We stopped here to grab a quick bite after running a couple errands. I got my Texas brisket sandwich and my girlfriend got the country bagel and eggs sandwich. Everything was going good until my girlfriend found a hair in her sandwich. Of course she lost her appetite. I am giving 3 stars instead of 1 like, I'm sure, others might understandably do but I feel like, although unfortunate, sometimes things happen and I would hope this is not a common occurrence. My sandwich was not as good as usual but it was ok. The orange juice started out a little bland but seemed to pick up flavor as I drank more. Her lemonade was VERY lemony (which is what you look for in a lemonade, lol) and was not to sweet. I'll start this off by starting, I love bagels!! Visited this particular location to order the Maplehouse bagel. One of the best bagels Einstein Bros offers currently. This review is for the location, not the establishment as a whole as a reminder different locations you will have a different experience. The set up at this location is strange, they have several registers which you order at one and pay at another. After ordering, waited to pay and at the point added a pre-packaged cookie to my order. When they called my name for my order the cookie was on the table I was sitting at. The representative called me name, then before grabbing my order she asked me, "and the cookie too?" As if I stole the cookie. As I reached for my order I told her I paid for it. That exchanged rubbed me the wrong way. Got home to devour my delicious bagel, just to find out that it that it was a sloppy burnt bagel. The fact that they served me the crispiest bagel on this planet is beside me. I might as well go eat some charcoal with cream cheese on it. Such a disappointing way to start my day, luckily Starbucks was near by. Disappointing total change in food quality re: Nova Lox bagel ordered & repeated at drive 1115 to be toasted (after maybe year of not going there) over years enjoyed maybe 6x in prior. Today not toasted,cool bagel, pale tomato slices compared to past service of 2 halves toasted each half with equal contents & served open face. This was one bun wrapped with cold contents, not presented in 2 easy to eat toasted halves with layer of cheese, salmon, onion tomato capers on each half. How does this happen and to make matters worse I called to let them know . The "assistant manager " Jennifer was really rude and wouldn't give me a refund for my order or give me the managers corporate number . I was told to return to the store to get a new bagel . I've never had a problem here. I usually use the drive-thru, but recently went in. The manager was very polite and offered me the special on bagels, which I gladly took! I understand today is a holiday (July 4th), but in the drive-thru I was asked twice to hold on..once after they got my phone number and once after they asked for my order (they stopped me before I could finish). 2 cars were ahead of me in line and I waited 10 minutes after giving my order and pulling up. I come here at least once a week and always order the same thing and it's always great but the past 5 TIMES I have came they've only put one egg on my sandwhich when I specifically say two.... literally 5 times now in a row it's happened. My friends and I came here for a late breakfast this morning and were set on having some quality bagels and drinks. Once we arrived, we were shocked that the line to order was about 20 people deep. This didn't deter us as it seemed like the employees were working quickly enough and orders came out pretty fast. Surprisingly, the place was filled with high schoolers, even though it was 10 am on a Tuesday (?). The line was quick, maybe about 10 minutes. I have never been to an Einsteins before and was unfamiliar with ordering, but apparently you put in an order first and then there is someone to pay about 10 feet away. The girl that took my order was extremely rude to me about moving forward to pay and when I checked my order, which of course she had messed up. I ordered a regular sized chai and she charged me for a medium (more money) and didn't give me the bagel special that came with the drink and thus I had to pay about 3.50 for a bagel and creme cheese, wow... $$. She had rushed me through the line and her attitude was not the greatest, not okay. The man at the cashier made up for her rudeness and was so pleasant that I didn't complain or change my order. My order was placed and came out directly after I paid and I had a pretzel bagel with reg creme cheese (yumm, tasted like a delicious pretzel!). But the drink, and iced chai; OMG soo sugarrry I almost went into a diabetic coma after having two sips. Ugh, I poured it out and got green tea instead which was pretty delicious, so I was good to go after that loll! Overall, I like Einsteins; but not such a fan of this location now and I think you have to try it out a few times before you know what you like! Your worker (young boy, light blue shirt)that was working on the bagel line sneezed didn't cover his mouth , didn't turn his head , didn't sneeze into his sleeve!!!
