I have been so impressed with other restaurants we have visited during the Corona Virus Crisis. Literally, every other place we've visited (mostly drive-thru) have jumped through hoops to demonstrate how they are taking this medical crisis seriously. Not so with this Einstein's Bagels. They are "business as usual", no latex gloves, no cleaning visible to the customers, a manager/staffer rubbing his nose and eyes while going back and forth collecting money and serving the customer. Yuck. I won't be back to visit a store that doesn't want my business enough to demonstrate concern for the well-being of the community! read more

I don't have to think twice before giving this place 5 stars. Im not even a bagel person but this place has changed me. Who wants doughnuts anymore after you've tried what they have to offer? The prices are kind of on the higher than usual fast food prices; especially for sandwiches. However, once you eat here, you will find out why you'll ignore your bill. read more

Met a friend here for brunch today. Ordered the Supernova. Wasn't worth $7.50 at all...they barely put any avocado on it and the bagel itself was cold and chewy. But I could've overlooked my overpriced and unsatisfying meal...what I found unacceptable was that one of the employees began VACUUMING the carpet right next to us while my friend and I were still eating. Wtf? Who does that to their customers? Some basic food safety training is desperately needed at this location, and a Roomba wouldn't hurt either. read more

Pretty disappointed at this place tbh. Went there this morning for the $7/ dozen bagels. I bought 2 dozens, one for my aunt one for myself. My aunt's bag has 13 which is the correct number of bagels. Mine? Only 11! There were two guys working there, one white guy and one Indian. The white guy packed my aunt's bagels and the Indian did mine. My aunt told me she's had the same experience. Our first time here and it was better than we expected. The Lox and bagel is very reasonably priced and it is delicious. My wife had a breakfast sandwich and it was also very good. Our grandson enjoyed his bagel with strawberry cream cheese and a nice hot chocolate. We will be back! read more

I've been to this location 2x now and I was not thrilled with either visit. I ordered the bacon egg and cheese bagel and figured it was hard to mess up. The egg was cold and the bacon was kind of fatty and not crisp. It's always dead in there too, which should have been a sign! The guy was friendly but also didn't wear gloves to prepare my sandwich... maybe he didn't need to idk!?!? First time coming here this morning & I must say it was very clean & a convenient location. The employees were very friendly & time efficient. I got a half dozen assortment of bagels which consisted of an Asiago, Onion, Everything, Ancient Grains, Blueberry, & French Toast bagel. My family loved them! They offer a variety of cream cheese flavors (which they call shmear) I must say the Honey Almond is delicious. They also have doggie bagels so naturally I got two for my pup. Recently did a catering for my office, they were super efficient & did free delivery. They also gave us extra goodies. Owner came himself to drop it off & set it up. He was good looking & so nice. Asked if we needed more stuff. Bagels were all made fresh, Turkey Chedder, Chicken pesto my fav, Turkey bacon avocado. They gave us drinks on the side & their freshly baked chocolate chip cookies were definitely delicious Overall, great service & great quality food!! read more

This is my go-to for bagels. Today I ordered a green chile gourmet bagel. I get to work, sit at my desk, pull the bagel out of the bag.....along with the 10" black hair sandwiched between it and my fingers. I keep my hair really short, so it's not mine. Absurdly poor management (who apparently is also the owner). After an incredibly rude man took my order, I waited - no exaggeration - over TWELVE minutes to pay for/ receive my small order. I was behind ONE car in the drive through on a Wed morning. The lone car behind me gave up trying to pay/eat and drive off. When she did, I was able to also get out of line. However, I went inside to see what the heck was going on. There were three total people working there, including the manager/owner. When I (albeit gruffly) asked why I had been waiting so long and where was my bagel and coffee, the mgr seemed puzzled then found my (now cold) bagel. NO apology given and he rang me up. Incredulous, I said, "you're really going to charge me for this?!?" He said nothing and wouldn't look at me. He then said that they had a new person in the drive through. Then I asked who the mgr was. No reply. I said, "you're not going to answer me?!" to which he replied, "I am." I scornfully chuckled and asked then who the owner was to which he replied him also. Amazing. He threw in the coffee for "free." I wouldn't have even taken the bagel, but it was the breakfast my (now late to school) small child wanted. I'll never go back again. This is not like any other Einsteins or Noah's that I've ever been to. If this location fails, it's only because of that manager. read more

Restaurant is fairly clean, however while standing in the order line, I noticed the manager pick up a slice of cheese off the ground and then put gloves on without first washing his hands. I tried their Turkey Bacon & Avacado, it was one of the best I had. The food was a perfect amount & what I love it had enough avocado. Usually people are so stingy about their avacado, I felt in love with this place. Gonna o back to get some more, I'm craving it as I'm typing this. So I do the drive thru at this store several times a week, as I love Einsteins. What I love however is consistency, and in the past 2-3months they seem to have "lost the recipe" on how to make cinnamon twists.... which are supposed to be somewhat flaky with good frosting coverage (from my experience in many years @ Einstiens)... but at this store, they are most often of late very soft, almost not fully cooked, and with very little frosting. Love to see that corrected as I'm sure not the way the franchise intends, certainly not customers. MD read more

Was visiting Texas and went to this Einstein for Breakfast. It was packed here in the morning but the staff was courteous and kept the line moving. The food and service was great. Also the restaurant is very clean. I would highly recommend. read more

Waited in line for 15 minutes for a dozen bagels which should only take 1 minute. They really need more workers during lunch time.

This location is absolutely awful. They are always out of poppy seed and pretzel bagels. The speaker in the drive thru is so distorted you can barely understand what they're saying, then they act annoyed when you ask them to repeat what they said. Employees working the drive thru are very rude. They tried to give me honey almond cream cheese when I asked for garlic herb then proceeded to slam things around when I asked them to change it. Guy asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes please, he then said thanks and starts to close the window. Um, I said I needed a receipt. He then rips it off the register and nearly throws it at me. This is not the first time I've had poor service here either. Their sandwiches leave much to be desired. They always come smashed flat with skimpy toppings. The $7 Monday deal is a bait and switch. They automatically ask which two cream cheeses you want then you get up to the window and it's $13. Uh, what about the $7 deal?? Oh, well you got two spreads so... Yeah, so you're telling me you charge $6 for mediocre cream cheese and act like it's included when you order? Nevermind, I'll go elsewhere. read more

This place has great food! Best brewed coffee in town hands down. I make a special trip on fridays to pick up the challah bread. We also love the asiago and sesame bagels and the chocolate chip coffee cake. We usually buy the tub of shmear cream cheese verses on the bagel, works better for us. The person in the drive thru this morning sounded so miserable. He said "one moment" when I got to the order box. There was no one else in line. When he was ready (not sure what the hold up was), I ordered my bagel toasted with the reduced fat plain shmear. I got a messed up bagel that was shown to the toaster (as in barely toasted) and slathered with a whole tub full of cream cheese. It was not satisfying at all and I'd be hard pressed to find the motivation to return. I visited the Murphy location last week and as usual the staff and especially the owner are not welcoming and neither he or anyone else greeted me when I walked in. I had a coupon "six bagels and cream cheese for $6" that I used. The owner applied the coupon, but he slipped in and charged me for an extra bagel $1.34. I realized this only once I was in my car and on my way home. $1.34 will not make me poor, but it shows the deceitful way they do business. The one thing that I do not like is they no longer make the Bagel dog! They said said they have replaced it with the hash brown. NOT HAPPY. TERRIBLE SERVICE & OWNERSHIP---location-Murphy Marketplace- 121 E FM 544 Murphy Tx 75094. As residents we were so excited to finally get an einsteins in our home town. It's now been open several years & continually having the same Issues. How does a bagel store run out of bagels especially on a weekend before 10 & then "claim" They're not making anymore for the day when they don't close until 3pm. This mainly happens with the chocolate chip & asiago which are 2 of the most popular not to mention MOST kids only eat the chocolate chip. Over the years I have tried numerous times to speak with the Owner/manager (even messages to corporate) who REALLY by perception could care less about the issue & actually hides from customers who have a complaint or issue. Corporate just doesn't even bother to attempt to reach back out. I know many families that have just stopped even going there because of this & that may just have to be us too. read more
