For example, baked salmon requested, but received lox; no onions requested and got onion but no tomato; missing sides. Each time the line was too long to get the issues fixed, so we didn't bother trying to get the right thing. Oh, and the "side" of fruit or potato salad? It's barely 2 tablespoons and laughably small. The only positive is that the bagels and contents are still pretty good. The other continuing issue is the place is always super messy, with trash cans overflowing and tables covered with debris from other diners. You will have to clean your own surfaces. I hope the manager/owner is reading all reviews, because the John's Creek location needs an employee attitude and cleanliness overhaul. They should hire an extra person to bus/clean tables during peak hours.

They have a great parking lot but my GPS had me going in the wrong way so I circled the block one before arriving. The interior is cozy but there are plenty of tables. I sat by the door to eat in but I sat next to where the to go orders are picked up. It was busy. I went for a very basic breakfast of a toasted everything bagel with butter and cream cheese and a coffee. The bagel was soft yet crunchy and the toppings delicious. Regular drip coffee was good too. I really want to go back soon, this is great!

Whewww, I canNOT believe America has arrived at normalizing paying $20 for basic breakfast fare…read more The world is changing and I've clearly been under a rock, as I don't normally eat breakfast. But I was out and about early in the morning and decided to stop by here right as they were opening. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. But I definitely had a moment where I had to ask myself if that was a $20 well spent. Bronx Bagel Buggy is a SMALL deli in a middle-American Atlanta neighborhood that might still think it's in NYC. Hate to say it but this is why many southerners are lowkey pissed with the massive migration of northerners down here... I got the Standard (Bacon, Egg, Cheddar) on a rosemary salt bagel. While the bagel was tasty, the inside of the sandwich was not. Limp, soggy bacon. Cheap, McDonald's style egg patty. This sandwich should be $6 at most. The bagel itself was delicious and very well done -- this is clearly where they are putting in the effort and I have no qualms with it. But next time I'd just get the bagel by itself and skip paying more for what felt like not-so-great ingredients. I also got a chai latte with oat milk. Well made, but surely nothing spectacular. Holy cow... $6+ for that, too. Oat milk is an extra $.70. I don't know whether to be disgruntled with the owner or the local/federal taxes that has places charging like this LOL. It honestly just feels excessive, especially for the area it's in (love you Chamblee but I love you especially because you're affordable and not built around pretentiousness). Service was nice and it was clean when I went in. Perhaps the lunch sandwiches are more worth it? I am all here for spending a pretty penny on food but I am lost on this one.

I had high hopes for 1910 Public House, especially after a trusted friend raved about their…read moreexperience there. Unfortunately, my recent Sunday visit for a takeout order left me thoroughly disappointed, and nearly $50 lighter with very little to show for it. The Food: I ordered two items: the pimento cheese fritters and the shrimp and grits. The pimento cheese fritters were, in a word, average. They looked and tasted like standard fried cheese balls--nothing visually impressive, nothing exciting about the flavor, and at $16 (or $4 a piece), I expected something with a little more creativity or punch especially at entree pricing for an appetizer. It was just pimento cheese, deep fried. That's it. Just as literal as could be. The shrimp and grits was the bigger disappointment. At $26, I expected a hearty, well-portioned dish. What I got was four average-sized shrimp and barely any andouille sausage--and I mean barely. It was just one thin slice of smoked sausage, cut in half, and placed in the entire dish. That was it. The portion felt light the moment I picked up the bag, and once I got to my friend'd and opened it, that feeling was confirmed. I will say, as an avid Yelp user I did my homework before ordering. I looked through photos on their page and noticed that their Shrimp & Grits looked completely different across three separate photos. When I asked the staff about it when I arrived, they mentioned the menu rotates every twelve weeks, which is fine, but the inconsistency made it hard to know what I was actually ordering. Atmosphere: I didn't dine in, but from what I could see, the space seemed nice. It's located in a charming, up-and-coming part of Lilburn, and the staff I interacted with were friendly and pleasant. So there's that. Final Thoughts: This meal was definitely not worth $50. It wasn't worth the drive, and honestly, it wasn't worth the effort. The food was underwhelming, the portions were stingy for the price, and the value just wasn't there. My friend loved the place, so maybe they caught a good day, but based on my experience, I don't know if I'll personally be returning. If I'm being honest, if I wasn't so tired then and it wasn't as far as it was, I would've just driven back, returned the food, and gotten a refund.

My friend and I came in around lunch time on a Monday, little to no crowd. There is a back lot for parking or street parking in front. Our waiter Jessica (Shoutout!!) was so patient and gave 11/10 service. Thank you for the recommendations girl! We started with appetizers: Grit Fries & Crawfish Corn Chowder Soup -Fries were a very crispy outside, creamy inside and the dipping sauce was a slam dunk -Soup was very filling and had all the right flavors Main course: Breakfast Croissant (Gluten Free Bread) & Nashville Chicken Sandwich -Both very good and the fries were crispy, chicken was flavorful and not hot at all! Ended off with a berry cobbler that was so tasty! I left a new cobbler fan! Thank you Public House and I WILL be returning!

The female who took my order is physically arm length from grabbing the bagels with the tongs, and does not. Mind you, the place is not busy AT ALL! Nobody in line before me, nobody waiting for their order type not busy! I thought I could stand at the counter and wait for her to grab my bagels, instead she told me to "wait at the window"?! Umm.. two bagels. Put them in a bag, hand them to me. Easy. But no. I waited at that window, watching the two employees making sandwiches, while I'm waiting for TWO AS-IS BAGELS. What?!? THEN, I see dude in the back cutting, what looks like the two flavors of the bagels I ordered AS IS, so I say "Sir, no! That's not how I want them or ordered them." To receive ZERO response. Again, listening skills are NOT A STRONG POINT HERE. Will not be back. Took WAY too long for two AS IS bagels that I could have actually grabbed with tongs myself from the open baskets, but not knowing if that was allowed, I didn't. Instead, it took near 10 minutes what could have taken 20 seconds. Just baffling. So, to answer the question "What could improve?" That would be, basic listening and comprehension skills would be a great start for employees who are taking food orders from paying consumers. Yeah, that could improve.
