I had 2 coupons through the app and I had to order in 2 separate transactions with the app. First transaction was fine. However, the second transaction was made with the wrong type of bagel than what I ordered. Then, when I asked for a cup for the drink for the second order. I was asked by the employee "didn't you get a cup with the first bagel"? Um yes, that was my first order in the app, and I placed 2 orders. In my head, I'm thinking "didn't you look at the ticket with the oder on it?" The sad part was it was the manager that was asking me this and I believe it was the manager who made the food with the wrong type of bagel. READ people! read more

This Einstein is average at best. Today the bagels did not taste fresh at all. Either made very early or yesterday. I came in at 1000 am. Also they cut most of the bagels when I told them uncut. This makes me think that they cut them for another customer otherwise they probably would have cut them all or left them all uncut. They often give me cut bagels and I always order uncut. read more

I love Einstein Bros! I used to go to a different location every morning when I was commuting to work precovid. I have been to this location a handful of times. It is right down the street from my house. I would love to come more often but their service is slow. They have a drive thru that is always wrapped around the building and backed up to 60 which is faster than going inside. These guys are absolute bagel geniuses (their coffee ain't bad either). There's a drive through here, but all the action is inside. There's plenty of spots to read or work or people watch, and there's a huge community table too. I prefer going in, even if I'm getting my order to go. I usually get the farmhouse breakfast sandwich, which has bacon *AND* ham, along with a cracked egg on a cheesy-hashbrown-bagel. Yes, its a bagel made with cheese and hashbrowns and its a smile-maker. All the breakfast stuff is good though, and they've got some pretty unique items like the French toast bagel. This location always provides excellent & tasty food & drinks, but this location is also about the slowest Einstein Bros that I have EVER been to! Don't worry about going through the drive-thru thinking you will save some time. Every time I have come to this location, you will pay for you order, & they will tell you to pull forward, where you will sit for another 5-10 minutes (minimum) waiting for your food/drinks to come out. I think this is a little absurd considering that I'm sure a lot of people like to stop here to get breakfast on the way to work. I have gone here a few times on my way to work, but will stop going to this location, due to the slow service. If you do want to stop here, make sure you leave an extra 20 minutes at least, just in case. I will say, however, that the staff have always been very friendly, & they are always apologetic when they bring your food out, not that it helps much when you've been sitting there waiting for another 10 minutes after waiting in the line for 10 minutes already, but nonetheless the apology is appreciated. I don't know if the slow service is due to the amount of employees (not enough of them), or the lack of management providing adequate workflows for the staff, but something needs to change. So many other places provide quick & excellent service for breakfast. You can't have one without the other. You can have friendly staff, but that doesn't matter if it takes you 20 minutes to get your food. read more

So I walk in, order two bagels with strawberry cream cheese, girl making the bagels has gloves on, so far so good. She makes the bagels, adds the cream cheese walks to register, says how much it is, I hand her a ten dollar bill, she reaches in the register, counts out a few ones and coins for my change. She now turns around and starts making the next bagel order. No washing hands or changing gloves. So I'm guessing it's impossible to pass the coronavirus by money. Threw my bagels in trash and walked out. Maybe a little training is needed here about disease spread. read more

I went through the drivethru on 2 separate occasions. The employees seemed pleasant both times. I ordered 2 Lox sandwiches on a plain bagel with no onions and capers on the side. The bagels are super small in my opinion, which makes the sandwich super small as well. The cream cheese was added sparingly. My mother complained :( The tomatoes were only one slice per side of bagel. Super lacking there! The Lox was lacking also! The sandwich ingredients were all fresh but the cost to product ratio is not beneficial to the consumer. $7 average cost per sandwich... packaging was clean and neat! Terrible service, waited for 1 toasted bagel for over 30 minutes with them constantly telling me, "we are busy, 5 more minutes". Just because my order is small doesn't mean it's not important because customers after me with bigger orders received them much earlier. Coffee cup smells like perfume, terrible strong perfume, impossible to drink. Why doesn't the manager pay attention to workers who wear extremely strong perfume and don't wear head covers. The bagel's are decent and the service, if you go in person is not too bad at all. The issue that I have with Einstein bagels is that on three different occasions my office staff has asked me to place an order with them and on all three occasions they have forgotten to put all the items in our bag. When we call them all they can do is apologize but there is no real way of fixing it unless you drive back over there or they credit you for the " next time" Sorry, there will not be a next time. Don't bother. I ordered a Nova Lox bagel deconstructed through the drive-through. Got home and no salmon. I called them up and they told me to come back for a replacement bagel. A week later I went back and went inside and ordered nova lox bagel again checked to make sure the salmon was included. So far so good. Got home and no cream cheese. I don't know what they're doing at that place but they can't get anything right. And it's pricey. read more

I have used this location and the one on Fowler several times and out of seven visits only one time has been correct. I don't like for my bagel to be completely sopped in butter so I ask for light butter and still get a soaked bagel. (The cashier had it on the receipt.) So now I've learned to ask for butter on the side. I asked for double toasted because the bagels are only just warmed but when I asked for double toasted they came out black burnt except one visit. When I asked why they said that their toaster is broken and there's nothing they can do about it. How about fix the toaster? Seems like they don't fix things at this location because their sign has been broken for a while too. I have come inside to order because the line outside was quite long and no one was covering the register and we stood there for five minutes when we asked, "oh, they'll be right back." I finally walked out. I won't be back to this location. And I hope the district manager reads these reviews. Stopped by after church for a bagel. We ordered 3 bagel dogs and espresso bagel with cream cheese. We had to wait a bit but watched the people making bagels argue with each other. The bagel dogs were good and bagel was fair. We had to get our own chips and never got the potato salad we order. They did not inform us were chips were. We are new to area so may look around for Sunday after church brunch place. read more

Every time I come the line is so long and no one seems to know what they're doing I have walked out twice after placing an order and waiting 15 minutes for it. I get places second and third chances today was the third chance and I stood there for like 10 minutes and again no one knew what they were doing. For mainstream bagels, this and all Einstein Bros locations are average but better than most supermarket bakeries or national brands available in refrigerated, bread aisle or frozen sections of the grocery store. My biggest gripe here (and at other locations over the years) is the absurdly poor level of service and lack of employee competence. I find it hard to understand why they can't create a better service model. I will say I don't like reviewing chain restaurants as a whole, however as a Northeast U.S. transplant it can be challenging to find certain types of foods here in Tampa Bay that meet my standards. Bagels are one such example. Fortunately, I have found some local spots that know how to do them quite well. As an alternative for this Brandon Einstein Bros. location - just go a few blocks west and hit Brandon Bagels. They are significantly better and more authentic. read more

I typically don't like chain restaurants but have had success at other Einstein's so I was hopeful. We got bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and a bagel with cream cheese. The egg was like warm, the cheese wasn't melted and the bagel was ok. For more than $3 for a bagel and cream cheese I would expect more than just a smidge of cheese. This time I had to spread it just to get it to cover the bagel surface. The staff seems unenthusiastic and clearly it comes through in how the food is prepared and served. Einstein Bros bagel has a really good product but my last 3 visits my order has been wrong. Twice (including today) it was completely someone else's order. Once it was just partially wrong. Today I went through the drive through knowing that I needed to check my order but when I got to the window the cashier repeated my order and then she opened the bag and lifted each bagel and looked in the individual bag. So I thought surely it was right but it wasn't even close. I didn't open the bag until I got home. I tried calling them but was put on hold for a manager who never came to the phone. The food here is great. If you like a crispy bagel and smooth cream cheese (many flavors available) this is a great stop. BUT, the seating area leaves a lot to be desired usually. Tables are rarely cleaned, and the coffee bar usually isn't stocked very well. And speed of service definitely depends on who is working. A few of the employees here do not have any sense of urgency. But others do, so it's kind of hit and miss. I will say though I've never had an issue with the food. read more

They also serve wraps, salads, soups, and coffees. It was a very busy morning with cars circling th building, so I really should have checked my order. When I brought it home, it was obvious it was someone else's order because not a single thing matched what I had worked in the Drive-Thru. I called the restaurant to let them know. An orgy of mediocrity. Over priced and a pathetic offering compared to most any northern bagel bakery. As it is difficult to screw up a bagel, suffice it to say they are popular because most of the patrons have little, if any other good bagel shops to choose from. The bagels are small, of limited variety, and not as fresh as you would expect given that they hold out that they bake "on the premises". For example on their is Onion Bagels, one has to search, to find onions... This is pathetic... If some, one, enterprising entrepreneur decides to replicate any of the hundreds of good bagel shops in the New York, New Jersey area this company would "run for cover". My hope is that we will finally find a decent bagel shop in the Tampa area after nearly 6 months of looking; and being disappointed, yet again, after our second visit to Einstein's. Went to another register, lady said be with you in a minute. She went over and spoke with another employee. My husband said to me don't you think it's hot in here? Yes but I really feel like a bagel. Never fails to disappoint! Today is Tuesday, November 27th. Went for breakfast at about 10:45 AM. Rachel the manager was great, but the lady working the register was woefully inadequate to process our simple orders (there were 4 of us). She did not know how to work the register, and she did not listen well to our orders. it took her a very long time to process our orders in the register. The store was not crowded, but was dirty. Dirty tables, crumbs on the floor. This used to be a great place, but has declined in quality over the past year or so. Food is still good, but the customer service is just not good. read more

Previously there was a counter for the order to be taken and then a counter to pay. Now there is a cashier who takes the orders and cashes out . We waited 10 minutes to give our order, the line was getting longer by the minute. The food came out quickly and it was good. They need to be more organized . I haven't been to an Einstein's in years, but on a whim decided to go here for a breakfast sandwich. I got a spinach, double egg and swiss on an Everything bagel. When I ordered over the speaker, the crew member was polite. However, when I got to the window she wasn't. She didn't give me the total and pretty much threw the bag in my hand as I was reaching for it. I'm assuming because it was a bit busy, but you can be polite and efficient at the same time. As for my sandwich, it was very good except for the fact it was missing the swiss cheese! I read in other reviews that they often forget items so I guess this is a common occurrence. I love bagels but on this specific occasion I was lured into Einstein's because of their #NationalBagelDay promotion. They were offering a free bagel and shmear with a purchase. Not only that but they were also giving donations to charity for every purchase made. I have my usual go to favorites of cinnamon sugar and cinnamon raisin but I decided to try something new on this visit. I purchased the apple cinnamon signature doughnut and revived the French toast doughnut as my freebie with the honey walnut cream cheese. The French toast bagel taste just like it sounds. The flavor or syrup was prominent and I wasn't a fan. With my chosen shmear the bagel was cloyingly sweet and did not make for a good pair. I would suggest going for a plain cream cheese instead. The apple cinnamon bagel was tasty. I enjoyed the cinnamon sugar apples which were baked on top. My bagel did not taste fresh though and was a bit hard. Overall not a bad trip but I think I will stick with my usuals in the future. read more
