Worst customer service ever. Dropped by at 2pm yo pick up bagels for breakfast tomorrow. The man behind the counter was rude, asked strange questions, and immediately tried to up-sell us from 3 bagels to a BOX full. Might be the "manager" but I'm not sure. Food is still good. Service has diminished to a "don't bother me" attitude. I purchased 3 different types of bagels. They were all thrown in a large paper sack, NO separate paper sleeve for each. When I mention this to the guy, he asked if I wanted the paper sleeves like I was asking something ridiculous, and made a Weird facial gesture. The drive thru was empty when we pulled in this morning, so we took our time looking at the menu to decide what kind of bagels we wanted. When she was ready I first gave her my husbands order which was an onion bagel, toasted, with plain cream cheese. Then mine, a plain thin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, toasted as well. This place is absurd. You wait in a ridiculously long line, and whenever you get up to order, they are inevitably out of multiple things. Today, they don't have chicken, onion, or pastries for the pastry box. What the heck is this? First, line of business is, order stuff before you run out and know the demand. I could go here every day and get a toasted blueberry bagel with strawberry schmear, but thankfully they aren't conveniently located! I wanted bagels, but the lunch pix on the menu looked really good, so I got a bagel and the turkey & cheddar sandwich. 9:30 on a weekday, one person in front of me. Maybe 4 or 5 people in the entire place. My husband ordered everything egg/cheese bagel. Me... I discover they've gotten rid of the Gluten free menu. I order a caramel macchiato. My husband feels terrible. His bagel comes out and is nearly gone before I even get my coffee, nearly 10 minutes later. He ordered a reg coffee which is also out and he ask to ask twice before he gets some. Then he has to get it from the coffee maker himself because they didn't bother to put it in the serving carafe, and this happens at the same time I finally get my coffee. Oh and the lady in front of me, got her caramel macchiato at the same time I did. She looked less than happy about the wait as well. My husband said the bagel itself was incredible, but the egg/bacon/cheese was very skimpy. Such a shame. His coffee was good. My caramel macchiato was 3/4 milk, hardly drinkable. I guess Starbucks will have my business from now on. Very disappointed. The manager was walking around the entire time. It wasn't like he wasn't aware of the two coffee orders on the board (in red). If it wasn't so close to my home I wouldn't go back to this store, I ask for creamer in my coffee every single time I am there and it never happens. My coffee is always cold and my sandwich is half assed every single time, and it's usually cold! Drive thru lady is rude every time I am there. I ordered bagels from Einstein Catering. My order was delivered but there was an important piece of the puzzle missing. We had bagels and no cream cheese. I called the store during the first break we got in our early morning workshop to dispute this. Check out the email from the catering specialist. My corporation will no longer be using Einstein bagels in the future. Didn't nobody touch them dry bagels. We did not have any cream cheese. $11.99 refund is unacceptable. Solid chain location. Came here on a Saturday morning with a friend, and we both had a farmhouse sandwich with two eggs on an Asiago bagel. That's the move! Cream cheese is good. However their avocado is either just like one small slice squished along the middle to make it look like it or it's brown. I have been to this location probably 25 times, if not more. I buy a dozen bagels every other Monday for the $7 deal (which is awesome, by the way!). However, the experiences I have seem to vary and be quite inconsistent. Most recently, they lost my call-in order and handed me a dozen bagels in the wrong flavor. They also did not apologize for losing the order. I know that on Monday late mornings the store can be chaotic, but most people are plenty satisfied with a "thank you for waiting" or a "sorry about that". Anyways, I will continue going despite the lackluster service because I do love the bagels and the price point is great. Love Einsteins food. Unfortunately, the service is an on-going issue. I've been here 3 times this week. Each day the staffing level decreased, until finally on Friday at 800am there were only two people to take and make orders for the dining room and the drive thru (who were obviously flustered)... and one person who seemed to be watching the dining room, ready to wipe tables (though I saw him being asked twice, so he wasn't watching very closely). By the way, the whole concept of one register to order and one to pay has never really worked, especially if you don't have two people to run them. You wait in line behind the people in front of you to order, and then you wait in a second line at an unattended register while the people behind you order. What, so you can swipe my credit card and hand me a drink cup? With a name like Einsteins, you sort of expect more. When I did get my drink cup, it was a medium instead of the large I ordered (and paid for). I asked if this was a large cup, and the clerk said it was (of course she knew it wasn't). And then, of course, my breakfast sandwich was on the wrong bagel. Feel sorry for the employees who were there, and maybe a little worse for the customers who just wandered in trying to get a Friday bagel fix. read more

I like Einstein Bros. Bagels, but I'm not such a big fan of the wait. Came in late Wednesday morning to a fairly empty store and no line in the drive through. The place is clean, although lighting is a little dim for my liking, especially with the walls all being a dark beige-ish color. But this kind of interior is typical I think of most of the chain stores. They have a good selection of bagels and coffee and it seems as though they're freshly made, considering only a bit gets put out at a time. Now I've been eating Einstein's for a while now and while it isn't exactly a New York bagel, I feel like it's the best I'll get here in Cedar Park. So no real complaints there, I'd give it 4 stars. My personal favorite is the asiago bagel which goes well with shmear as well as with a sandwich. Now what gives this place 2 stars, and the real reason I'm reviewing, is that this place takes FOREVER. They seem to be incredibly low on staff, meaning that their focus tends to be either on the drive through or the sit-in. Pick the wrong one, and you'll end up sitting around and waiting for someone to help you. Granted, everyone is really nice here, but if you're in a rush, or not willing to a wait a couple minutes (at least 10 just to have your order taken, even with no line) I wouldn't recommend stopping in here. read more

This place is kind of a hot mess. I stopped by one morning a little after 6am. They weren't open. The sign on the door said they opened at 6am, and I had been there at 6am before, but on this bizarre weekday they were closed. No employee cars in the lot. Nada. So weird. So I get to the window and there's another sign saying the whole place is temporarily closed due to some computer glitch or something. SERIOUSLY GUYS, GET IT TOGETHER! So now, I just go to the location down off 183 near Arboretum. It's on my way to work and the staff there is 100% nicer and more professional than the staff at Cedar Park. TERRIBLE! Thursday AT PRIME TIME LUNCH HOUR 1am , no more than 4-5 people in the sit down, no drive through crowd, no line at cashier. Virtually every bagel bin empty including: pretzel, poppy, potato, cinnamon, cheese, blueberry, etc. The only bagels were wheat, everything and sesame and those look like they were burnt, taken out of the oven and then put back in to burn some more. The burnt bagel bins were not surprisingly completely full. I ask the lady did she have any other bagels in the back she said "no, and then left...and never came back". I took pictures. The food never fails, always great. I've never had a bad experience with customer service until today. I only go once a year as it is no longer in my state. My experience today was less then good. The gal in the drive-thru sounded annoyed, inconvenienced, unhappy to be working and lastly, rushed. I had no one behind me and was not familiar with the menu. One of the most frustrating things is when I need a min to look at a menu and someone sounds like I'm inconveniencing them at THEIR place of employment .
