The first time I came here I wasn't to happy so I thought I tried again the second time thinking it would be better... first off .. this place is busy so I do suggest to place an order ahead and pick up unless you are wanting to dine in.. the service heresy this business isn't very good.. I had called and placed my order so I can pick up.. I specifically had said no cheese or cream cheeses on my bagel , and had mentioned it twice on the phone and when I got their I had mentioned it again since my order still wasn't ready after I had placed an order over the phone over 20 minute ago... once my order was ready I took it and left and when I got to my job and looked at my bagel I noticed there was cream cheeses in it, so I drove 15 min back to the bagel to ket them know I had asked for no cheese or cream cheese... the employee took the bagel back but the attitude she gave me wasn't very nice, then she came back to give me my bagel but literally slider across the counter instead of handing it to me... the restaurant itself needs to be remolded it's a little out of date , restrooms were not very cleaned and I arrived their at 10 am .. the food their is excellent but the employees and their service skills need to be worked on... read more

As stated in other reviews, service is slow. Which is a relief to see, because the service was so bad I thought my husband was being gaslit because of his race. He went in to order 2 coffee shakes with almond milk instead of regular milk. The barista informed my husband "we don't have almond milk" then he said "Oh, you made my coffee with almond milk the other day". To which she replies, "Well, that was a macchiato", then proceeds to open up a fridge full of almond milk. Only prioritize the order ahead orders as well as delivery orders. Had a lobby full of 20 people for over 30 minutes and no one got their food. I was told my food would only take 10 minutes, however it ended up taking 30 minutes. I always give businesses the benefit of the doubt because I understand things happen, but this location is consistently bad and out of second chances in my book. It's poorly run and frequently understaffed, and I genuinely feel bad for the employees there that are working hard. Today I walked in and waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come over and tell me it would be at least a 20 minute wait for a bagel that was already made and only needed to be toasted...and I was the first person in line. If Einstein Bagels is only interested in serving call ahead/online orders, they should consider a ghost kitchen business model so people like myself (and others) aren't wasting time trying to give business to a company that clearly has no pulse on what's going on. read more

I placed an order for a dozen bagels to be picked up at a specific time which was at least 2 hours from the time I ordered. I waited 20 minutes for staff to even speak to me even though I was waiting at the counter. Then they said they didn't receive my order. At least four other people left without being served while I was waiting. One lady asked for a refund because it took 20 minutes and she still had not received her order. When I finally got my dozen bagels, it was not what the website described. There was a mix of bagels but there were about 4-5 that I did not like and I did not get the kind I was looking forward to having. Very disappointed. Never going back to this location ever again! Would never recommend. Would actually tell people not to go there. read more

Here on a Sunday, 1030am, this place is BUSY. A constant line out the doors at times. The ordering process is a bit chaotic with employees and customers going fast and yelling out orders... I don't come here very often so I felt a bit rushed in ordering.. But the bagels itself are delicious. Super dense and chewy. But still light and moist. Plenty of bagels to choose from, and plenty of smears as well (whipped cream cheese)... That the smears (or is it shmears?) is very light but full of flavor with a generous amount place on your bagel.. You can also buy it by the tub. I was boring and got a toasted plain bagel with honey almond smear. Yum. With taste of honey with small bits of almond too... Try their bagels! read more

The food is always delicious here but the line can get long. I don't use the app to order ahead of time because, unfortunately, you can't customize as much as I'd like. Masks are required and I believe they have patio tables open for dine-in but no dine-in inside. We always get the nova lox sandwich to go and today I tried the all nighter sandwich. Both are delicious and feel like a nice treat. Customer service is pretty good most of the time and they always get our order right so that's a big plus in my book. read more

Worst service ever! They read my order back to me for accuracy and waited for 15 min for those who ordered after me to get their orders first before getting mine. Only for my order to be brought up to the front and left on the counter never being called. When I asked if the bag was mine one of the girls just shrugged her shoulder and said "I don't know". If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered through doordash expecting to get the correct order. I was wrong. the receipt on the bag was everything I ordered but inside the bag was completely incorrect. My order was simple; two bagels with cream cheese and two hash browns. I received two egg sandwiches (which I don't eat) a hash brown and a muffin. HOW could they mess it up this bad? To make matters worse, I opened the egg sandwich to see what it was and it fell apart all over the floor. I called at least four times to see if they can send me my correct order since I paid through doordash and threw money away to nothing but they DO NOT ANSWER. Do not go here. Stepped inside to order and saw the most disturbing, disgusting thing that decided I would never patronize this establishment again. The general manager stood near an employee that was working and insulted her with customers he was familiar with. He talked about how poor the employee is doing but that she says yes to everything. Listening to this I could see how hostile the environment was and how unprofessional this person was. I truly felt nauseous so had to leave. I went to Einstein Brothers Bagels on N. Dysart on Monday for the first time and of course to buy bagels. The store was pretty empty. No greeting. I looked in the bagel case and saw a lot of empty slots where bagels would be. No plain bagels no onion bagels no garlic bagels. Very few choices for it being only 1p.m. I asked if they had any plain bagels and was told unsympathetically no. I asked if they had any plain bagels in the back that they were making and was told they were all sold out in the morning. OMG, this is a bagel store that doesn't make any bagels except in the morning? Bagels is the reason people come here. I ended up buying six assorted bagels, none of which I would have purchased if I had other choices. My wife joined up for the Einstein membership club, so I showed the number on my phone to the woman at the bagel counter who said to go to the register to pay. I showed it to the woman at the register and scanned it. The price for the six bagels was seven dollars. I later learned that members can get 13 bagels for only seven dollars on Monday. Why didn't the woman at bagel counter or the woman at register tell me that after I showed them my membership number? Horrible customer service. I live in a community of over 13,000 and I will certainly let them know about my experience in our e-group messages. read more

I don't know why I go anymore. They are so busy filling orders for DoorDash or online orders that, in-person customers are ignored and have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for ONE SIMPLE BAGEL. I just want to express how frustrating it was when I attempted to visit this location. The website says it opens at 5am on Sunday. Apparently, that is not the case. We arrived shortly after 5am to see the store was close. There was absolutely no opening time listed on the sign for Sundays (that was the only time missing) so we made the mistake of assuming the actual opening time must be 6am since that's what was listed on Google Maps when you looked at this location. That again was not correct because when we sat and waited, there were employees inside, but no one opened the store once 6am rolled around or within 10 minutes of that time. Needless to say, it would be appreciated if customers could obtain an accurate time for Sunday hours for this location and it would have been much appreciated if the employees, who saw us standing at the door trying to figure out the opening time, we're courteous enough to let us know (especially since they know it is not posted on the door and it wasn't anytime close to the time we arrived) opposed to just looking at us then moving to the back of the store. I have gone to this location for years. I was such a regular that the previous staff knew me on a first name basis and got my order ready without me even asking. I just walked in and paid. They were amazing! Unfortunately, that entire staff has quit from the manager on down. Now every person in the location is new. The place has steadily gone downhill for the last 6-7 months. Firstly, it's dirty: trash on the floor, counters and tables sticky and not kept up. Secondly, food: they're consistently out of bagels by 9am. This is a bagel shop RIGHT?! I'm sure management is trying to cut corners and waist but instead cutting their own throats. I watched people turn around and walk out because every bagel bin was empty today except two. Not the first time. Lastly, the service: Today I ordered a breakfast bagel sandwich and a large iced tea. The store had maybe 5 customers in it. None in line while I was. The sandwich was completed and given to me fairly quickly. I waited about 5 more minutes for my iced tea. I finally asked for it. The employee said, "it will be a minute!" She proceeded to do 10 other tasks instead of helping the customer right in front of her. She seemed irritated that I'd asked. I waited another 15 minutes for an iced tea to simply be poured and my food to become cold. I'm done with this location. Staff and management suck! read more

I liked ordering through the app because it's easier and more convenient. I ordered 3 different egg sandwiches with 2 egg whites and thin bagels. None of them had only egg whites and a thin bagel. I didn't even notice this until after i got home and took a bite unfortunately. And to make matters worse i also ordered a hash brown and a cookie for sides and i didn't receive either of those. This has to be one of my worse experiences ever. I happen to be driving all over trying to find this bagel shop and when I finally do I get in there only to be greeted by a rude & nasty young gal that not only wasn't helpful about the Monday bagels discount but made it sound like I didn't qualify for it. So I had to ask well how do I get it? She says; oh you have to apply for it. Oh okay; I said. She then says; would you like a dozen bagels? I'm like well can't I find out at least how to get the reward first? Then she says well you have to fill out this application. I'm like no problem where is it? After she showed me I was like why can't I use my wife's reward card? Oh okay, sure she said. So after all that I go to look what bagels I might like and all I see is empty bins. I'm like where's all your bagels? Isn't this a bagel shop? She said; this is all that's left. I'm like you got to be kidding me right? She says; no! So I said give me the five here and if you have any more of these in the back I'll take them because I don't want 7 plain poppyseed bagels. Oh okay let me check she says as she turns to walk away she immediately turns back around and says no sorry there's none. By this time I was really pissed and so she says; would you like to buy half a dozen? I'm thinking okay well yea if that's at least all you can offer. She says there full price though. I was like after all that just forget it I'm out of here. She knew by then I was steaming pissed and just as I was walking out she says have a nice day Sir. As if that wasn't enough to piss a person off more. I wanted to turn around and tell her off but I didn't because I'm better than that. Instead I knew I would be writing my wonderful review soon after that experience. What a nightmare, I will try my best to return my Einstein bagel gift cards from Costco soon as I can. I enjoy popping in here in the morning on my way to work to grab a bagel. I don't get my bagel toasted and there's nothing special about it so usually they hand it to me the minute that I order. The reason that I only gave them three stars is because I should be able to get out of there quicker when I'm just getting a single item that doesn't require much work. Instead I have to stand there in line and wait for the three or four people in front of me to have their coffee made and pay before I can pay for my bagel and get out of there. I came in thirty minutes after I ordered and they hadn't even started working on the order. They were making orders for customers already in the store instead of making orders as they came in and were super backed up. They need to get some new managers who know how to manage a morning rush. Absolutely ridiculous how poor of a job they did for such a simple order. Do yourself a favor and order your food elsewhere. Ordered on line, a cappuccino and a sandwich. Upon arrival I waited in a place that was dirty and not busy, for 20 minutes. My sandwich was "thrown" on a rack without my name being called out and no cappuccino. I asked about my drink and they stated the espresso machine was broken, if I wanted a coffee instead.
