I used to live up by the Longboards on North Oak (?) in KC and then moved after college. I was sad…read moreto leave this AMAZING place. However, I discovered one in Lees Summit and was stoked! Longboards offers a wide variety of wraps and bowls. It's hard to choose which one to get! I typically get the cheese quesadilla wrap (I think it's called that) and I add chicken to it. Their wraps are giant and hearty. I always have a half leftover but they heat up great. If you're hungry and needing some quality food, Longboards is the way to go. The staff is friendly and can help you decide if you have a hard time. Stepping into longboards is like stepping into a quick vacation to the beach or something. The tropical chill vibes make for a great atmosphere to enjoy your wrap.

My grandma, who has since passed, always spoke so highly of Longboards and encouraged me to try it…read more I never got around to it while she was here, but I finally gave it a shot recently--and I'm really glad I did. The food was genuinely good, and now I understand why she loved it so much. There are so many wrap options to choose from, and I'm already looking forward to trying another one soon. It's also a bonus that it's within walking distance from where we live right now, which makes it an easy go-to spot. I'd definitely recommend checking it out--whether you're craving something quick, fresh, or just want lots of variety, Longboards has you covered.

Most often, the sub sandwiches are excellent. Especially if the bread is fresh out of the oven!…read more It adds so much to the taste of the sandwich when bread is fresh from the oven.. Find a subway near you & always watch & listen to everyone around you! You have a great place if staff is friendly & knows about the job & the food. Look at everything around you. How clean is the restaurant, do things look clean & are the staff polite & smiling when talking to you, or to others?

This Subway is on the corner Todd George Parkway and Langston Drive, with great access from either. Ample parking is available in front, and the drive through is easily accessible. The interior was clean and neat, while the service was fast and efficient. Chips are name brand and displayed in a rack near where you order. Back to the quick and easy, I ordered two sandwiches: a loaded up Tuna Salad and a bare bones Steak & Cheese. The tuna sandwich had three scoops of tuna salad heavy loaded with just about everything they had. My steak & cheese was a bit weak. While the flavor was good, there really was not as much as I had remembered getting at other locations. My advice is to order double meat in the future. Prices were acceptable, and sandwiches were marked on the wrappers (something I really appreciate). COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS: Social Distancing is required, Masks are required for both customers and staff, Staff were all wearing gloves, Customers in the store are limited, and the counter is wiped down after each use.

This was our first experience at Vetta. Our neighbors in Lee's Summit wanted to try the new Italian…read moreplace in town. My wife did too. I hadn't heard about it, but after checking out their menu, I was game. Our server, Kaylee was great. It took her a bit to get to our table, but she had a lot of tables and not much help. She was very kind and knew the menu well. My wife had the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken, which she liked great deal. I had a small salad add-on to start the meal. And then I ordered the lasagna. The lasagna was fantastic! One of the better lasagnas I have had in the Metro area. Very meaty and a hardy portion. There were a couple of misfires. Service was a bit too quick as we weren't done with our appetizers and I was still eating my salad when all of the entrées came. Just a few minutes early. All of us ordered drinks from the bar and my wife was the only one that enjoyed hers. The rest of them fell short. One was a custom order and two were from the specialty drink menu. 3/4 drinks fell flat. Maybe they had an inexperienced bartender that night. All in all we would return and hope to try other things on the menu, but we would probably only order beer or wine.

Nice new vibe for downtown LS. New Italian place always welcome!…read more My dad had the lasagna which he enjoyed. I had the Caesar salad, I asked if they had anchovies, server was going to check but salad came sans anchovies.. still fine. Salmon was good. Service was very good. They all seemed new and learning the menu. Food was good enough to return still has a lot of opportunity to be even better!
