, it was a chipless lunch for me. I've ordered here a handful of times in the past and never had a problem. Not sure what was going on there today, but it must have been rough! read more

My friend finally got me to come here a little while ago and it was quite interesting to say the least. I've never put a whole lot of stock in a bagel place before because I'm so used to just getting them at the grocery store and keeping it simple like that. I am however glad to have be introduced the greater bagel culture that exists in the world. I ended getting a few items to try when I stopped in. I will say that the service felt decently efficient, so not many complaints their (3.8/5). I of course had to start with a plain bagel with a regular smear. It was very delicious and a quality taste at that (4/5). My friend tried a (toasted) power protein bagel and was fairly pleased (3.7/5). I next tried a cinnamon sugar one with strawberry smear and that was probably my favorite of the day. Sweet and delectable , 5/5 on both fronts! We both tried a pretzel bagel with butter smear (again, toasted). We both agreed it was pretty salty and that the cream cheese smear would've been a better direction to go instead of butter (3/5). I also jumped at the cinnamon bliss roll and it was really good, though a messy treat at that (4.5/5) . We also both got doggy bagels for our pooches at home and they loved them of course. We didn't spend a whole lot of time inside since we got ours to go, but It seems nice I suppose. Only a couple people were dining in, but I digress. Einstein Bros was a nice of pace for myself, but I am happy to say I has quickly become a favorite. read more

May be management change? I ordered bagels online and sent my husband to pick up an order. Not only the order was not there -"stolen" as Mr. H. Singh told him. He also neither provided him a replacement nor canceled the order. On top of it he threatened to call police since he decided my husband did not respect him enough! I had to write to Einstein's headquarter - conveniently only message on the phone and file a dispute with credit card! No bagels but a lot of work just to return to square one. I was also pleasantly surprised that you can dine in once again -- saw 2 old dudes sitting in the dining room having a nice chat! I love Einstein bagels but their service is very poor. I visited there and their drive thru was closed. When we entered there was only one person taking the orders and packing them. There was a long line, the person was not at all helpful and was very rude in communicating. I understand he was alone and definitely the the store was shortstaffed but during holiday season possibly the company can hire more people as per the demand. I was in line for 10 minutes then a lady joined and all through that time she was just standing there and did not plan to help anybody or cashier. I did ask him to slice my bagels but when I reached home to eat them they were not sliced at all. Instructions for not fully followed and it definitely does disheartens me to tell that the service was very bad. read more

Check your order! I was shorted 4 bagels out of my bakers dozen order which I didn't realize until I got home. I had to drive back 1/2 hour to get what I should've gotten originally. The manager PREETI did the minimum to make sure I was satisfied, initially wanting to charge me for gourmet bagels which should have been included in my original order. No wonder this location has such a high employee turnover: Don't leave this location until you check your order thoroughly to make sure that the cream cheese isn't expired and the order is what you expected is to be. read more

This is no New York Bagel shop. Although other than going up to the bagel bakeries in the Northern suburbs, Einstein is about as close as you can get. When I arrived to get a dozen, the shelves were basically empty. There are probably 3 dozen bins for bagels and most were empty. The rest only had a few in them. I did ask if they were making any more and they said they'd just put them in the oven and it would be a while. So I ended up getting what they had. We took them to my daughter's place for brunch. They were fine, not outstanding. For chain store bagels, they do rate a bit higher than others. In a pinch, not a bad place to go. read more

Maybe they got different staffs? This is my go to spot for my morning coffees and bagels since it's on my way to work. For a while it was a long wait for the drive through. I would have to wait before they take my order and wait for my order. However, now service has been better. My order gets put in when I drive up and only a few mins for my order. We placed an order of a bakers dozen bagels and 2 cream cheeses for our Yom Kippur dinner. My husband walked in to pick it up and was the only customer there. The two employees didn't look up form their phones behind the counter to greet him. He moved closer and stood patiently, after he was continued to be ignored he said 'hello, excuse me I'm picking up an online order' They rudely said ' over there' and he said 'are you sure? It was a larger order? Finally one of them showed him to our order. When we got home, we realized the cream cheeses were completely wrong, I marked the 'yes' option for them so pre slice and they were not sliced, and out of the 13 bagels... 6 were blueberry or raisin?? I go there almost every single day, they're always happy and put a smile on my face when I show up. They are always quick and make extremely good Bacon Egg and Cheddars with just one egg. I usually go through the drive thru but when I have to go its always clean and well stocked. I don't think I've ever had to choose a different bagel because the one I like is always there!! Would give zero for a review if i could. arrived at Einstein bros. at approx 1:20. cones at the drive up order area. no sign saying closed. I drove up and beeped and it took some time for them to come to the window. they told me the drive up was closed! wouldn't let me order despite they were at the window. Manager Ryan came to the window and said they usually close the drive through an hour early! really!!! He then sarcastically. said we are open you can come in. I had my dog with me and I dont leave him in the car! he then closed the window on me! I was angry and he brought all the people at the store to the window and they started booing me! Terrible customer service. Employee degrading me telling me maybe I should get another job since they gave the food I was supposed to pickup to another driver. All I asked is what I should do and said:" so I wasted my time driving out here then?" For the price, I'm giving this place 5 stars. Some of the reviews date from when they were understaffed. Until recently, it was hard for all establishments like this to find workers. Yet... since the start of March, 2023, lines have been short; service has been fast; and I've been there many times and my orders have always been right. I love the variety of bagels (must be over 20 different kinds) and bagel sandwiches (at least a dozen different types). I lean toward egg sandwiches. I ordered an Asiago cheese bagel sandwich with egg and bacon (added cream cheese) and a medium caramel macchiato, and everything was great. The only reason I gave them a four star review vs. a five star review is because it seems a little ridiculous to pay over $14 for a bagel sandwich and a fancy coffee. read more

The best way to describe Einstein Brothers bagels is by using the definition of insanity I keep going there over and over and over again expecting something different but always getting the same results. Being first in line at the drive-through means nothing and it takes them 15 minutes to make a bagel sandwich and a cup of coffee obviously drive-through pick up does not mean you will get your food any quicker. When you finally get to the window they give you this nasty little screen to insert your card into that you really don't want to touch because it's all filthy and nasty. When I opened my tasty turkey bagel sandwich it had a puddle of liquid at the bottom in the bagel was soggy. This place used to be good but not anymore. read more

What's the point of ordering a dozen bagels when they don't get sliced or toasted and then when I go to get my replacement order the next week they don't even individually bag the sliced bagels. So now my jalapeño and chocolate chip bagels are touching. Staff was rude and inconsistent. The store has no organization. Anywhere but this location. Please train your staff. But today, I ordered breakfast for myself and my boyfriend through DoorDash, and when the order arrived, my boyfriend's sandwich was in the bag, but not my bagel. I discovered that they had taken the bagel off the order because they were out of the kind that I ordered. Naturally, I was annoyed that I hadn't been told beforehand, so I called to see what was up. I was told that DoorDash had left them no option to contact me. So, I contacted DoorDash, who told me that in fact, they did forward my contact info to Einstein Bros. I don't know who is actually to blame here, but I never should have received the order before being told it was incomplete. I was given a refund, but that doesn't mean much when I am still sitting here without breakfast. read more
