Grayson Sweet Home Cafe definitely feels like home! We stopped in to grab a cup of coffee on our way back from exploring the city. The employees were very kind, greeting us upon walking through the door. They have everything from breakfast options to any type of coffee you'd like or even pastry options! Did I mention they have a drive thru option also? For those rainy days that you would just want to grab a coffee and go. But don't hesitate to step inside, the ambiance is fantastic. I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm back in town. Worth the visit! Thank you for your great service.

Grayson Sweet Home Cafe is located at the heart of downtown Grayson. A cute and quaint little coffee shop that has a decent amount of seating for its diminutive size. The staff were very kind and service was quick. I'd rather support this small local shop than any nearby big chain coffee shop any day. Give this place a shot for your next meetup or morning drink.

If you are looking for a nice down home, low key vibe, Grayson Home Sweet Cafe is it. This is a great spot for relaxing and taking in some nice music. They have a variety of different options from which to choose including breakfast (served all day), sandwiches of many forms and specialized treats & beverages. If you're in the Grayson area you do well to visit this little dive. An added benefit is it is located across the street from a nice park/downtown area that n Grayson. Go solo or with a few friends. You will really enjoy Grayson Home Sweet Cafe.

    Salted turtle with oat milk

Stopped by Grayson Coffee House while I was in the area for an afternoon pick me up. The cafe is housed in one of Grayson's historic homes. I love that they've kept the charm of the home both inside and out. Plenty of parking behind the cafe and even has a drive-thru option. I was greeted immediately upon entering. Their menu offers coffee, tea, snacks, sandwiches and more. I just wanted coffee at the time and decided on their salted turtle with oat milk. I believe the salted turtle was a mix of chocolate, white chocolate, and caramel. What a combo, right?? It was plenty sweet but surprisingly not overly sweet. They serve Jittery Joe's which is a chain of coffeehouses based in Athens, Georgia. Strong and delicious! The staff was absolutely wonderful. It took me a while to decide on a flavor because they had a lot of fun flavors to choose from, and the team was patient with me. Our short interaction while they were making my drink was memorable and pleasant. Highly recommend GCH!

Unfortunately I had to update my review. This used to be a dependable place to come to with fast service. Their drive through is up and running, however, it takes 30 minutes to get a toasted bagel when there are 3 people working. I sat in the drive looking at one person just wiping down little things when she could have stepped in and helped. Then the main person who was making the order, is serving people fork and knives with napkins when that is all self serve. All this walking slowly around like if no one at the drive through is waiting. If you have a big order, it takes nothing but a couple of seconds to pop a bagel in a toaster while the other order is already being worked. It's food prep basics! Or, if you cannot handle a 5 minute order ask for help. Such a waste of time and am never going back.

Toffee Nut Latte with Soy Milk

I want to love this place so badly, it's the only local coffee shop in town. I've given it three chances and I'm feeling really disheartened. The decor is adorable, the location is great, and the staff are lovely. I have no qualms with the service or ambiance! My dislike is with the coffee. I am a lactose intolerant latte person. I've tried three there so far: vanilla latte with oat milk, pumpkin spice latte with oat milk, and the toffee nut latte with soy milk. At first I wondered if I didn't like my latte because of the oat milk. But the first drink I had, the pumpkin spice, didn't taste like anything except the espresso and oat milk (which tasted like saw dust). I tried again, a different flavor, thinking maybe the staff accidentally used the sugar free syrup and that's why I couldn't taste the flavoring. The vanilla latte with oat milk was better, but again it was pretty flavorless and the milk tasted like saw dust. Finally I went today and got the toffee nut with soy milk. This tasted significantly less like saw dust, but there was no toffee flavor. Only milk and espresso. I think that for many people, this type of latte is what they'd enjoy. For me, I really appreciate a flavored latte with BOLD flavors, especially because the flavoring itself costs extra. I REALLY want to love this place, so maybe if I go again I'll order double the amount of flavoring in the coffee. In conclusion, I hated their choice in oat milk. I think the soy is much better. If I go again, I'll need to ask for double the amount of flavoring. And for a $6.89 cup of coffee, I think it may not be worth it. I do not want to go to a big chain, I want to support this adorable, wonderfully decorated local business. Maybe I'll give it another shot...

After a visit to the local park nearby, I wanted something to drink and decided to give them a try - great decision! It was what made me try their food and coffee. It started out as a place to grab a beverage but then quickly became a favorite drive thru breakfast spot. Additionally, It's a great place to meet a friend for breakfast/lunch/coffee plus I've had breakfast with my family there - great for families too. The coffee can compare to the best out there and the food is fresh and delicious. I love that there is an outdoor seating option. It's covered and climate controlled with cushion patio furniture, which gives it a cozy vibe. I would be remiss not to mention their smoothie options - they are delightful! Price and service are commendable!

Great spot to grab food and coffee. Option to sit inside or outside. I usually get the wrap but opted for the waffle today and it was soo good!

Lovely neighborhood spot for coffee you can pick up drive-through or even sit down inside and enjoy your cup. The people are always friendly. The coffee is great, and they have great baked goods as well. This place is my go to when I'm in town especially over a Dunkin' Donuts or Starbucks.

Good for a meeting room if you can snag it.

Grayson Coffee shop is exactly what this area needs. Great coffee, lunch options, 2 outdoor patios that are dog friendly(!!) and a cute interior to get some work done. The service is super friendly too. They also have a drive thru! While visiting my sister who chose to live OTP (Walton County :-(( ) much to my chagrin, my fiance and I needed a coffee shop to work. Grayson coffee perfectly met our needs. Plenty of tables both inside and outside. Lots of outlets for computers. They even have a microwave! This makes it easy to reheat coffee or a lunch if youre brown-bagging it. Being OTP, I was worried they wouldn't have plant based milk options, but they have 3!!! Almond, soy and coconut milk! They serve breakfast all day which is cool. They have Breakfast sandwiches, bagels, egg wraps, muffins, etc. They have lunch options too - salads and sandwiches. The only good vegetarian lunch options are the avocado egg salad and the hummus platter. Better than nothing! Staff ARE wearing masks! That was such a relief. We want to support local businesses but the ones not requiring masks are too risky. When the staff is wearing masks, it makes us feel more comfortable dining in. We will definitely be regulars when we are in the Grayson - Loganville area.

We travel to…read moreGrayson for a doctor and it is a long, annoying trip to make from where we live, depending on traffic, which is almost an hour away from our house. Every week I have this appointment for the last almost 2 years. One day, I missed my road and we saw this coffee shop. We stopped out of pure frustration at being a little lost and so we pulled in- rather than trying to find our way back to the other end of town we were more familiar with. The first time we tried it- it was an experience. My son and I were very impressed at the flavor profiles and on how they actually prepare the drinks. He is a trained barista that has turned into a coffee snob. There are steps to take to make sure the coffee and espresso is done right and a lot of larger coffee shops just don't take the time to care. We could tell with one sip that the staff did it right. The temperature, the taste, the added flavors- all were perfect. We have a very specific order and while my son will experiment with flavors- I prefer the content of caffeine to guide my purchase. The staff was amazing at suggesting different options and worked with me to create the perfect drink. Now I I get it every week. I actually look forward to my appointments because I have the excuse to get the best coffee around... or at least within an hour's drive from my home. The staff at this location also remembers you. I know they have a lot of customers, but when they can recognize your voice in the speaker and remember your typical order- that's just a more personal experience and welcoming on a different level. I really appreciate the "goodies" that Scooters offer. When I come through and I am given a sticker, badge or duck- I feel like I am an important part of Scooters and that they are actually appreciating me-when they don't even realize that without that beverage, I'd be a completely different person. The biggest problem with Scooters is that there is not a location closer to my house. My son and I even looked into starting a location of our own, but we don't have the capital to put down. We love it so much we looked into starting a whole business based on our addiction... that's pretty wild. The owner at this location really gets involved, too. That is a cool that he is actually a part of the Scooters family, not just an overseer. He works along side his staff and has a smile on his face while doing it. All the staff they have had have been wonderful and one recently moved and it kinda broke our heart to know she wouldn't be at the window next week. But, I know that another one of the people there will step up and fill her spot with another big smile and great customer service.
